Today was another one of those days where whoever wrote the episode had no understanding of the characters of EJ and Nicole. The pissing contest with Gabi/Stefan really needs to end. As for Colin and that whole storyline, today was a little formulaic for everyone but I enjoyed those scenes. Btw, where was Rafe going with those evil eyebrows in his scenes at the pub? 😂😂

They could definitely do that, but I just feel like they choose not to. Like the current storyline; so much of it is taking place offscreen. It’s like you can’t even call it a C-story. I would much rather have seen Shawn all broken up about Bo instead of just hearing about it. Yeah, I can see how their acting styles can be limited lol but a few other actors are limited as well and we see them, and every aspect of their storylines.

Damn, I want to buy this book too lol I’ve heard some of the stories from it, like JR and Maureen (Valene) But all the stuff about Miss Ellie and this Bond character is totally new to me. She showed up again in Season 8. It turned out she was the one who had the documents that said Jock was the sole owner of Ewing Oil, and that Jason and Digger didn’t each own a third of it.

True, Belle is judgey. But I wish they would establish it more as to why she is the way that she is/why she does the things that she does. The way they write for her so weird; like they want her to drive story but then they don’t. It doesn’t even feel like it has to do with MM’s availability.

That’s true, but that’s not what she’s getting dragged for. She’s getting dragged because if it were anybody else, someone she didn’t like, someone she disagreed with politically, she’d be on Twitter screaming like a psychopath about how they should be fired and sent to prison. Considering the fake name that Colin used and Eric and Belle’s petty bitchfight, I think today was a Jamey episode. Belle’s crazy hatred of Sloan and hard on for Paulina and Chanel will never make any sense. If she was more subtle about it, it would be understandable but they write it as so over the top. You know what would be a good reason for Belle’s hatred of Sloan: if she had slept with Shawn while they were on the outs over Belle’s affair with EJ 😂😂 I don’t really get Marlena’s dislike of Sloan either. And, is it just me or has this whole storyline kind of changed Abe? He seems to have been written out of character a lot.

Is it just me or has Nicole sounded hoarse in her last few episodes? Today was good, but not much happened. It seemed to be one of those episodes where stuff was set up for the rest of the week. I wonder if Sloan lying to Eric is going to cause any problems between them. Colin looked good clean shaven too 😂😂

I just hope we find out why the end of the story was botched so badly. In the last couple of years, they’ve approved some of the worst storylines I’ve ever seen on this show but they didn’t approve something good like the popular couple (who’s return was promoted like crazy) getting their happily ever after? I don’t get it

IIRC, they had an affair back in the 70s. And that Ivan hypnotized her to forget about it and the babies because Stefano was so dangerous or something like that. As for Quinn, didn’t he go off with Nicole’s sister? Very stupid lol just as stupid as the current Bo/Hope storyline continuing without Bo and Hope. You’re right 😂 I have no idea why all that took place offscreen It would be worth if it brings Bo and Hope though
