Late to the party but I really hope #2 isn’t about Sydney McKayla. She’s one of the few brights spots on GH. And I think the show is done trying to get rid of Becky - after the last time they learned their lesson.

I love that Cam, who knows Trina liked Spencer, is suddenly like “hey maybe Trina is in love with me after all!” Silly boy. I’m very curious what Esme plans to do with that burner phone. Send texts that appear to be from Trina telling Cam to meet her for some sexy times? I hope this crazy cabin produces some good fun.

I do think it’s a conscious acting choice, that he makes Spencer more sincere and vulnerable around them. He’s really so good and impressive. He and Trina have a great chemistry but that storyline moves like molasses. Sonny and Carly are sooo boring. I ff their scenes together but I’m actually kind of into this situation with Nina. Maybe it’s because it’s new and it brings something out in Mo that I haven’t seen in many years. I just think S/C are way more interesting apart, especially when they aren’t talking about each other. So the Carly and Joss scenes were ff material too

She is definitely a mix of Janice Dickinson and Julianna Marguiles. She looks good I’m still photos but in motion…yikes! I’m excited (but ready to be letdown) by the teen Cabin mayhem to come, but Esme back to trying to insinuate something between Cam and Trina months after this was first brought up, while Trina is inside flirting with her boyfriend is beyond dumb. Is she not getting psycho villain lessons from Ryan?

Even though JJ’s Lucky (as a teen) was one of my favorite in all of soaps, I would be fine with a good Lucky recast. He’s Luke and Laura’s son, Liz’s first love and Aidens dad. He should have a place on this show. And they need some men in that age range. But the show just has zero interest in it, it’s like when JJ left this last time they wanted to kill him off but just didn’t bother.

I never saw Luke as that fatherly to Liz. He was especially harsh on her when they were going through the Aiden paternity storyline and he was always against Lucky raising other men’s biological children. But Laura is very much a second mother to her so she should have been there for her. This show makes dumb decisions

I think Liz still felt pretty sour towards Luke when he left town. I assume if Lucky had attended she would have gone to support him, but he’s mysteriously volunteering in an African village?? I felt like many people trashed Luke today so that was fun. And the geriatric fisticuffs were ridiculous but also fun. Victor is such good old school soapy villain and Helena was wonderful as always. But we all know Luke isn’t dead and that when he’s brought back it’ll be offscreen so this story remains a big “Huh?” for me.

Very much same. We are beyond the point of “needing” decent people to like Sonny to absolve him and show him as a good character, but in the early days it often felt like that was what Laura did (along of course with Robin). Always hated it. Portia and Curtis are both gorgeous but super boring together. There’s no angst to their romance and definitely no passion.

Truly. They manage to get some organic buzz going and an excited fan base for Trina and Spencer…and then spend 5+ months showing us Spencer and Esme.

With the way this storyline is progressing, by the time the teens make it there they won’t be teens anymore.

This is blasphemy to me. If JJ was actually willing to come back full time there’s no other option IMO. I don’t think he wants that though since he moved his family to Ireland, so I would be willing to accept a recast but neither JY or GV is right for the part. JJ embodied the Spencer in Lucky and as the only one on the canvas someone with that same character is needed. Loved seeing Trina and Spencer today, with Ava pushing them together. And finally Spencer admitted he led her on, which is a start. Also some good moments with Cam and Esme. I don’t remember angry Cam but like Esme I wouldn’t mind seeing that. Anyway crazy chick is gonna drug the whole cabin! Can’t wait. Finn and Liz are super boring and Nina needs to stop being so damn nice about Sonny. But good show today.

Luke’s “death” has gotten GH more press than they’ve had in a long time so I guess mission accomplished? I don’t know why but it feels a little gross doing this while Geary is still alive. I was no Luke fan but still.

I have nothing but fond memories of that 90s opening! It helped that I was generally excited to watch the show everyday then, but the portraits were also more joyful. I genuinely don’t get it either. They could have brought Tracy back in another way if that was the goal. And if this is for some caper they didn’t need a fakeout death of a somewhat elderly man.

This offscreen death of Luke, while TG is still alive, is so bizarre. I’m sure it won’t be real but why on earth do this at all? And the only mention of Lucky is that Laura told him over the phone, no worry about whether he’s okay. Guess they’re really never bringing that character back.

Today was good soap! Thoroughly enjoyed Michael and Willow being miserable. Looks like Joss takes part in berating Willow tomorrow. How could Willow do this after Joss wrote her a Christmas letter!?

Those scenes were hilarious. Esme is way too extra and I love it when people notice. Those courtroom scenes were so good. I love how Scotty does not gaf about Michael’s oh so scary anger.

Seriously, heaven forbid we have a new and fresh pairing with talented younger actors, instead of Sonny & Carly XII.

Well I guess I’m one of those sad fans, so this feels unnecessarily rude. Not everyone likes the same stories 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m watching the 90s Spencer/Cassadine story on YT, starting with Lulu’s illness and Nikolas arriving in Port Charles. I was Lucky’s age when this first aired and remember thinking Nikolas seemed very princely and very sad. But I definitely didn’t think he looked quite as old as he was! Seeing 24 year old Tyler next to 14 year old JJ is a little jarring. But what a beautifully told story this was. Also lovely to see the Steve Hardy memorial. Still can’t believe they haven’t done anything remotely like that for Stuart Damon.

I love so much how openly he’s rooting for them to be a couple. I don’t Twitter but glancing through those replies, Sprina sure has a lot of buzz.

The presidents press conference interrupted the first half for me so I got to see the second half and you didn’t miss much between Spencer and Trina. Beyond Spencer getting pissed that Nik is buying Ava presents, he also threw it in his face that Laura is back in town and called him but not Nik. He invited Trina to the tree lighting and she asked if Cam was coming too and Spencer was inexplicably snarky about Cam being a good elf and bringing the trees to GH (which I guess didnt happen because they all go to the lighting). I don’t know why they’re taking so long with Sprina but I’m glad I missed the part where Spencer admired Esme in her elf costume.

Cam is playing Drew with a quiet kindness that I so appreciate. I hope that lasts. God help me but I’m starting to like Sonny and Nina.

The behind the scenes GH drama is actually pretty juicy! Unlike the show itself. I don’t know why Trina wants to go on this trip where she’ll be a fifth wheel with a guy she likes and his girlfriend who is not to subtly bitchy to her, but it better happen soon. We have been hearing it about forever. GH is really cruel to make a new mother play Sasha’s storyline.

Liz in the previews hoping for Peter’s death…I guess she found out about Jason offscreen. And told her son about his fathers death offscreen too. But we get 3765 scenes of Carly moping. I appreciate the difficulty of working around the college kids schedules, but I would appreciate more Trina and Spencer scenes together. Nick Chavez isn’t in school, get him on set when she’s available!

Did not enjoy Spencer pretending he isn’t at all interested in Trina today. This better lead somewhere good. I thought Kristen Storms was great in her showdown with Peter, despite WR doing that thing where he draws out the end of every word. When he doesn’t speak I could almost think he’s pretty decent.
