It was also the unpredictable Hispanic vote - the Democrats lost traction with Hispanic males in this election, they need to do a postmortem on why that happened and why Trump resonated so strongly with that group this time around.

White women and working class Hispanics came out for Trump it seems. Again, very sad and disheartening.- The Politics Thread
Racism and misogyny run deep in this country that so many people would rather vote for a convicted criminal who had a disastrous previous term as president.- The Politics Thread

Working class Hispanic voters came out for Trump across the board this time it seems. That’s …. really unfortunate- The Politics Thread
Oh boy, hearing Trump has picked up steam with Hispanic voters in Pennsylvania this time around. That’s not good. 🤬- The Politics Thread
Not necessarily, the heavy Democrat-leaning counties in those states aren’t close to finished with counting votes yet.- The Politics Thread
Again, we need to hope Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania all stay blue. If just one slips, it’s over for the Harris campaign.- The Politics Thread
Basically, we better hope like hell none of them flip to that [!@#$%^&*].- The Politics Thread
Just hoping none of the “blue wall” flips right now…- The Politics Thread
Ohio is a good consolation if she can't win GA.- The Politics Thread

Not to go further down the spoiler route, but I will say that MG has been great in this weird story and gave a really solid performance in tomorrow's US episode.- GH: November 2024 Discussion Thread

Also, they just don’t have the budget anymore to be as future forward as they used to be. It’s all about working quickly and cheaply now - I assume Scott was brought back to make those edges less “rough” as they needed someone with a particular skillset to do that.- The Politics Thread
Hoping Women, African Americans, Latinx, and other historically disenfranchised communities vote in droves today. They’re the only hope to keep democracy alive, even if said democracy has never truly empowered them to give a damn.- Y&R: Old Articles

It's flopping right out the gate, much like her movie career right now after back to back flops with House of Gucci and Joker: Folie à Deux . #27 debut on the Hot 100 this week.- Y&R: Ed Scott Returns As Senior Producer
It was hilarious when he said “we need that!” - seems like there has been a lack of oversight for a long time there and Scott was hired to fill that void.- Y&R: November 2024 Discussion Board
That scene in tomorrow’s US episode also ended almost like an old-school scene with the music (granted, not classic Y&R music) blaring and Phyllis making an over the top proclamation, lol. Only thing missing was the old way they did the EP credits after the fade to black. Here it is for those who want to see it ahead of tomorrow: https://x.com/yogachampagne/status/1853543537574371340- Y&R: Ed Scott Returns As Senior Producer
Joshua Morrow talks about Ed’s return at the 1:13 mark - he says Ed cares so much about the quality of the show and his attention to detail about things like lighting and giving feedback to the actors. - The Politics Thread
