I don’t know what it is about yesterday and today. It just seemed like there was something missing from both episodes. I did like the gloves coming off between Sarah and Kate though. Kate was 100% correct and I wish that part of the storyline was continuing. The hit man was so pointless and unnecessary and the actor reminded me of that Carmine guy who was trying to kill Jake 😂😂 As for Chloe and Philip going to New York, I think it would make more sense if Philip was the one who made the offer, and the show could’ve hinted at a reunion between them instead of having Chloe suddenly be in love with Philip again. Just like with a lot of stuff with Chloe lately, they all needed to do a better job at establishing it

Today was another one of those weird ones. I really hate when they time jump in the middle of an episode. If I wanted prime time pacing, I’d watch a prime time show. And I’ll never understand why a show that’s written and taped so far ahead of time always has exits that feel so rushed. I don’t mind EJ taking a darker turn, but I agree with @j swift it was so sudden and random. That should have been the storyline from the very beginning, or at least held off until EJ found out he wasn’t the father of the baby. You can say the same thing about Chloe and her sudden, random renewed feelings for Philip. And maybe I’m nitpicking about this one, but if Edmund was holding everyone hostage in his apartment, why did Harris come bursting through the apartment entrance door? 😂😂

The turning point of the storyline: they start fighting each other and then one thing leads to another… 😂😂 Could have a huge effect on the character of Andrew, which I feel we still need to know more about.

Well, have you seen Dimitri? 😍😂😂 The story writes itself: after Leo dies (for real, no chance of coming back) Andrew (after breaking up with Paul) moves back to Salem on an ISA mission determined to take Dimitri down. So, Dimitri then starts plotting to take Andrew down. Eventually, they realize that even though they dislike each other, they’re also attracted to each other. And you play that tension between the two of them for all that you can. Or even better, have it be revealed that Andrew and Dimitri did have a relationship when Dimitri was in the ISA and that he feels that Andrew is the one that got away. Which could explain why he was so “in love” with Leo: because he was trying to get over the true love of his life 😂😂

This London stuff could be so much better than what it is, but it was nice to see Tripp basically telling Rafe what a lousy cop he is 😂😂 And now that Tripp is in London, this would be a really good time for Wendy to have some scenes with Johnny. Shawn/Belle was the best part of today though. I felt we really got good insight as to the way each character was feeling. Martha and Brandon did really well too But at the same time, I also gotta say, Belle…

Agree 100% Who would’ve thought that a relationship with Leo would be more character assassinating then trying to kill every Days character in Beyond Salem 😂 It just sucks because Peter Porte is so talented, and charismatic. And just so friggin gorgeous 😍😂 He has such an amazing acting range and can play pretty much anything they give him and they give him this. You’re right. In some ways, it would be better for everybody if Dimitri was killed off. But as much I love Pandrew, an Andrew and Dimitri pairing is still my dream storyline Worst gay soap character ever. Unpopular opinion, but even worse than Daniel Colson on OLTL

Yeah… Leo just needs to die. Hopefully Janet makes it happen. I’m so tired of him. And I’m getting really tired of soaps and soap writers who have such raging hard ons for the worst characters on their shows. It’s just such a fucked up message to convey. Emily O’Brien did really well today, but of course, her performance had to be cut short due to the hard on for Leo. I did like Shawn/Jada today though. She was actually nice 😂😂 They really should have explored some kind of relationship between Shawn/Jada. That was a missed opportunity.

Sprina!! 😊😊😊😊 The rest of the episode was ok, but there a few things that made me laugh when I thought about it. Friggin Liz was talking about how busy she was today yet suddenly had the time to join Finn in the shower? Not a good look for ya, Nurse Webber (not Baldwin) And all the long breaks that Mayor Laura takes, she must get ripped to the shreds by the press 😂😂

Today was an improvement over yesterday. And the cliffhanger? Damn lol I really didn’t expect it. And if what may happen actually does happen, Leo and Dimitri definitely do deserve it. I still think Peter Porte was totally wasted, his character in general and the pairing with Leo 🤮 Speaking of that POS, I’m looking forward to Monday and I really, really hope we’re not let down. Too bad Gwen said to Kristen that she doesn’t want to kill anybody though lol Switching gears, see ya Sonny! We’ll miss you and hope to see you again soon. I still can’t believe that even with Zach’s schedule, they managed to get him to have a scene with Leo. Not that many family scenes, no scenes with Chad or Paul and Andrew (btw where’d they go) but scenes with Leo. This show and its priorities. I did enjoy his scenes today. Literally the best thing about Alex since he showed up was that relationship he had with Sonny. Today was a great example of that and it would be pretty stupid to squander it. There are a lot of rumors floating around about this storyline and I really hope they turn out to be true. And WTG, Maggie! I couldn’t help but laugh a little when she sent Vivian packing.
