Regarding the mobster storyline: The scripts, the cardroom set, and the writing for Joey -- are all terrible. They seem to be writing a realistic depiction of compulsive gambling as an addiction, showing that it pops into his head all the time -- it has become hardwired into his brain. The APA (American Psychological Association) describes compulsive gambling as having a similar effect on the physical brain as drug and alcohol addiction. https://www.apa.org/monitor/2023/07/how-gambling-affects-the-brain I think Jason Graham (Doug) is doing an adequate job playing Doug as a compulsive gambler, with the thoughts/urges coming into his head all the time, and being unable to stop. However, the cardroom set is awful and the mobster storyline is a bad cliché, so it's all so uninteresting to watch. I think Mr. Graham is doing the best he can with the crap they gave him to work with. If anyone reading or watching has a gambling issue, check out Gamblers Anonymous. They have many types of meetings -- in-person, online, video, audio, etc. They also have resources for friends/family of compulsive gamblers.

Actually I think Ashley has OCPD, not OCD. OCPD: Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder OCD: Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Different diagnoses which unfortunately have similar names. And it doesn't really matter here, since this is a fictional character... and the show is highlighting Ashley's obsession with controlling every aspect of things.

I hadn't been posting spoiler pics recently, because it's been the same "Forrester-Logan day" (in-universe same day for the characters) for a few weeks of episodes, so everyone was in the same wardrobe and most of the pics looked similar, LOL. SOD has a pic of Carter on their "record-this" page for week of May 19, but it's old. The original image URL on the SOD website says "JPI_Episode9524" https://www.soapoperadigest.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/JPI_Episode9524_0002131309.jpg Episode #9542 aired on Wed. May 14th. However, he's likely wearing same wardrobe Monday May 19th, so whatever, LOL.

They said that this has metastasized to his bones, but the type of "aggressive" prostate cancer he has is actually very common and is treatable, or at least manageable. So the headline is misleading. Apparently this type of cancer is hormonal which makes it somewhat treatable? But still, of course, sad. Thinking of him and his loved ones.

For the Nurses Ball, I don't like what GH has done in recent years having U/5 professional dancers in the back of all the staged numbers -- nobody we recognize but they are wearing medical garb wardrobe as they dance alongside the GH characters. I'd prefer to see only the GH characters dancing and singing imperfectly.

Oh that's a good point! I was saying only that I'd prefer that the product placement not be heavily featured by the cameraperson during a stressful scene, because it takes me out of the moment. I don't mind it being part of the background of scenes -- most of the time, I like it. I saw a similar tweet from another BTG viewer that said something along the lines of Tide being for when there is (emotional) mess to clean up... and Febreze is for the calming after the mess.
