I'm curious too. I really enjoyed it, I thought the actress was great and so warm even being limited to only "eye" acting. And while not the best written scene it did attempt to dig into the psychological and push and pull of Willow's conflict accepting someone she doesn't like in Nina as her mother and also accepting that the woman who raised her was neither a good mother or a good person. JorBot can't kiss to save her life. Watching Zeke and Jordan passionlessly smash faces at each other wasn't the sweltering button to end yesterday's show on that they might have thought it was.

Good for him. I think we’re stuck with either the subpar temp recast or a nuMolly or possibly shelving this entire story (I wouldn’t cry about it). Speaking of recasts, Kristina was recast only to not be seen for two weeks. I don’t want to read too much into it but perhaps they’re deciding if this rumored surrogacy story is even worth exploring with both roles recast?

Really hate that Zeke's been in all of two episodes, while looking incredible handsome and charismatic despite GH's strenuous exposition laden dry dialogue, and already saddled with charisma vacuum Commissioner Barbie because GH is a black and white checkerboard apparently. Jordan couldn't have possibly run into eligible bachelor Caucasian Cody or Derma Filler Finn. No, no Zeke couldn't be in town to romance a returning Lucas or as a spoiler to BLQ and Chase's Sweet Valley Highjinks.

Guiding Light Discussion Thread
At least she was off the show for a good 5 years. At first I thought they tried to squeeze marrying a prince and giving a birth and being Amish into two years. Still dumb as hell. Am I wrong in thinking that Reva returning as "Amish" was largely a sight gag for the Slut of Springfield? Doesn't seem like they did much with it beyond introducing Abby. I'd really love to know how they reconciled all that backstory. Where did Richard find her? Did he try to find her family? Did anyone? I kinda get why Edmund was so upset, you mean that this random amnesiac's child is gonna have more power than me?

2023 Writers + Actors Strike Thread
I'm sitting here in shock at these pay rates. That's insane. I'm a graphic designer (amongst other things) and I wouldn't move my cursor to open up photoshop for those rates.

They were full on making out, tongue and all! Pretty rare for TV to see macking like that. Annnnd he's 26 and she's only 19. Welp. Twitter's not the real world obviously but I find it weird that I can't find their zesty makeout scene but a random Sprina post has 200k views. I really wanna find that scene to confirm my suspicions lol. Carly's needs to disown both her boring, hating-ass kids. Their Sonny bloodlust has reached its peak, it's especially hard to watch because Maurice is fully in his "I'm just getting through this" era. It looks like a couple of yapping puppies harassing a retired bloodhound.

GH: AMC veteran joins the show
Maybe he's there to assist Martin in Anna's case. That's more interesting than him showing up to be the lawyer for Carly and Drew's non-problem (wealthy people like them don't suffer real consequences for these type of crimes so all this sturm und drang is stupid).

Y&R June 2023 Discussion Thread
Because they are lazy unimaginative writer(s). Y&R's villains used to have underlings as their calling card. Now we have Cameron back for a month long story that will amount to nothing. I don't know why they bother.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: May 2023 Episode Count
Oh no, not your count. Your count is perfect. I meant 183 episodes haven’t been released since January 1st or April 1st lol

GENERAL HOSPITAL: May 2023 Episode Count
Thank you, I figured as much because the episode count doesn't correlate to the beginning of this year or the anniversary.

The Chad Dimera Award for Most Unlikely Leading Character
I have to read up/watch clips from his introduction. All these years I've been thinking that Jax's existence was some real paint-by-the-numbers laziness. I've been unfair. Oh I know all about them, I was thinking of other sibling pairs similar to them where the new one ends up overshadowing the original. Thought of one not disimilary: Carly on ATWT went from Rosanna's duplicitous sister out for a dime to the leading lady of the show and Rosanna, while notable, became completely eclipsed by her.

GH: AMC veteran joins the show
PLEASE don't give them any ideas. The idea of David...somehow keeping a newborn in cryofreeze for 20 years is just too much for me.

GH: AMC veteran joins the show
I'm sorry but it's gonna happen. David Hayward is such a no-brainer for GH. Past with Anna, DOCTOR, shady af. Perhaps it's an ownership thing, perhaps they don't care. David would make Valentin look even more pathetic as the local ne'er-do-well.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: May 2023 Episode Count
1. Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) - 70 2. Cynthia Watros (Nina Reeves) - 68 Crazy that Nina's purse had more appearances than her. I have a question and was unsure of where to ask but when does a season start for a soap? I noticed that GH is in season 60 and on episode 183. Does the soap season start in the fall like primetime?

The Chad Dimera Award for Most Unlikely Leading Character
Good one! And I should have expanded upon my question, siblings where the established one faded into more of a bit of trivia themselves like Casey and Nikki. Ah see I've never seen Jax's introduction. Middle school really did a number on my soap watching (and AMC and OLTL were my mother's soaps, GH was more of an afterthought). I'm so surprised.

The Chad Dimera Award for Most Unlikely Leading Character
Another bit of trivia I'd like to know: how many siblings of established characters went on to become far more popular than their sibling? You're so right about Karen, she was nice girl filler until KMc was old enough for more mature stories. And I've said it before but giving Robin, beloved young grown-up-on-the-show, HIV was so fücking ballsy. Would never happen today, they're afraid to have Joss cheat on her boyfriend and get in trouble for it! And I had no idea Jax was created FOR Brenda. All this time I thought his characterization is what is in order to be a stark contrast to Sonny (which is what he's become obviously but I thought it was always his whole THING).

DAYS Promo: 6/02/2023
Serious question, how do you latch onto any couples on this show? It seems like if you're between the ages of 25-50 you can and will date/sleep with/marry any possible candidate? And am I to understand that Nicole doesn't know who her baby's father is because she and one of the potentials ate baked goods laced with drugs? Are we still telling these stories in 2023?

BOLD Promo: 'These Friends are Feuding'
Why weren't they allowed to do anything different or interesting in the interim after they called a truce?
