The taping schedule allowed Greg Vaughan to spent almost all of summer 2023 at his home in Texas with his sons. Maybe one or two visits to L.A. to tape. It allowed Jessica Serfaty to spend almost all of summer 2023 with her son and her fiancé in Italy. She took one or two trips to LA on her billionaire fiancé's private jet to film in L.A. but otherwise she was mostly in Italy (and nearby areas of Europe).

Regarding the envelope containing the reprint of the DNA analysis: When Nicole received it, nothing was written on the envelope. After she brought it into the DiMansion, she set it down for a second. As people sometimes write notes on empty envelopes laying around, EJ picked it up and started to write on the envelope, but at some point, Nicole stopped him and told him that it contained the report, so he stopped writing immediately and had written only a few characters/letters, or part of a word. Meanwhile, Sloan was outside the DiMansion observing this through a window or glass door. So she created a disturbance (or rang the doorbell or something) at the front door so EJ would go to the front door. He set down the pen/pencil and the envelope in the livingroom and went to the door. And while EJ was at the front door, she slipped in through the patio door into the DiMansion living room and swapped the envelopes. The scene intentionally did NOT show if Sloan noted the scribble on the envelope or not. Did she see that? Did she grab the pen/pencil next to the envelope to quickly write something similar on the exchanged envelope? We were not shown. It was only a few seconds with the camera away. She slipped out the patio door. We don't even know if she properly switched the envelopes, or if she only *thought* she'd switched them, but didn't due to being in a hurry. A few seconds later, EJ returned from the front door and went back to the envelope and commented that since Nicole had just told him its importance, he was putting it in the safe, and he did. It was not shown if he looked closely at the envelope before putting it in the safe... so we don't know if he noticed if there was writing on it or not. (or even if there was any writing) Sloan returned to her apartment and pulled an envelope out of her purse and destroyed it. Presumably she destroyed the envelope containing the real results. Presumably the envelope in the DiMansion safe is the one that Sloan brought containing fake results. This is Sloan so, if written true to character she would have been careful and calculating and done the switch correctly -- but the show will write anything to service a plot. The camerawork was intentionally ambiguous.

I didn't start watching B&B until 2016 with the Avants. I've never seen this writing for Brooke as the intelligent scientist. That writing is much more interesting that what's airing now.

Maura West scenes with Roger were good because of Maura. Not because of Roger. He responded to her excellence. I think she carried the scenes.

I bet this is when the combined storyline came together.

I refused to watch it, so I was going by what I gathered from reading recaps. Several recaps said that the rapist claimed he wasn't attempting rape, or he tried to explain what rape is and claimed that he wasn't doing that. Whatever actually aired, I don't know, but if it was close to that, it's very offensive.

WHILE the investigation into the abusive fired EP was going on, today's episode was taped, and in this episode, a character sexually assaulted another character. The script was written by the firedguy's wife. I read the spoiler article from the actress on the SOD website, so I was forewarned, and then I checked for recaps before watching today. It did air so I chose not to watch. According to several recaps: Gil tries to rape Ava, and she barely stops him, and then Gil debates the definition of rape and says it wasn't that? How the heck did this air? Oh right, because Kenny left the firedguy in charge. (and because Ron)

Sheri was an advisor when Ron first started but that didn't continue. Per Jason47, Sheri was credited as "story consultant" for episodes airing July 19, 2017 - Jan. 17, 2019. Then Ryan Quan became Ron's story consultant after that. But Ron has his own ideas. What's airing now is the last several weeks of material written by Ron/Ryan and team -- before the writers strike material begins airing. Agree. We posted at the same time. Colleen clarifies the timing in SOD, see my post just above yours. Also she said in that SOD interview that she's been trying to learn how to navigate her way around the CBS studios building. Plus lots of Y&R and B&B cast continue to post pics of themselves inside and outside the CBS studios building.

There was no context to what Colleen said in the soaps.com(soaps.sheknows) interview. It could have been interpreted either that she started taping in August, or that she began discussing it in August. It was unclear. But NEW article out this morning (Nov. 20) on SOD website: She got an email from JG in early August, and phoned him within 15 minutes. But she specified that "Jordan is pretty intense.
