That New Orleans/Oak Alley shoot was great for Days. And, poor AW, not even Julia’s murder and the mystery of Donna being Marley’s mother did anything for them. People seemed to have been getting tired of Santa Barbara as well.

All these blunders seem to be all part of an even bigger problem that AW had post-Lemay/Rauch. There was never a lot of investment in some characters. So many characters were put through so much and then a new writer/producer came on, they either completely changed them or sent them packing.

I think this is the latest version He was born John Robicheaux during the Korean War. His mother had been told that his father had been killed in action. And she couldn’t afford to raise him on her own, so she put him in an orphanage where he was adopted by the Alamains and they named him Forrest. Turned out the father was alive and had become a Communist determined to hurt the West or something lol and took the name Yo Ling. As part of the plan, he started the school for assassins. Eventually, he found out his son was Forrest Alamain and him and the school paid or forced the Alamains to give them custody of John. So, the Alamains faked John’s death in the swimming pool and sent him off to the school. John ended up being the best student. One of the employees at the school was Petrov. Eventually, Petrov left the school to go work for Stefano and took John with him. John also went to work for Stefano, first as a ruthless mercenary, then as an art thief disguised as a priest. And then finally, brainwashed into being Roman 😂😂

Today was an improvement over yesterday. Just the storylines themselves made this episode better. Clearly, yesterday’s main storyline is a failure on every level. Welcome to Salem, Dick Van Dyke! It’s so great to see him working again. He really is a national treasure. And I actually enjoyed the little *wink**wink* to Mary Poppins too. I have mixed feelings about what his storyline may turn out to be. I don’t necessarily hate it, but it’s been done before, so many times already. Can’t wait to see Monday’s episode again 😂😂 For the first time in a while, I actually found Abe’s storyline interesting as well. His reaction today to Paulina and the date that they had just seems so natural and organic considering everything he’s been through. I do wish we could have seen their date though. I also really liked the ending of today as well. Despite the casting rumors, I think this could be a really good storyline for Brady and everyone around him. Kristen and her demon spawn still can just go away 🖕😂😂

That could have been really good, but by that point, I think Margaret DePriest was pretty much done with Bill and Susan. They didn't even get a proper exit. For pretty much their entire last episode, they were secondary characters in Liz's storyline

STFU, Joss!! You knew what you were signing up for when you whored yourself out to Dex, and now you have the balls to get upset over his job. Please 🖕🖕 Dex, I think it's well past time for you to dump her ass. And production wise, I'm so glad that GH listened to the fans about Adam Huss.

And now that they've gotten rid of the toxicity behind the scenes, maybe they'll get rid of it onscreen as well #JanetPlease 🙏

What a month August was for us Days fans 😂 Some of the best episodes we’ve seen in a long time, some of the worst episodes we’ve seen in a long time and an absolutely gorgeous and talented actor being wasted in a horrible storyline #PoorPeter

I think today was this week’s Jamey episode 🤮🤮 I literally got nothing except the Belle/Brady/Philip/Chloe/Xander stuff was ok. @j swift the difference is that Paul Lynde actually was funny. And the characters he played weren’t awful, heartless POS’ that weren’t always written as the heroes or the one in the right even though they’re awful. I don’t think it has much to do with stereotypes, at least for me anyway. My hatred of Leo is similar to my hatred of Joss on GH. Maybe I’m wrong for feeling this way, but I don’t think awful people who do awful things to people who don’t deserve it should get to live happily ever after with the gorgeous man that they’re with. I think they deserve to suffer.

For Days, it started during the week of the 30th, and ended the following week when Days hit #3 in the ratings

Mixed feelings about it lol On the same level, I do think she does deserve this. But at the same time, I find what’s being done to her so awful and so disgusting that I do kind of feel bad for her. Two reasons: Ron’s obsession with Leo and his obvious belief that gay actors can only play gay characters, which is kinda stupid, imo.

This sounds so familiar to me 😂😂😂 I don’t understand what the purpose is for Gladys. I never have and I never will. I don’t even know what else they can do with her after this storyline ends

Alright, Days! The climax of the Salem Slasher really helped. Poor AW though. Not even the 20th anniversary and Jacqueline Courtney’s return helped much

Welcome back, Sonny! We’ve missed you 😊😊 Too bad most of his scenes were with Leo. But at least Sonny let him know what a narcissistic POS he is. I still say Sonny and Tripp need to come together, defend their cousin Gwen and beat Leo to a bloody pulp 😂😂 And at least Sonny got a scene with Alex. Him and RSW always did have good brother chemistry. And I love that we were able to see the photos of Victor and his family as Sonny and Alex went through the photo album. As for the plan that Leo came up with for Dimitri… considering I said “What the f*ck” out loud as they discussed it, I’ll pass. Someone please end this pathetic excuse for a storyline. Peter Porte, and even Camila Banus and Brandon Barash deserve so much better than this.

Decent episode today. I liked seeing Philip’s confession and Brady’s reaction to it, though I wonder how Philip was able to do all that crap to Brady without anybody seeing him. But yeah, that punch was terrible 😂😂 Choreographed so badly, which is surprising because Days is usually good with punches. I hope Philip’s returned is used well. This could have so many effects on so many characters and couples, especially Shawn and Belle. I hope Shawn and Belle continue to have a storyline. His scenes with Marlena were good today, but there’s still so much they could do with them. Hopefully, they’ll get something to do until

On the one hand, it’s gonna be great seeing Blair/KD again. But on the other hand, this guy really needs to let OLTL go. Imagine the budget they’d have if they didn’t have 10000 cast members 😂😂
