  1. So is Bo just brainwashed? Seems like an easy fix.
  2. Granted I'm a tourist, but I was impressed with what I've seen of how they transitioned Christine into an adult role in the '90s. I'm sure it was overbearing but I thought she worked with Doug early on at least. I know they were tired by the time of the rape. LLB seems to want to be there and be invested. It's a shame what's happened with DD but he did it partly to himself. I don't see an issue with using her.
  3. Valentin has been sobbing his way through scenes for the better part of a decade. Anna and Valentin are a living ad for strap-ons. I think they're intending to run the anniversary event through May sweeps. Still, it would've been nice to do a montage sooner.
  4. They absolutely are and I think we've known that for awhile now.
  5. Oh dammit. I feared this was coming, especially watching so much of her classic work lately. What a loss. There's no way to stop them, but I am so tired of these.
  6. Vee replied to Errol's topic in SOAPSLINE
@Errol - @Darn has alerted me that he changed his email but hasn't yet received any confirmation email so he's currently locked out. FYI. I changed mine some time ago before this so I should be good.
  7. This is how the Sunday shows always are.
  8. National media largely reports most on what white male urban centrist-right reporters and their producers think people in their idealized "real America" will care about vs. what they actually do. Last year (and not just last year) proved that with many, many, many Beltway journalists insisting abortion would not matter, and that the economy as defined by Republicans was the main issue on the ballot. They were wrong. They still are. They will be again. Such are our times and our media.
  9. Oh, that's rich.
  10. Someday, maybe in 5 or 10 or 20 years, we're gonna break the back of the gun lobby, pass real legislation that starts to put this era in the rear view and we'll finally be able to look back at all this differently. That's the only solace I take.
  11. This dude went crazy so fast, but I didn't know he was this crazy.
  12. Yeah, Taibbi's already crumbling and ruined rep will be worse off from this (despite my own many issues with Hasan). Speaking of indignity, I stumbled upon this not long ago and now you have to watch it too:
  13. The consequences are they keep losing cycles. There's never going to be a real civil war.
  14. I said it the other day. Across the country, the GOP has seized just enough power to live some of their worst dreams but now they're going to have to live with the electoral consequences. This won't go away any more than abortion has. And In Wisconsin:
  15. I'm surprised Sam Behrens' Jake was never brought back. He seemed to have built a real home and family with Bobbie, then from what I've read and watched it appears Scott conspired to keep them apart. Suddenly she was married to Tony and that whole part of her life was totally forgotten.
  16. It's giving Beth Ehlers' "nerd" disguise on GL fooling her ex-husband.
  17. Oh, TN is no easy fight for sure lol.
  18. I think they will. Like Roe, I don't think the GOP has fully grasped how much catching the car on several issues has seriously crippled them.
  19. The white guy is doing that? Please keep this post up. I need it in my life. Here, I'll screencap it for you. Too late, dude!
  20. There's a half dozen people on this board who regularly post tweets in lieu of msgs. It's not necessarily my favorite thing at times but jane is far from an offender AFAIC. And coming from a guy who regularly throws tantrums, makes egregious errors and then edits his post to avoid further humiliation I'm not having it. If it's a question of whose content I'd rather engage with it or find valuable it's no contest.
