Very good throwbacks. That occurred to me as well re: Victor's kids all in one place. That is soooo rare so it does stand out more. I just thought that was me. lol. It also didn't help that Victor started his speech before Adam even show up so I just figured he was not going to show. Yeah, I can give JG that at least. When he tries for nostalgia, he actually does a good job. But he just needs to try for MORE. Yeah, this week actually got a promo so I suspect it will be a good (and dramatic?) week. I know I can't wait to get home to watch. It's been a minute since I've had that feeling.

11-11 3 for 3 on good episodes in a row!!! There was so much giving that Y&R feel. The opening alone with Victor coming down the stairs with Nikki playing the piano. And there was this awesome angle of the camera over Victor's shoulder as he stood by the piano watching Nikki play. As mentioned, there was another one of Daniel/Christine at the GCAC with the camera aimed past a couple eating. There was Jill appearing halfway through the episode before the 30-minute commercial break...which REALLY took me back to the good ole days when it happened all the time on Y&R...when a fan favorite would show up halfway through the episode...making episodes Must-See TV. Even how the scenes at Crimson Light with Sharon and Nick played out felt more psychological in nature due to the camera angles. I felt that!!! Speaking of which...I GOT MY WISH, YA'ALL!!!! ASHLEY...IS...BACK!!! I love that she got the opening along with Victor/Nikki. I love that it seem they expanded out the Abbott front door entrance. Eileen Davidson definitely seem a bit nervous at the start of the episode, but relaxed as the episode went on. And she always slays in red. That said...I didn't like her jacket. lol. Speaking of clothes...JILL!!!!!!!!! The hair (all I needed was a diva hair toss...just ONE!!!). Her make up. The wardrobe. The styling. I know everyone mentioned Y&R got a new designer...are we sure they aren't there yet? Because I felt that Ashley jacket was new. And Jill looked FIERCE AF. MTS in the blue was divine as well. But all the females looked great this episode and it was very noticeable like last Thursday's episode where SW and MTS were giving. And it was clear JW and EB were glad to see each other. And I'm here for Hurricane Jill vs Victor. Those scenes were so great. And I know Victor didn't think he was going to make Jill back down or come for Billy without Jill coming for Adam. LOVED IT!!! JW looked sooo good!!!! Now...go whack Billy next, Jill!!!! Wow. At the Phyllis vs Sharon stuff. It is finally moving again. And I agree with @soapfan770. It is starting to give crazy Giggly Heffa in the hotel room circa 2012. Like I mentioned above, the camera direction has improved the story now because now it's coming across with more energy and more of a psychological thriller vibe going on in terms of Sharon. Her vs Nick and Nick starting to pick up on Sharon being a little crazy was intense for once. And meanwhile, Sharon storming into the GCAC and sneaking up the stairs was so well done. We know I'm here for seeing Traci and Alan. And I was curious about how Alan and Ashley would interact so good to see that outside of evil twin, Alan and Ashley still come across as friends. But ooooooo at Jack finding out Diane is working with Victor. And before I forget...'Beautiful. The music was beautiful, too.' HAHHAAHAHAHA Oh, Victor. Hehe. But EB was smooth.

Now Anna on the other hand...outside of My Beast Brennan...would be the problem person to find someone to match her dating wise.

I agree. While I'm enjoying it (I can think of three things in today's episode that was old school Y&R) and the nostalgia that is coming with it...it could be soooo much better if JG was out. That said...it does appear he might be finding his flow again. Love.

So I get it off my chest... COME THRU, CAMERA ANGLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT OPENING WAS EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!! and... YASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! VERY GREAT OPENING TODAY. And ooooh @Antoyne!!! hehe

You should see me in the GH Thread. Seriously, you are just fine. Sometimes B&B, like some other soaps, can be a chore to watch. And it IS November Sweeps so they should be kicking something into high gear. GH has a death. Y&R has a wedding. B&B has...Luna?? I would have loved to see that. I am also disappointed we have not seen Brooke vs Steffy in the boardroom. They do have that rivalry chemistry and as I always say JMW gives good bitca. Let her be one, Brad!!

11-4 See? That was truly allowed to BREATHE. And then...there's Robert and Holly. Those scenes stuck out like a sore thumb in an otherwise good somber episode. Like I was just talking about in the B&B Thread, I do like it when an event happens, and it gradually is revealed to the town/community. It makes it feel like a show, a town, and of course a soap. So Jason going to tell Spin/Maxie about Sam's death and Alexis explaining more to Kristina and Molly were good. Also good was the aftermath of said death with (especially) Laura/Rocco, Sonny/Dante, and even Drew/Scout. I think my standouts this episode were BA, NLG, GF with the Rocco actor, and KV. DZ I felt it a little less than Friday, but he still looked devastated and all I wanted was to give Dante a hug. And since I saw it above...yeah, I am kinda wondering if the actor who plays Danny is just a case of he is playing the scene wrong or just the face structure. Because for every moment I don't think he's smiling per se, BUT given the angle of the camera it kinda looks like he is. But I am just coming into the week so I guess I will see how he plays it in more scenes. Acting after all IS subjective. That said...I wasn't feeling Kate M at all. And from what little I saw online neither was anyone else. NLG was making you feel her pain. KV was great with the assist. And then...there's Kate M. Almost reluctant to play the scene. But again, that could just be me. And I am saddened if this was the way to conclude the Kristina vs Molly feud. Not surprised. But saddened.

Yes. They should have been willing to explore that older woman/young man dynamic with Brooke and Hollis. Just the conflict of public opinion...or someone from Hollis's past...or what if Ridge tried to fight for her to find Brooke like THANK YOU, NEXT. lol. I felt there could have been some avenues there. With Taylor...SK and KA had great chemistry in the brief scenes they were allowed to have. Heck, Brooke could have been briefly (emphasis on briefly) irked by the idea of Deacon/Taylor herself, but in true friendship style, she...gets over it. Whether Deacon/Taylor would have to deal with Sheila lusting after Deacon or just bad boy/good girl dynamics, that is just the tip of the iceberg for a pairing with them. I could even throw in Dollar Bill wanting Deacon to pay for hiding Sheila so he tries to romance Taylor...only to fall for the woman who shot him. Yeah this show has errs and flows. To think we had a few times where it flowed beautifully and there was A story, B story, and even a C story. It almost feels like it's about to go there again. Until then, it feels like a crawl to get there.

I almost watched the whole episode. I felt Stacey and Luann had amazing chemistry together along with Andy surprisingly. I wouldn't mind seeing them all together again on another episode in the future. Yeah, I'm throwing in the towel on Ashley. Where's the woman who basically cameo in in S6 on the cast trip, cause a whole mess, and then went right back home? Cuz her being Gizelle's lapdog ain't it. And say what I want about Robyn (and do), but if Robyn was on this trip, I feel she would still have more presence than Ashley had. There's nothing left there. Yeah, that is a shame. re: Dubai. I guess Stanbury could cameo into the forthcoming REAL HOUSEWIVES OF LONDON. lol. But seriously, the potential was there, but like I've been saying on here, the 9 pm time did it no favors, the delays, and the poor promoting.

I totally agree. And it's nothing against TK who I like, but lord Ridge be...smh. It's why I said last week that it's telling that Taylee and Steffy even know how much of a flipflopper he is and yet still have to stroke his ego. Brooke was better off when it was her, KA Taylor, being single and against the world. Just add in some Hollis for her and Deacon for Taylor.

11-8 So let me get this straight...has this girl's name been Laney the whole time because I could have sworn she said her name is Amy? LOL. Outside of that, I'm glad to see her back and feeling a way about the way that Will looks at Electra. But alas, Will is already having only eyes for Electra. I wanted it to be a more even triangle. And per next week, Electra already has a secret. Too fast. Well now that Carter and Hope have finally had sex, it does make a little more sense for Carter to go to bat for her. lol. I am still enjoying the ripple effect that Beyond the Gates Hope's firing has been gradually revealed. So seeing Zende find out and how it affects him was a good beat to play. And the hysterics between Brooke and Ridge will never not be funny. Hit him again, Brooke! Hit him for me!! And as teased last week, Luna is back!!! I don't know where they expect this to go though. Something for Bill to do dealing with a stalker??
