For all of Kat's interest in "true crime" shows, she doesn't seem to understand some things. I mean, you don't tell the suspect your suspicions too early -- you don't want the suspect to cover it up before there's enough for an arrest. Kat shouldn't have told Leslie that she'd found the jacket and the receipts.

For May 6, I saw only hands holding a camera, but I didn't see a face. Apparently near Holly. As we already knew, re: the upcoming memorial service (not spoiling the airdate here)... the memorial service was taped *before* Drake passed away, and then the studio was on a preplanned hiatus, and the actors learned of his passing during the hiatus. New info from the video last night, is that some of what recently aired (such as June 3rd episode ) was taped *after* the hiatus, so after Drake passed away. Maybe I misunderstood what Martha Madison said, but it sounded that way. My god, I don't know how the actors filmed it, especially Diedre.

Staci Greason was in Paris during this live tribute, which would have been in the middle of the night where she was. So Fairman arranged to pretape Greason earlier in the same day, and then spliced her part into the end of the video after the live feed, and it's all on the same youtube.

On June 3, the actors did a live video tribute to Drake (Link). The memorial service airs week of June 9th. They said please tune in to watch, and don't despair, as there are some (relatively) lighthearted moments coming.

This was really amazing to watch. They said that a lot of stuff was filmed out-of-order, over a few weeks. John's memorial service was filmed a few days before Drake died, and then there was a prescheduled pause (the studio being dark for a haitus week). So they got the news of his passing during the break. But some of the recent stuff at John's bedside (such as his death) was filmed after that hiatus break, so not long after Drake died. 😢 I don't know how the actors got through it, especially Deidre. They said regarding episodes airing week of June 9th stuff, it will seem less dark to viewers, as there were some (relatively) lighthearted moments. (not giving spoilers here). But I guess Drake was still alive when those scenes were filmed, even though they knew he'd pass soon.

Thinking about where the current Cassadines are. Alexis, Molly, Kristina, and Scout are currently active on canvas. Technically, Ace is on canvas, although we never see him. Jake is in school in Spain? Valentin and Charlotte are currently off-canvas, I think? I've lost track. I thought Valentin was in a prison somewhere, but then I remember reading something about Charlotte, and deciding if she'd live with Valentin or Lulu, but I don't remember what was decided. I'm unclear on where Valentin is now. Nikolas is in prison. Did I miss anyone?

I guess tvinsider had it wrong. Tuesday May 27, Johnny spoke with Sami on the phone, and learned that Sami and Sydney were trying to fly in from Sicily, but were stopped by a volcanic eruption because the ash had grounded all the planes. Friday May 30, Will spoke with Sami on the phone, and learned that Sami and Sydney found another flight and will be here soon. Wednesday June 4, Will spoke with Sami on the phone, and learned that Sydney fell and broke her arm and/or collarbone at the airport, and needs surgery. It seems that Sami and Sydney aren't going to make it?
