Another good one. But seeing Sara Bibel, I wasn't worried. Yeeeah I continue to be unsure about Dani/Bill/Hayley coming back into the A story mix. Not that I don't see the potential. But...I just continue to feel too soon. That said...I definitely loved Dani vs Hayley. And I was happy to see Hayley hold her own. They came to a nice draw. And I loved how Dani would be putting up a good front, but would turn away from Hayley and the camera would see how hurt she would be. In fact, I thought the sums of the parts was so much better than the whole with Dani/Bill/Hayley. Hayley mixing it up with Naomi. Bill scheming one moment with Tomas to him having an episode the next. I've been loving the growing friction between Dani and Andre over her linger feelings for Bill and his attachement to Ashley. Speaking of...awwww Dani/Andre. It's been building. The feelings. The little cracks. The talks. The body language. So it's nice they started to have it out. It's been so organically done. Even if it also made me sad. First Naomi. Then Hayley. Now they both see Bill having a moment. Worse, it looked worse than a hand tremor. So that story is growing, too. I was not expecting another round of Kat vs Silk Press Sheila so soon. That was hilarious that SilkPress is stalking her around for someone wanting to put a restraining order on her. lol. Nor did I expect her to mix it up with Ashley and Derek...who looked in those blue jean. Mmm. But yeah...the highlight was the new turn in the Anita story. Like some others, I wish I could say I was not spoiled, but sadly that was not the case since I stumbled onto what it would be when I was looking for Kat vs SilkPress clips. Just ugh. I still love the scenes all the same and how they fleshed out more of Anita's backstory. It gave just enough to continue wetting the apptite for more, but did not give us everything. I still feel and hope that the reveal will be at the police fundraiser which also will hopefully tie back into the crooked cop storyline, too. A strong A story with several B AND C plots going on with movement = a good episode.

Now coming into June...well... I knew it was coming but I didn't like the start to the next round of Dani/Bill/Hayley. As the 3 A plots from the start of the show (The SilkPress storyline and Martin's Secret being the other two), it needed to be benched for a while to develop those characters and allow other characters and storylines to grow. 3 months in, Hayley is the weak link, Dani is still divisive, but not boring, and Bill has been making his mark with some plots faster than others. So last week seeing the story starting to loop back around to them with Hayley's potential pregnancy, I honestly had mixed feelings. I get it. The SilkPress storyline is currently in aftermath/next turn mode, so it has to be moved into a C plot position. Moreso if we want to keep the very talented Miss Trish around. And I love how clever the writers are being with the storyline. They give us enough in the episodes and are still playing out beats to keep the appetite fed. I don't feel like anyone is being dumbed down to keep her around. And Trish is giving nuances in her alone scenes with NuTed. I shouldn't care for a clear psycho, but she be selling it. That said...I wish they had given us a little more of the Martin's Secret storyline in the last week of the month though I loved the game of cat and mouse Bill did on Martin and Smitty to keep the storyline alive and active after it had a nice build beginning of May and vanished for a week mid-May. And it appears like it's about to go back to the backburner as an A plot which of course leaves the A plot of Dani/Bill/Hayley. I am probably in the minority as someone who is not anti-Dani here and even she annoyed the heck out of me last week. In character true, but I just felt like there was a way to get all of that across without it feeling like...as I've said before...one step forward, two steps back...and have it feel organic. I liked Hayley got a little bit of edge with her, but she still ain't no match for Dani. And it reminds to be seen if we should be going back to that well of a story yet. Now about today's show... And I thought Tracy was bad! lol. But YES. Sharon has been worth the wait. And so has Anita's story! Finally having TT in the limelight. This has been a nice slow burn for me and a nice B plot. And the actress is good. The wig is giving. And her holding what Anita's secret is over her head and threatening to tell Vernon....Ooooo...that is what I was waiting for. And speaking of bad...I thought Eva vs Kat was a great rivalry. But I am loving the rivalry that is growing with 'Nancy Drew' and Silk Press Sheila! They both get good licks in and are so cunning with each other. And I definitely have liked that since the anniversary party, that it has been growing. Now that Kat has been proven right, she has not backed down. And neither has SilkPress. And we got a 'Ms. B@tch' moment, too? LOVE. Eva coming up with a trump card was delicious and so 90s Sami Brady. GOOD. And the coda with Jacob and the expert...YES. The Silk Press storyline has been the best paced on the show so I love that the aftermath of the anniversary party continues to be so...barring one flaw...well for me. Not enough Nicole's POV. And I like the C plots on display. And by that, I mean Chelsea with Vernon. And it made me wonder what the writers have plan for her love life now that the throuple is over with. I was watching her and going awww. And of course the mystery man around Martin. I am starting to wonder if he really even works at the country club given how he made a run for it. That would be a twist. Speaking of Martin...good to see him in scenes with his father and mother. I'm getting used to NuTed. I felt the last episode of May was a bit of a letdown, but this was a very nice recovery.

Agree. The catfights at the clothing store alone...lol. That's how I feel about Teresa as well. Cheryl I feel seems to blend much better with Sara's breakdowns, but I definitely love her dialogue no matter who she is with. They also forget replies about missing plot points and theories about why they might be missing so... YASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS Oh how that scene lives rent free in my head and when it pops up online I will always watch.

So I'm seeing cuz the catch-up has been brutal. All I can do (besides look at fashion) is smh.

Coming into June and... TRASH. Or as I like to say for moments like this...HUNNI, WHAT IS THIS? Outside of seeing Traci come home...and then...Ashley...not a darn thing is going on. So they are clearing stalling now, aren't they? It really hit me during the Phyllis/Daniel scenes. It was feeling like a B&B scene where two characters have the same repetitive conversation. And I have not seen Phyllis/Daniel scenes in that light lately so yeeeeah NOPE. I did like the touch of Traci arrived outside of the Abbott mansion door and taking a breath and looking around. Very aftereffects of Martin. And I liked her and Diane having their conversation about Martin. I wished JG had allowed Traci to stay in town to deal with her feelings about Martin so at least we are getting some follow-up on that. And same with Ashley and her talk with Jack. I will take Eileen Davidson anyway I can get her. Dare I say...will she be around for the Dumas reveal? Outside of... Kyle, Claire, and Harrison in a park IS NOT a storyline. Sharon having to use the phrases (and in text) with Nick dinner as friends IS NOT a storyline. Giggly Heffa giggly-heffa-ing around town IS NOT a storyline. With Damian MIA and my love of Eileen Davidson...I might just go on break until the Dumas reveal if this is how we are starting June.

I'm really shocked I missed it. I blame it on being so busy with stuff. lol. But good to know he will be part of her storyline still. I wonder if he will try to feud with her when the episodes start airing. OMG! I can't believe it's NEXT WEEK!!!
