As much as I’ve enjoyed some of these episodes you aren’t wrong about that ego! He does always bring it back to himself, though I admire his brutal honesty about how poorly he treated CD and even Kim Mc. He’s said he plans to have Genie and Jonathan Jackson on this year and I hope he does!

None of the shirts in that clip look teal colored to me, but I remain relieved for Terry that her date isn’t Spinelli.

I would love it if this were actually for the show but I don’t see that as a possibility. BW looks great! He felt more causal I agree, a little more jokey. I could get on board with it, but really I just want the character back on the canvas.

I liked seeing the Portia/Trina/Taggart scenes toddy. New Taggart isn’t bad, not sure if he’s sticking around but I would like to see that character more. Everything else was boring

There was also talk for a while about Nik having Hayden shot and rehashing all of that so I think you’re right. I liked Greenlee but Hayden never did much for me. I guess I would rather see Drew with her than as Carly’s shoulder to cry on. I can’t believe they had Sonny call him a knock off Jason and then actually turned him into one. What a waste. I thought Charlotte and Valentin’s reunion was pretty sweet! They had Laura mention she’s 13 so you would think they’d start kicking the younger teen set into gear and have her interact with Jake but this show is so weird about when they show the younger kids.

I usually think he’s phoning it in and relying on tics more than emoting but I agree. CarSon fans seem mad that he doesn’t seem upset at the way things turned out but I think that’s intentional. Sonny wanted out, despite his last ditch effort at winning her back. That’s how I’m choosing to see it!

Oh man he said it! And it’s true, or actually Carly probably fantasied about Jason way more times than Sonny did about Nina because she’s been at that for decades. I wonder how much of her anger is that she wasted her chance to bone Jason one more time because Sonny came home. Also wonder what they would have done if SBu had gotten vaxxed. Would this be a quad? I love that Mo doesn’t mindlessly placate his fans.

I cant even imagine how fans would react if they actually recast Jason! But I would love to see that meltdown.

Now Carly gets to play victim, which she loves more than anything. How many times do we have to watch this same storyline?

I get why she fell for Mike and still has feelings for who he was. But they’re showing Sonny as fairly awful to her and also showing her as weak and groveling. I wish she was just a bit more Ava about it all - enjoying the mess and going for what she wants. The CarSon fans are going to call her evil no matter what. But this show, always plays anyone in the CarSon orbit this way. Oh Lord poor Terry.

What exactly is it about off his meds Sonny that is attractive to Nina, to the point where she has to bone him then and there? She really does not love herself.

Today was pretty good soap. Those Sprina scenes were excellent and that almost kiss was just the right amount of longing and heat. Ava was fun and messy screwing with Esme’s head. Nikolas was completely useless. And Peter of course lives another day longer than he should. It looked like Maxie and Austin were still doing a Covid kiss but others have been straight up kissing. I wonder how they decide these things?

It looks like it might actually be a satisfying day if Spencer finally admits he has feelings for her. I’m surprised they’re going through with sending him to prison but maybe he will discover Esme’s connection to Ryan there.

I can see why the show thought Luke and Laura’s son was needed on scene regardless of Liz. But why they thought a beefcake type was who should replace JJ is still a mystery. And their Nik replacement at the time wasn’t much better. JY was great on AMC but he was all wrong for Lucky. Didn’t love that era of GH at all.

I never heard that Genie was actually mean to Jacob, from her or Jacob. She did famously say that she was against the recast because he lacked JJ’s charisma and he was wrong for the role. She was right on both counts. I will say Maurice is very willing to own up to his past bad behavior. He talked about similar things in his interview with Kim Mc too. But interesting that Steve Burton was much kinder to Chad and helped him in those early days. Soap sets are such dramatic places.

I didn’t think it came off douchey, but he really isn’t a good speaker. It almost makes me impressed he can get out his lines on GH because he couldn’t make it through one sentence in that interview.

I love Real and Taggart so I’m happy he will be back. Is he still Trina’s bio dad or have they made that Curtis?

Ha I never thought of It that way before but I can definitely see Lipton having picked up some chewing the scenery habits from RoHo. I agree though they’ve got some nice talent to develop here. We were quite spoiled in the 90s with Kim Mc, JJ, Amber, Becky and even Steve Burton back then.

I actually think the one with the most potential is Nich Chavez. He’s still very green but if anyone moves on to something bigger I think it’ll be him.

A lot has gone wrong in this teen storyline, but I think this was just the last straw for a lot of fans (me included). They brought Spencer on and had him immediately click with a Trina, teasing that couple all summer long. As they’re about to have their first kiss, they bring on his long-term girlfriend and that’s the story for the next six months. I’m sure SM’a schedule hasn’t helped, but it feels like a bait and switch. Having Trina be absent for the culmination of the cabin trip, where Esme finally gets told off, was just bad storytelling. But to me it also feels like a sign of where this story is going. I know GH does this all the time, they take potentially great stories or pairings and throw them away. Doesn’t make it less annoying.

I think the awkwardness was more that their bff ran off crying after telling them she’s uncomfortable with their group dynamic and is crying alone in the next room. But I guess the show needed it to happen this weekend so it could be recorded in Esme’s burner phone. I sure don’t mind the teens having sex, but they still come across as oddly chaste and younger than their age even with both couples sexually active now.

What a romantic first time for Cam and Joss, btwn their distraught friend passed out in the next room and their being secretly recorded. I don’t think Esme has any long term goal here she’s just enjoying burning sh!t down. Peter with the baby was so hilariously bad. I can’t believe he’s still alive to do these things

I would hate it if Luke and Laura ended up back together. Laura being apart from him and happy is one of the few good things on the show. I would like to see Lucky back though, if the show were ending.
