  1. They did that with this article in August interviewing Sharon Case https://www.soapoperadigest.com/content/icymi-yrs-sharon-case-interview/ It's a summary of one section of what she said on the podcast in June.
  2. That interview is interesting in that it is a summary of the second half of the the Digest podcast interview with Kyle back in September. (The podcast talked about storylines airing then and other parts of his life. And then the second part of the podcast was about him leaving acting, moving to the Lake Tahoe region to be near his daughter, and getting a job as news anchor there.) The article in the print issue in October and then on the website - is a summary of everything he said in the podcast about why he moved and what his daily routine is like now, so it was not really "new", but it was newly typed.
  3. The actor spells his first name with a double "i". Justiin Davis
  4. I found two split episodes of GH in 2023... Monday, June 05, 2023 Episode #15235 Tuesday, June 06, 2023 Episode #15235A Wednesday, June 07, 2023 Episode #15236 Thursday, June 08, 2023 Episode #15237 Friday, June 09, 2023 preempted Trump indictment-Florida Some markets got rerun of #14924 (March 1, 2022) Monday, June 12, 2023 Episode #15238 Tuesday, June 13, 2023 preempted Trump arrest/arraignment -Florida Some markets got rerun of #14966 (April 29, 2022) Wednesday, June 14, 2023 Episode #15239 Thursday, June 15, 2023 Episode #15240 Friday, June 16, 2023 Episode #15240A I don't know why they did that but it seems to have been around the time that the final episodes would have aired that were written before the writers strike? Maybe they wanted to do the same pattern as the split episodes in 2020? But they didn't do it after that, so I don't know. So that's a total of six "A" episodes. Four in 2020 and two in 2023.
  5. @JAS0N47 did you see this one, too? That's two "A" episodes, The one that Casey K mentioned and this one.
  6. @BoldRestless asked about episode numbers on another thread. It was about Bold episode numbers on the bold thread, so I replied there. Here is my reply to the side question about GH episode numbers: This is what I have: There were four GH "A" episodes in April/May 2020. These were created by taking prefilmed episodes and editing repeated (recent flashback) scenes into them to make the episodes twice as long and then splitting them into two episodes. This was to created filler after they stopped filming for the COVID break, to stretch out the airing of what was already filmed into the summer. So for four weeks they had four episodes split in two. And then they also had repeats on Fridays from prior years. That helped stretch the already-filmed episodes out by a couple of weeks before they went entirely into all reruns for the next couple of months. _______________________ The first split episode was the retcon of Carly and Nelle's past. https://www.soapoperanetwork.com/2020/04/general-hospital-carly-laura-wright-eden-mccoy This was supposed to be a single episode but it aired over two days, as #14519 and 14519A. And the abc.com episode thumbnail photos show these episode numbers. Wednesday, April 08, 2020 #14519 split episode Thursday, April 09, 2020 # 14519A split episode _______________________ The second split episode was Violet's birthday party, stretched into two episodes full of flashbacks of recent convos. Wednesday, April 15, 2020 #14522 split episode Thursday, April 16, 2020 #14522A split episode _______________________ The third episode expanded into two, had some Mike Corbin scenes. Episode originally scheduled for Thurs April 23, 2020. This was split into two episodes and then padded with flashbacks. Began Thursday April 23, continues Monday April 27. This was during the time when Fridays were reruns from prior years, so that's why the new episode began Thursday and completed on the coming Monday. -Sonny confides in Jason. 4/23/2020 (about Mike) -Sam crosses Brando. 4/23/2020 -Jordan contemplates resigning. 4/23/2020 -Alexis’ day goes from bad to worse. 4/27/2020 (re: law license) -Lulu gets a surprising phone call. 4/27/2020 (from Diane) Thursday, April 23, 2020 #14526 split episode Friday, April 24, 2020 (repeat from 2018) Monday, April 27, 2020 #14526A split episode _______________________ And the fourth split episode The spoiler line-items came from previously-written episode descriptions, later changed -- due to scenes being reassigned to different episodes. 7. Another cool trick to find old episode numbers is to go to archive.org, and then enter https://www.cbs.com/shows/the_bold_and_the_beautiful/ into the archive.org search, and then select the month around the time you are researching, and if you are lucky you can do the source-code trick to get the episode number from the URL of the episode cover photo. I've done this for Y&R same way And also for https://abc.com/shows/general-hospital
  8. (Yes for Y&R November 3, 2023 I have 12739) GH is actually Episode #15335 for Nov. 3, 2023. GH is off by five episode numbers because ... There were four "A" episodes in April/May 2020 and one "A" episode in June 2023. I will give details on the GH thread because it's complicated.

  10. nope. If you go to the cbs.com or paramountplus.com website, and look at the source code for the episode list, it shows the episode number inside the URLs for the cover photos of each episode. I've been religiously tracking the episode numbers of BB,YR,GH since 2018 -- comparing what I know with the episode cover photos for verification. Also you can go to the paramountpressexpress websites for Y&R and B&B and they have some episodic photos withe episode numbers attached. https://www.paramountpressexpress.com/cbs-entertainment/shows/the-bold-and-the-beautiful/episodes/ Well okay the Bregman/Osmond picture is mislabeled as 9171 -- all the pics listed as 9171 are not from episode 9171. But the BTS pic of 9135 is Oct 26, 2023. And the BTS pic of Andrea in Italy is 9049 from June 26. (It was filmed when he was touring Los Angeles but they made it seem as if he was in Italy) And all the other Italy photos on the paramountpress site match the episode numbers I have in my spreadsheet.

  14. Thorsten Kaye as Ridge reacting to RJ telling him Eric was dying ... totally flat. I mean RJ could have been telling him that the price of blue silk fabric was up by one cent per yard. No emotion that I could see. TK's voice got slightly louder but I didn't see any feeling.

  16. @JAS0N47 can you shed some light on EJ's name? What is his legal name? I thought it was Elvis John DiMera. But the during the wedding vows of Nov. 2, 2023 episode, both the officiant Chad and the groom EJ said "Elvis Junior DiMera". I thought he was named (or planned to be named) as John Black Jr. when Kristen had the suberfuge going that it was her child by John. Meanwhile Susan thought Elvis Presley was the father due to Stefano's costume, so she (privately) thought of him as Elvis Aron Presley Jr. Then when it was revealed that the baby was the son of Susan and Stefano, he was renamed various things. But then I thought a compromise name of "Elvis John DiMera" was finally arrived at? But Jason's Days Births page says : "Elvis DiMera (parents: Susan Banks & Stefano DiMera, via artificial insemination; born at University Hospital; delivered by Dr. David Robbins; originally named John Black Jr. by John Black & Kristen Blake) " https://www.jason47.com/days/daysbirths.html That page has no middle name at all. I found this from the archive of bethsdayspage, subsection "children who grew up in Salem" Dillon, Avalon, and Vincent Ragone played young Elvis 1997-1998 https://web.archive.org/web/20080202210404/http://www.childrenofsalem.com:80/days/kids/ragone/ragone1.html Beth has them as "Elvis Aron Banks DiMera". @JAS0N47 has the Ragone siblings credited as "Elvis Banks" on his site. (no middle name) I also found this: "MATTHEW BOTUCHIS Teenage Elvis Banks 1997" https://www.jason47.com/days/castlist1.html And then of course in 2006, James Scott debuted in the role using the character name "E.J. Wells".
  17. That is my assumption/speculation, too.
  18. https://www.instagram.com/p/CzKbkZHvssi/ stephen_e_nichols This is something I was hoping I would not have to write about, another young man taken. A sweet natured man. An Ohio boy like me. A man who had his demons — another thing we had in common. A young man I called son for the early part of our time together. Not this one! Tyler and I met when I visited his dressing room on the day he was about to camera test for the role of Nikolas Cassadine, my “son/nephew” on General Hospital. We went over the scene a few times. He was very green and eager, and he had a kind of grace and a connection to the heart of the material that was special. I felt connected to him immediately. I can’t say enough about the beauty of Tyler Christopher’s work. He was an actor who was all instinct and spontaneity. It seemed effortless for him. I knew I wanted to work with him. I knew he would make me better. Our Journey on GH spanned around seven years. In the beginning, he asked for advice, and I offered Michael Chekov’s Book, To The Actor, which had inspired me when I was starting out. Tyler gave so much to every scene. We connected in a deep way and lifted each other up. I know he was proud of the work he did even though he continued to look to me for approval. I reassured him that he was “there” and to keep doing what he was doing. I called him “Baby Brando”. He always laughed about that, but I wasn’t joking. I can only imagine how much more could have been. I know that over the years Tyler had addiction issues. I understood and told him so. We talked about it and checked in over the years but never really got deep into the subject of recovery. I regret that. When I asked how he was doing, he would generally say, “good…fine.” Some 20 years later, after several nominations, Tyler stood on that stage, with his Emmy in hand, and held up the book I had given him. I was thrilled for him, and so touched and honored that he had mentioned our early connection. (Continued in comment) ---------- Link to comment: ttps://www.instagram.com/p/CzKbkZHvssi/c/17963376866512147/ Comment: stephen_e_nichols – continued I had heard about Tyler’s troubles during his time on General Hospital. I checked in with him and he assured me he was fine. In 2017, a few months before he started on Days of Our Lives, Tyler called and asked if he could meet me for lunch. He flew in from the Midwest. He told me he had been having a hard time and he was now sober and working to stay that way. He said needed to take care of his kids and he needed a job. I advocated for him, and it took a while, but he finally came over to Days. As usual, Tyler was doing remarkable work, but I could tell that he was unsettled. Again, when I asked how he was doing he said he was good. Looking back, I now know he wasn't. My own family was affected by addiction and alcoholism. I have been fortunate to have survived all these years. I don’t take it for granted, and this great loss of this sweet man reminds me of how important it is to reach out to others who are suffering with these demons. I know how desperately Tyler loved his children and wanted to be with them and provide for them. When we met, they were all he could talk about. I hope that his children and family members, friends, those who are feeling this great loss will, with the passage of time, find peace. My heart aches, but all I wish for now, sweet Tyler, is that you are finally at peace. We won’t soon forget you.
  19. Rikaart is appearing on Y&R for just a Thanksgiving episode. SOD likes to sensationalize its covers. And I guess this will be one of the last print issues?
  20. November 2, 2023 Climate budget issues on the House floor right now.... Republicans propose a 39% cut to the EPA, all while undermining efforts to curb CO2 emissions. The National Park Service is among the most popular government agencies, fueling local economies across the country while bringing people and families together. So what do House Republicans want to do? Gut it, slashing their funding by almost half a BILLION dollars. In a little more than five years – sometime in early 2029 – the world will likely be unable to stay below the internationally agreed temperature limit for global warming if it continues to burn fossil fuels at its current rate, a new study says. https://apnews.com/article/warming-carbon-climate-change-too-late-943b4b34bff5110631c2e02f5cdf7d68 And right now, House Republicans are forcing a vote on a bill that guts climate funding and will make our planet uninhabitable. It's almost as if they're trying to inflict the most damage possible on our environment. Congresswoman Chellie Pingree @chelliepingree I am on the House floor pushing back on 131 ‼️ extreme Republican amendments to the 2024 interior appropriations bill. I’ll be leading this debate for @HouseDemocrats even if it goes past midnight. Watch here (and send coffee)! ☕️ Rep. Betty McCollum @BettyMcCollum04 Republicans’ extreme FY 24 Interior-Environment funding bill makes devastating cuts that would severely impact our ability to combat climate change—affecting not only the health & safety of all our communities, but also putting the U.S. at a global disadvantage.
  21. JJ's is in full at the top of previous page. https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/65391-tyler-christopher-has-passed/?do=findComment&comment=1877034 I posted Constance Towers' one minute before you did, just above yours, so we were posting at same time.
  22. https://www.facebook.com/ActressConstanceTowers/photos/841435974648161 Actress Constance Towers Remembering #TylerChristopher... "Tyler Christopher played my grandson, Nikolas, on #gh for many years. My character, Helena Cassadine is lethal, evil, without compassion for anyone... except her grandson. She only makes a mistake when a decision concerns Nikolas, her Achilles heel. The joy of having Tyler as that grandson made the role so easy to play. He was the nicest, sweetest, most caring young man. It was tragic to watch him battle with his demons but so gratifying to see him winning the battle. I loved him and will miss him. One of my lasting memories of Tyler occurred on the set one day as we were about to shoot a scene. A little voice said "Dad?" Surprised we stopped and realized it was his six year old son whom he had brought to work with him that day. Tyler stepped forward not knowing what to expect and in the most gentle of voices asked "What is it son?" "I just had to say I love you dad." Tyler hugged him and no one objected. His patient and loving way touched all of us... even the toughest of executives.
