This is (maybe) overly simplistic and nonsoapy, but Doug needs to go to Gamblers Anonymous, to deal with the addictive neurological excitement hits that gambling gives him - and which control his life. Vanessa needs to go to therapy to find ways to remain healthfully lusty and sex-positive, but to stay away from anyone who would demean her.

Sharon and Nick tell Phyllis about Nikki's birthday party, and Phyllis is surprised that Nikki would invite Sharon, so Sharon tells Phyllis that she was Nick's guest at Nikki's birthday party. Mariah shares with Tessa some things about her fears of Ian, and about drinking that night; but then Mariah has more flashbacks of the old man (Michael Swan character), and she panics and runs. Victoria's house (that she long ago lived in with Billy) burned down (I think Aunt Jordan set it ablaze?). Victoria briefly moved into the ranch after the fire, with Claire, Johnny and Katie, I think? Mariah and Tessa and baby Aria had been living in the tack house but they bought a house we've never seen and moved there. Victoria, Claire, and Cole then moved into the tack house as soon as Teriah left. I guess Victoria's children Johnny and Katie would live with Victoria at the tack house eventually? But Johnny and Katie went to boarding school during the school year. Not sure if we'll see Johnny and Katie for the summer vacation or where they would live.

Here’s Alice Horton’s famous recipe! #NationalDonutDay #Donuts #Recipe #DOOL #Days #Daysofourlives #TBT Ingredients: 2 eggs 1 cup of sugar 1 cup of milk 5 tablespoons melted shortening 1-teaspoon vanilla extract 4 cups all-purpose flour, sifted before measuring 4 teaspoons baking powder ½ teaspoon salt 1 stick butter, melted Cinnamon Sugar In a large bowl, beat the eggs until foamy. Gradually add sugar, beating constantly. Stir in milk, shortening and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add to the wet ingredients, mixing well. Cover and chill the dough for 30 minutes to one hour for easier handling. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Spray baking sheet with vegetable cooking spray. Roll out or pat the dough on a lightly floured board to a half inch thickness. Cut with a doughnut cutter. Place the doughnuts and holes on the baking sheet, one inch apart. Bake for 10 – 15 minutes or until golden brown. Brush each doughnut and doughnut holes with melted butter and roll in Cinnamon Sugar to coat all sides. Makes about 36 doughnuts. Cinnamon Sugar: 1 cup of sugar 1 teaspoon of cinnamon In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon, blending well.

thanks, you're right! I was just *expecting* to see a gathering at the pub, since Marlena said that John had wanted there to be a reception at the Brady Pub when he died. There are liquor bottles on the wall shelves, but it's not the Brady Pub. I don't recognize those curtains? I honestly forget what the Bistro looks like, could it be there?
