Taste. No worries. I am more in the B&B thread (and of course the BTG thread) more than the Y&R these days. I stumbled out over the Damian stuff because that was so distasteful for me. And for CANE? And given my story feelings for Chance...not to mention what happened to Cole...I couldn't keep going. I saw Jill's first (phone) appearance. And that was just it for me. I can't with JG. The show needs a change. And teasing a Shick reunion ain't it. And even B&B was harmless, but enjoyable fluff for me until Friday's Grace scenes. I finally picked up Monday's episode more due to my love of Li, but that show is on a slippery slope with me. Come on in re: BTG and enjoy the mess. Especially after that Friday coda. We been discussing that allllllllllllll weekend. I bet the thread will hit 100 pages again this month.

I agree. They could have reset Luna now that she was out and kept her sane, but an interesting bad girl. Though she could have been an interesting bad girl without sacrificing Hollis for sure.

I was one of the ones who cried foul when they tried to humanize her immediately after the Eva reveal. But that part of the story should have been Nicole's POV more than SilkPress's. Right now, the only way she can stay around IS if they start to humanize her somewhat. She's been running around a little too long as of late like some cartoon character in spite of TMG's great acting. Right up to the reveal, TMG seem to find any and all moments to humanize her character. Even with the reveal, she still found that throughline in her performance. So it's sad that it seems the character is overwhelming the nuances she was able to find so well earlier. More of that please.

Going by online and here, I think it is the minority that would find the truth about Laura's accident coming out anticlimactic. And until it's dealt with to some conclusion, it seems a thing that will be continued to be harped on a la SilkPress is getting away with it. Even if it comes up soon as a way to tie up that plot thread (Due to Kat's interference, it gets thrown out), I think the audience would let it drop. However it popping back up after SilkPress got all that she wants, it would be old school soap villainess comeuppance. That said...I would love for her to take a page from Sami Brady's old handbook and have the ace up her sleeve of finding out about Kenny (if June doesn't first) so she can reverse uno on half the cast. I would be in awe and it would restore the cunning SilkPress had in that first couple of months before she turned into a cartoon. I definitely love the idea of her finding out. We finally have her at a pivot so them writers better run with it if they want to keep the character (and the awesome actress) around.

I'm more curious to see if it's going to be Anita vs SilkPress until November Sweeps when the Laura angle of the SilkPress storyline comes back up and she finally gets her comeuppance and winds up losing all that money.

I really hope he leaves town with his tail between his legs. The murder mystery target has boomeranged over other characters before in recent years so why not one more time. Sez aim it at Sidwell. IKR!!! I really was not expecting too much. And I too left with a smile on my face. So unexpected. And I would totally do a rewatch. Bodes well I feel for the Urban Legend reboot.

It did. It's just on Episode 4. And the first night was two episodes. They really pass by really fast. I am living it though Law Roach is definitely doing Janice Dickinson from her ANTM days...a role I used to give to Nina Garcia. She really has mellowed in her older years.

Just wasting space they could give up to fans who know the legend she is. Just smh. I know it's a different generation, but it saddens me that so many people are missing out because they can't get off their phones and live in the moment. They don't even know how to use Google to find anything or use critical thinking anymore.

I expect to finish it today, but so far it is giving that vibe Jordi is talking about and reminding of the superb sci-fi/thriller Coherence in the setting, vibe, and deep concepts. Yeah, he's still in plain sight. I was taken aback, thinking it was someone else at first. Cuz he as part of a buffy muffy gay couple was something I never expected to see. Thank you for the quotes.

Sitting here finally watching the horror/thriller indie movie The Invitation, trying to wrap my head around Jordi Vilasuso playing gay and enjoying seeing Tammy Blanchard.

I loved it. Was not expecting to. But I had to go and see it quickly since the latest trend seem to be people spoiling everything 24 hours after a movie officially releases as quick and as loud as possible. Glad I was unspoiled...outside of the post-credit scene and that was teased in interviews anyway. 'Who we going to f@#$ up this time?' can live rent-free in my head. That said...I feel this one will get the same treatment as SCREAM 4 did...which was ahead of its time then and has become more valued as time has gone on. It found it quite meta and liked that the kills were more vicious (though I loathed Act 3) and they balanced the vibe well with seriously for our legacy characters with the Gen Z vibe with the newbies. Not that I liked them, but I didn't hate them, either.

This reminds me of a local band I went to see (cuz one of the members is a DJ and hot AF) and while I loved the music and wanted to dance to it, the majority (a pretty big crowd) were just there...recording with their phones. Not in the moment at all. It bugged me.
