Yesterday I thought Hayley had intentionally walked into and tripped on the box to instigate a fall, because I thought Hayley wanted to fake a miscarriage immediately. But now I think Hayley was planning to go through with the pregnancy with a surrogate in some convoluted scheme, or maybe planned to miscarry later on in the "pregnancy". Now I think differently. I don't think she wanted to trip and fall. But now that she has fallen, Bill insists on seeing a sonogram happening on live camera. So maybe now she's hastening her miscarriage plan all at once, and called the mystery person to help with that?

Hayley was startled because she was on the phone to whoever mysterious person she's been talking to about something secret -- presumably someone helping her with the fake pregnancy/miscarriage plot. Hayley was talking to the mystery person when Caroline walked in, so Hayley made up the birthday party right then as a cover for the phonecall. I think Hayley was still scared of being caught and so she made the birthday party plan into some new drama to cover how she was feeling. Yeah of course Caroline would help her, it's just that Hayley was caught off-guard.

It would be one thing if Bill felt that the killing of Kenny was something he'd not normally do, but did this one time because he felt it was an emergency. Difficult but understandable. I don't like that Bill is written to say he'd do any manipulation or crime or murder to protect his family, and that he'll justify any actions that way. That type of thing sounds like Sonny Corinthos whom I hate. Sonny Corinthos does *not* have a heart of gold, and I hate that type of writing on GH. Timon is a great actor, and he gives layers to Bill that other actors might not find. He's doing great and elevating the material. But the character of Bill justifying any and all actions is a *no* for me.

I used to like Andre a lot, but I just don't like him anymore. He's just trash now.

The Andre/Ashley scenes felt icky to me, not hot at all. Ugh.

Timon is such a great actor! Ellie Wang is great as Caroline, too.

Ha, I was starting to type that while you were posting. Dani already knows about Ashley/Andre. But Naomi doesn't know that Dani knows.

At the concert, Naomi was startled to see the Andre/Dani kiss. Part of that is because Naomi was one of the few family members that doesn't know about the Andre/Dani situationship. But part of it is because Naomi knows about Ashley/Andre, which the rest of the Duprees don't seem to know about. (well Andre told Nicole several months ago, but Chelsea and Kat don't know)

I *think* it says they're phasing out the hulu app, but not phasing out hulu itself? I don't use apps, because I'm visually limited and it's too hard for me to watch on a phone. I watch streaming shows on my desktop PC, so I don't think this would affect me, but I'm not sure?

I think this says that you can subscribe to hulu separately from disney+. It seems that (for now) it will just be *the apps* that are combined, but you can pay/subscribe separately if you want? Not sure if I'm reading it right.

She discusses various acting roles through the years, her dogs, and doing live theatre vs. television, actors she's worked with, etc. There's really nothing spoilerish except that she mentions she'll next appear on Days in September, with no details given. The reason for the interview is that she wrote a book which is being released August 6. The book details are in the section after the end of the interview.

I think Hayley was planning to continue her fake pregnancy for a while longer, and see the doctor tomorrow while Bill is out of town, so that he wouldn't be able to ask to watch the ultrasound happening live. The fact that he then scheduled an appointment for her early tomorrow morning and that he doesn't have to go out of town until later in the morning, means he'll be there with her. So now she's going to have to fake the miscarriage.

Depending on where you lived in the USA, and if your analog VHF tv station was "channel 6", you could listen to that channel 6 broadcast on FM radio stations that picked up that channel. I remember listening to soaps on the car radio FM station that corresponded with the nearest Channel 6 -- if you were near enough to pick up that radio band. Usually preferred to watch on TV but we'd listen on the radio if we were out on errands. According to wikipedia, this possibility existed for channel 6 analog VHF stations until 2009. But I don't remember being able to do this after the 1970s.

Have I missed something? When Tyrell's crush Jessica appeared last week, she'd been at Stanford for an early program. I wondered if it was for summer school. At first I wondered if the planning was thrown off by the preemptions for soccer -- but then remembered that date on the invitations for the Ted/Nicole anniversary party was off by only a day or two. But then I wondered about the unexpected preemption for the full week of June 30-July 4. They adjusted the dates on the tickets but that was an easy fix. However the dialogue for the teens seems off, and that was probably too difficult to adjust ... They said that Samantha and Tyrell needed to go home after the Articulettes reunion concert because they had school the next day. No talk of summer school so I think it's still the regular school year. Perhaps it it still June for the writers? Maybe Tyrell's crush Jessica just finished the spring semester at Stanford and is now home for the summer? I know some places in southern USA start the school year in early August. But Maryland follows the northeastern USA starting the school around Labor Day. We noticed that the trees around Kenny in the park had no leaves. We noted that there was no mention of Juneteenth which was really surprising. Maybe the writers decided to be nonspecific with time (except for dates on tickets) ? Errol did say that the show will acknowledge holidays later this year. But right now time seems vague except for event tickets.

I had wondered if they would have had time to adjust the props due to the unexpected one week of preemptions in early July. I see that they did indeed make that adjustment to edit that in, because the tickets say August 1st on them.

Seems like the last thing Ed Scott oversaw was Nikki's birthday party right before the France storyline began? The Genoa City sets that Ed Scott introduced were lovely. But the "France" sets with the hedges were absolutely hideous. Who was responsible for thinking the hedges were a good idea?
