Moot but still a great point and a plot (along with Ric dropping) that wrote itself during that time. And then add on what appeared to be a Sins of the Father storyline with the kids, but alas.

Yep not at all a flop. Simply proves what some people have said for ages about representation...always give a taste of it...and then they snatch it away. Also why people flew to BTG. They might fumble the writing over there, but it's not going to be a case of any of the above at the other soaps which is sadly not surprising due to too many examples to mention. But...here's B&B's chance to prove me wrong. And...we will see.

It was worth the wait, too. I had been wondering how Bill would eventually react since Andre and Dani started. And they never said it said it before today. So Andre already trying to mark that territory and that look Bill gave him. It was ON. I can't wait to see what their dynamic will be given how Dani is with Ashley. Dani ain't wrong, either which makes it funny when she does it.

Lol. I probably spelt his name wrong. Sidwell's son.

PS. I will always be here for Dani shading Ashley every chance she gets. Moreso since Ashley broke it off with Andre. So why she acting like...neurotic Carrie Bradshaw. Again.

Finally sitting down to watch today's episode and let me just say... OMG they casted Henry!! OMG! FINALLY...BILL VS ANDRE! That was the first time Derek gave CRAZY eyes at Ashley. KAT...YOU...BETTER...READ...THAT F-BOI. Cuz her interrupting them together over something that WAS irrelevant was Muchado about nothing and Kat was in her rights to call her out.

She is. But a BFF ain't above popping in if their BFF's kid was in danger. So it kinda stands out a bit.

I'm sure just because you mentioned her, she will pop up next week.

Oh, I picked on them. I didn't include B&B or Y&R when I said other shows upped their writing game. I said of the 3 CBS soaps...regardless of ratings...BTG is the better of the 3. I feel with this news (and post killing off legacy characters on Y&R and the trains heard around the world) that someone over there is slllllowwwly noticing. Just because they got the memo does not at all mean they understood the memo. What that will lead to is too early to tell.

RHOM WHITE LOTUS indeed. Another episode. Another trip. Another sighting of bubble butts. lol. It was a fun time. What I liked about this one was all the side shade that was going on throughout. And the drama shifted right on back to Alexia vs Stephanie. I found that hilarious since the ending was Alexia praying they could all find Jesus as if she was not the one who caused the biggest blowup of this episode. But what a blow-up it was!!!! A four-way fight between Alexia, Stephanie, Larsa, and Lisa with a tag-in by Marysol. And then Adriana and Kiki making up, too. And of course plenty of Guerdy reaction shots. It was wild!!! lol. And I got a cruise episode to look forward to? Not to mention a new episode tonight? Ay por favor! ALEXIA. Well...she went to work. *shrugs* I thought it was telling (and I saw Adriana saw it, too) that she and Marysol bowed out of going to see Julia's friend. Julia...the person who has been sucking up to them all season and have their back. She and Marysol couldn't even be bothered. My bad. They could be bothered to plan a birthday surprise for a woman who they spend the episode badmouthing while everyone else was on her private jet. And we got another round of her vs Stephanie. She caught up quickly with her deflecting technique, but I still saw she ran when Stephanie started to match that energy when she was popping attitude. And I hollered that in the middle of the four-way fight, that she dropped backstory on herself. So Alexia...lol. Never change. LARSA. She stayed with taking pop-shots at Lisa all episode. Which was great during the four-way fight. Otherwise...not a thing. GUERDY. Her and Lisa with the comic relief was funny. JULIA. Okay. Perhaps the REAL story is not why Julia flew all this way to see about this gay couple being godparents, but about why her immediate family have an issue with her having these kids. Just saying. Meanwhile, she is soooo blind if she does not see that Alexia and Marysol are all too willing to throw her under the bus. In the hierarchy of mean girls, she is clearly Minion Number 3. And that is when Larsa doesn't feel like being it. Wake up. LISA. 'Take notes of your friends.' 'Noted.' hehe. Oh, Lisa. But she was giving funny moments. And yay to her officially divorced. STEPHANIE. Well, I couldn't say she wasn't working. Look at her matching Alexia's energy. No wonder she had to run and get reinforcements. That said...still over her with her jet. FOH MARYSOL. Not Marysol getting offended at being called Alexia's twin! And all of this mess over toilet paper? Really? I felt they were just wanting to be mean girls at Julia's expense. Then again Julia is expendable so... KIKI. Only in the middle of a four-way fight could she and Adriana make up. ADRIANA. Like I said in my other review, it seem like Adriana realized how she sounded and tried to correct it quickly. Some of the other women could learn the same. Well...back to catching up. Though I can't believe the season is about to end soon.

Well to be fair, we have discussed that BTG has lit some fires. It was not even out, but all the shows beefed up their black presences on their shows. And when it started on air with some sense of a story, most (well GH and DAYS) stepped up their writing game. And while CBS has been at work on cultivating a daytime soap lineup with a promo here and there, BTG is still the better written of the three, crossovers happening on the show. People can't help, but look at their other soaps (B&B and Y&R) and see if they are slowly getting the memo to do something to catch the attention. Well attention for something good happening on their respective shows.

That all sounds good to me. It makes me think of BTG Month 2. It was slow but a lot of development did happen.

And that's another thing...outside of Dani crashing Andre and Ashley's date--and even then she was reserved...when was the last time Dani has actually...DANI-ed? I would say the mugshot turned photoshoot, but that was ages ago.
