  1. As one of the people who used to like that group...I must admit that I'm currently not feeling their scenes though the resetting of the Dr. O and Britt relationship could be interesting.
  2. Totally. Yeah, I thought that I would dislike it, but I grew to love it. But I guess I am a sucker for people on soaps dancing at the altar. lol. Dani was getting her life.
  3. Yes...I had heard so much about her and those beautiful green eyes and seen clips. And had friends that wanted her back for decades. And I still remember the gasp I let out with her reentrance...I loved her anyway I got her, but it really was hit and miss. And I was just happy in the end, my Princess Tina got her man. *swoons* I agree though I always have a soft spot for Faison because his reputation before I saw him (well as an adult and vaguely remember him as a kid) preceded him so well. The same for Stefano...whom I knew of looooong before I saw him or even started to watch DAYS cuz I like the Phoenix trope in literature, media, etc. To experience him though...the gothic, the intellect, I think I had never seen a man on a show that was evil but so...cunning, but intelligent and passionate...as a kid, I never seen anything like that...probably why it was love at first sight with Stefan on GH as well. lol. But I disgress...I love his campy, but I like that Stefano did become more grounded, but for a while there never lost his menace. Same. Especially Julia. Gave her a whole return promo (that I still can't find to this day) and then did nothing with her after her initial return arc only to kill her off right when she was about to get interesting in such a throwaway way, too.
  4. I go with Number 1, but I love Number 2 as well. Speaking of...you know I'm not watching so I have to ask...has the wedding happened yet?
  5. Let me go ahead and get this out of the way before I dive into the Monica week because today has been a good day for a good cry for me (a lot of family medical issues, but got some good news on my sister). I felt the week before last was very much giving last week's BTG. It had good moments and I was not nearly as bored with GH as I was with BTG, it was just...THERE. I guess for me, I agree with what everyone else said...Drew woke up too soon in his murder mystery. And even that, he still hasn't changed (note to me: GOOD...Drew is best as villain). And because of that, it felt like they are already losing that momentum for that part of the storyline. Same for Britt's return which I felt has a good flow to it, but now that I've gotten to the scenes that @carolineg mentioned I agree. It's giving too much WannabeBrenda/Jason-lite and not what I came to expect from Britt/Jason scenes in the past. I immediately started to side-eye. I must have missed the scene (or just not cared) where Sydney Joss and Vaughn officially decided to get together. That said, I did giggle when they pulled collective guns on Brennan. Now that Jason knows about Joss, I do admit that I'm interested in seeing if he will tell Carly and will it finally blow up Carly/Brennan. I thought the Jason/Anna scenes were too on the nose. Now that the writers have Britt back, no need for them to play Jason/Anna scenes like they are wannabe lovers. Good said I. But THEY were the only ones who wanted that so the scenes played like they were trying to have a tantrum over something NO ONE in the audience wanted. What's the phrase...let it go. The audience do not mind Jason/Anna as friends...we just didn't want them as lovers. I can't believe Britt just walked back into the hospital like she hasn't been gone for two years. And then she said BEN. Ooooo I saw red just like Lulu which means I'm Team Lulu on that. I don't like the storyline, and it doesn't help it has no layers to it. On the nose again. We are giving up the much more layered and entertaining (even with slanted writing) Lulu/BLQ rivalry. Le sigh. I see how over Kai I am. And his recent scenes with Drew where Drew is trying to use him to get all of his blackmailing dirt just makes Kai look so daft. I really like seeing Trina and Emma together and of course Emma and Gio. I was meh on the return of the professor. Liz is love and apparently comic relief and I'm not hating on it. I still feel Willow shot Drew and how K McMul is playing her...I feel like Dark Willow is far from over and I love that. Jacinta and Michael...I don't. Though I've enjoyed RG and DZ in scenes both looking like snacks. I have liked seeing so much Nina. And Isaiah is totally coming across as obsessed so I feel at some point he will be thrown under the bus.
  6. Okay, FINE. You WIN. I'm back on the Dani/Andre wagon. But if he hurts her again...GRRRR. This episode is already off to a great start. Not surprising cuz it's Jazmen. But I really love the Bill/Naomi/Chels scene and how the show has continued the throughline of Chelesa dealing with her kidnapping. So much more realistic than POOF she's back to normal for me. Love seeing Hayley/Caroline. Loving how humor is being used...silly yes, but not so slapsticky that I'm rolling my eyes. And the TWINS were mentioned today, too. I really wonder if they have already been cast if they are allegedly arriving in November/December according to today's dialogue per Vanessa. That's what I am wondering as well. Totally agree. Last week is the first week I haven't done a rewatch. I miiiight rewatch Thursday and Friday, but I have no desire to do the rest.
  7. As it should be. Excited.
  8. So I'm going to cry. Got it. Good to hear.
  9. I'm a sucker for young/teen couples so I totally understand. I'm looking forward during my binge this weekend. Hopefully.
  10. AMEN!!!! I can't wait to see her. And Jan, too. Together? Come thru, Have-Nots!!!
  11. Hehe. I knew you would like that.
  12. First of all...MONA!!!! Second of all...reading that it sounds like in Doug's attempt to get Joey, Martin's secret might come back into play...or people involved in it (marcel, joey, Jacob's dad who are already tied together in other stories, bill). And I guess Dark Derek IS going to be a thing. Go C plot!
  13. Okay, Show, I was about to get angry. Well-played with the fantasy. I respect that Ted did not try to lie. That said...YASSSSS NICOLE!!! Free yourself!!! And next week...Looks like we are finally going to get the next beat in the Doug/Vanessa/Joey storyline. Good.
  14. True, but through all the other storylines and preemptions, it was really nice to get a refresher on where Vanessa's head is before the next beat in the storyline.
  15. Awww darn you, Show! I was hating SilkPress all episode, but this scene with Anita turning into an actual serious conversation is doing wonders for her and Anita. This is what I want to see more of. And scheming. I just hope that Anita saying there would be no Articulates without Barbara to her does not come back to bite her since the Devon subplot is still out there. Bill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol. Not you throwing Vanessa under the bus. And here we go...Nicole vs Ted.
  16. Agree. I've always said that I loved how it came together with all three in their own stories and converging on each other. And after today and yesterday, I really want to see where it will go. I feel even more invested now that the characters are talking about how they feel and hinting at their motivations. Especially today with Bill. They should weave him in more. Yeah, you saying that about Guza...and I believe you...I do worry how things will go for Vanessa...okay all of them...without Guza's influence.
  17. I don't think you are alone on that. I liked that. A wise and transparent move on Whitney's part. They can now not try to hold anything over her...which these ladies will (just look at what started over Lisa and her money issues). Whitney defuse the bomb.
  18. TAKE OFF THE EARRINGS, ANITA!!! Good Vanessa/Nicole scenes. Really liking Nicole having a POV. But I am bias. Ahhhhhh not Joey speaking his truth. I'm sorry. I'm liking this. But I've always said the Doug/Vanessa/Joey storyline has been well developed and the best of the B storylines. They really should have been the main focus this week cuz this episode is working the way it should. Is that source of Randy his way of saying the source is Hayley and he's about to use her to get info on Bill? The levels...
  19. Very insane. Moreso given how they went out of their way to redeem her. Shameful.
  20. They really did. I was actually looking forward to the slap Sasha would give Willow for what she did. And I like the chemistry that was growing between SM and RG, shocking myself. I definitely remember all of that and Steve's feelings about being shirtless...which made his scene with Britt that much more surprisingly the first go around. lol. I'm definitely looking forward to binging on Sunday. I usually reserve it for BTG.
  21. SLAP HER AGAIN, ANITA!!!
  22. I believe she did as well. But it was a case of 'of course she leaves when she FINALLY was getting good.'
