The last time I thought Maxie was truly great was Georgie’s funeral. I don’t mind KS but she’s been pretty lost on the show for the better part of the last decade. The show doesn’t need Sam, but since it won’t use Liz, who should be a major heroine, I don’t expect things to make sense.

I don’t know if GH appreciates that Sprina has as much potential as it does. I understand how difficult the scheduling must be, but the pacing of this story (assuming they even plan to put Spencer and Trina together in the end) has been pitiful. The way it’s going now, they won’t have their first kiss until next summer.

It’s interesting to me that this crop of teen actors all want a degree rather than focusing solely on acting. Maybe they’ll decide to be actors long term after school, but the other teens that either stayed on GH or went on to act in other projects (Kim Mc, JJ, Amber Tamblyn) didn’t pursue college. Either way, I’m prepared to never have payoff to Sprina and all their potential but I hope we at least get one kiss.

It was really nice to see Drew being so kind to Monica. And even though I am still celebrating Jason’s death and hoping the vaccine mandate continues for the rest of the decade so we never have to see him again, I felt for her. She’s lost too many kids, even if Jason treated her like a complete afterthought most of the time. I got why Carly blames Britt for Jason dying (because of course she has to blame another woman) but Jason invited himself on this getaway. And really he was doing it in part to get away from the Sonny/Carly situation, so it’s actually Carly’s fault in the end.

I’d be interested. And if it sucks easy to fast forward both at the same time

The writers and show runner have no interest in changing Carly. They think current version is the heroine we want. But I would love for Carly to have a true reckoning with herself. I think LW could pull it off, I just don’t think the show thinks fans want that. She will definitely be blaming Britt for this.

Does anyone know why there were rumors (and one retracted article) about Carolyn Hensey also being let go?

Wow that Chad Brannon quote is very disappointing. Was expecting (and understand) all the heart emojis but let’s not act like this fool is some modern day Rosa Parks

The sad thing is, I bet many of his fans will do support him financially in any way he puts out there. I still can’t believe he was kissing multiple costars, while Delta was raging and he wasn’t vaccinated. I think his accommodation requests were BS, but the legal standard for a religious exemption is that it has to be a sincerely held religious belief. The religion itself is less important than the persons prior conduct in similar situations (i.e., even if the Pope said Catholics can get the vaccine, a court may find that a Catholic has a sincerely held religious belief that must be accommodated). We don’t know if in Steve’s case GH found he didn’t have such a belief or if accommodating him would be an undue burden (especially since he has to routinely swap spit with his coworkers!). I’m a lawyer and helping my HR dept wade through our RA requests and some are…interesting.

Yes he’s awful and always has been. Not even conflating him with Jason who I hate, Steve just has an over inflated ego and seems to treat other humans poorly.

I have no sources, except the dream which is a wish my heart made. But seriously won’t we know soon? Either he will be off the air in a week or two or he won’t. And if he’s not leaving and they dropped the MOC storyline turns true love for no reason I find this show very confusing.

I hated the second return of JJ as well and since he ran as soon as he could, I can’t imagine he’s open to coming back. But who knows. I think GH should expand Trina’s family, bring back Gia and a cousin for Trina. But that’s a bit beyond the scope of this topic.

That Disney+ Jungle Cruise product placement they threw into the Trina and Esme scene was so awkward. And Esme’s “our plans are the opposite of yours” had a weird sexual implication. But happy to see Esme in a ponytail again. Is there anyone who supports and thinks Olivia is acting rationally? Yet another dumb plot.

Thanks, I never know who is trustworthy with these things. Of course since he’s a former OLTL Todd Manning is not impossible to believe FV would be interested, but this cast is already so bloated.

I’m very glad for her and everyone else on set. It will be good to have Laura back. There’s a rumor on Instagram that Trevor St John is coming to GH. Wonder if he could be a Jax replacement.

At this point I don’t know how they’d do it. Recast or with JJ it would be a hard sell, because he’s abandoned his kids for so long (even if you only consider Aiden his child and ignore the fact that he raised Cam for years) and the show never mentions him being a presence in their life. Aiden visited him once for Christmas years ago. I guess that would but the storyline, why he abandoned them so long and didn’t even show up when his sister went into a vegetative state or when Franco died. People around here have heard JJ is open to it, but since Nashville ended he moved his whole family to Ireland so I’m not so sure about that.

I think Guiding Light was planning to explore Bridget and Hart as a couple before Leonard Stabb had his tragic accident back in the early 90s.

KS dresses way cuter and more flattering in real life, based on her Insta. So many shows flounder when a woman isn’t a size two.

It’s a little frustrating because I would like to know if Burton is out. Do we only find out by watching and seeing if Jason randomly disappears?

They might need one more teen in the mix. Maybe if they’re bringing more of the Wu clan onto the show we could get some sort of Romeo and Juliet thing with a teen relative and Joss. But yes Cam and Esme are totally gonna get it on at some point.

I actually do think intentions matter, but I don’t trust Ingo when he says he didn’t intend for his words to mean what they said. I’m not a fan in general of the angry mob rule that comes with Twitter, and if someone seems caring and decent and just made a bad choice of words, that’s enough for me. Just don’t think that was the case here. Anyway he was fired because of the Disney mandate, not his social media posts.

Hahahahaha! This picture is amazing, I love that he genuinely made that face hearing about them just contemplating dating. This is the only storyline bringing me joy right now.

“Cam and I were just talking about a weekend away” ”You and Cam, when did that happen?” Hope that’s foreshadowing! Thoroughly enjoyed Esme clocking Spencer getting jealous at the idea that Cameron and Trina even ever thought about dating. Alexis is being really harsh on Nikolas and while I’m not loving Nik’s version of fathering lately I don’t get her anger and self righteousness there.
