  1. Hehe. I was just picking on the writers more than you. I'll probably keep that in mind when I watch them though. It's been so long I don't remember why Britt disliked Carly except for the fact that it was not too soon after she kicked Jason out of her room after he broke her heart that she found out he and Carly was getting married if I remember correctly. She was shocked and I felt it was just as abrupt as Carly and Jason realizing there were still feelings between them. Clear set-up for Sonny to finally come home after Nixon Falls.
  2. I felt it was a writing choice then because it felt so abrupt and unlike Britt. Though seeing what you wrote, I could understand that now when I see it in that light. I do remember her finally being open and when Jason basically just dropped her...it was a brief moment where I felt KT emoted how Jason had just shattered Britt by her face. And then her walls snapped right back up and Britt kicked him out of her room. Even I felt how hurt she was. It was brief, but well done. I'm not sure if she could do it now either to be honest. Though I've been loving their reunion so far.
  3. I'm sure Li will ride again soon enough.
  4. I had no doubt he would sell it. Steve really has learned how to emote since his last exit.
  5. Thank you. I'm disappointed, but I have to call a spade a spade cuz the writing this week and some of last week (which I finished rewatching) had me going 'hunni, what is dis?' At least last week had the aftermath of Chels's kidnapping to hold everything together and I'm still very much interested in it this week with the brief moments we get with it. But...what else is going on?
  6. She will NEVER be Brenda. So them writers can back all the wayyyyy OFF. And I don't feel they have the writing skills to make it as fun as Brenda/Jason made it. So that means those 'wacka wacka' vibes I've been sensing in these latest scenes are going to be nails on a chalkboard for me. Eww. That said...yes, OG Britt/Jason was fine and mature. Part of the reason they failed (for me) was they started to write Britt as this heroine rather than herself in terms of that relationship (not her other stories) the last time around. It didn't work then. Cuz Britt...even back then...would have slapped Carly for stepping to her over Jason. Carly...would have slapped her back for thinking she could come in on Jason. Jason would have huffed. It would have been the right wacky fun, but more organically interesting. Let's not water Britt down now. lol. Hehe. That did cross my mind. It does track. However, since she's been in and out and in and out again (pun unintended), it just seems like Frank's at it again. At least that means he's not bored of Rory yet, but alas.
  7. Yeeeeah, I'm going to go uh oh. Why? I...am bored. It's not the first time I've not felt a week, but liked it after I did a rewatch. However, I'm not feeling rewatch-y. And that's not because the fashion isn't still on point. And there have been some good moments. And some beats. For me, there just isn't anything to hold the week together. None of the A stories are in play for anything major. The SilkPress storyline would be the closest and I believe that I officially am putting that in the over-played department due to the writers' insistence in writing SilkPress as a clown and dumbing down everyone else in her sphere currently. By default, I am liking there was a little bit of Dani/Bill/Hayley storyline to shore up things today. You know it's bad when THAT'S the A story that I'm clinging to. But at least there is something intriguing to it. Chelesa's kidnapping was an event, and it managed to give the three of them something to play with. Bill and Dani were closer, and everyone noticed. Hayley got to annoy me on one hand and be Kristen Dimera-Lite-circa the late 90s on the other. I admit that there were a lot of things in that triangle (Andre makes 4) that need to be a certain way to get it back toward 'factory settings.' Bill and Dani were being too close...and I was liking it and their scenes with their daughters. Even Bill and Hayley were getting some believable friction from it. So this Tomas jealous thing is unneeded for me. Not organic. Bill having to back off Dani due to Hayley's jealousy led to great Dani vs Bill scenes. As has Andre's presence. In a way, they have to rest this A story again so this episode did a good job of giving a reason why they will be off in their own separate stories for a while until the next beat...which I'm sure will be Hayley's schemes which is the most jarring thing in the whole A story because it has abruptly vanished. Can we free Shanice? Plllllease. I am liking Dark Derek that is slowly popping out, but I am not here for Round 2 of Derek/Ashley/Andre. I didn't like it the first time though I understood it. And now that I'm over it...this is just overkill. Both men deserve better. And Ashley deserves more writing development. I said the other day that there is really only two solid B stories at the moment. One that was not ready to even be the main focus (June) and that story is back to Square One. The other one which would be perfect for a week where nothing is going on (Doug/Vanessa/Joey) that has also abruptly vanished after a fiery cliffhanger last week. Very watching paint dry with moments of flirting though. I feel momentum has been lost.
  8. Now you know Jacinda is about to be Frank's latest flavor of the month. Moreso since Sasha is out. And Willow needs a rival.
  9. Hush you! lol. You were in the message boards when it was going down and we were discussing why that story never worked aka it should have been a C plot when Sheila was running around with her wigs and disguises and we saw a connection form onscreen since Bill was dealing with being a powerful, but lonely man. They would have had chemistry to make it work...if we had seen it onscreen and not as a jumpscare shock plot twist. And bonus...Sheila vs Li had already been established (as had Bill/Li) that that would have been fun to watch. But you know I'm still waiting for Round 3 of Li vs Sheila. Probably not getting it now sadly.
  10. Since my internet wants to play...Guerdy, Adriana, and Alexia are my faves. Second ups is Julia (yes, I said it), Marysol, Lisa (I feel it will look better on screen), and Larsa (same reason) Last...Kiki...looking so much Mrs. Roeper. And Stephanie.
  11. RHOM REUNION LOOKS!!!
  12. Hehe. Like Mother, like daughter. Cuz Dani looks great to me with her hair today.
  13. Them factory settings. I totally agree. It's like Drew has all, but forgotten that Sam did spell out her wishes. So I was glad that Natasha started to come out to play after the few times she did bring that up to Drew. Otherwise, it barely got a mention. Same. I've been glad in my binging to see Trina more. But I have noticed that Emma seems to have vanished along with the professor and Gio feels like a glorified extra after all that build-up.
  14. Before I get to seeing if today's episode was pre-empted and I have to move to the app (boo! hiss!)...I did want to say that I loved yesterday's ending. And I hope they don't drop the ball on Nicole moving forward with her life since SilkPress left her Ted's tie. Cuz really, Ted, REALLY? I can't believe he thought SilkPress wouldn't go to rub her good fortune (pun unintended) in Anita's, Vernon's, and especially Nicole's face. But when you got to be the straight man to wacky...
  15. I hope not. Given the history, I would say either him or Tracy. And both are currently in good standing with the audience that everyone would be behind them in their grief.
  16. SLC It was just...okay. Don't get me wrong. I enjoyed it very much. I like the idea of just throwing us into the pool and we just figure out what is going on. It just felt so overdone for me. It's like they know we expect crazy from SLC and because of that, the producers set up crazy and it really came off manufactured, fake, and unauthentic. What made SLC wild is that for all of its crazy, it really was AUTHENTIC craziness. Like Lisa's absence. I try to stay away from A LOT of filming tea to be surprised, but even I knew that Lisa was trying to push Bob out in the off-season and that was really the only reason she was not in the episode since she thought not showing up and making it a 'her or me' situation would help. The right thing Production should have done was let the show go on WITHOUT HER. (c) LuAnn Lesseps. hehe. But the ways the ladies kept bringing up Lisa and Jen Shah just felt so inorganic and manufactured. Outside of Bob's tea, they didn't need to mention Lisa at all. They could have just...been themselves. So that the audience could say Lisa who? That said...I thought it did a good job setting up what was to come. It was good to see Angie K and Mary in good standing, knowing they will hit a rough patch. It was great to see Britini back in all her deluded glory...cuz we don't care about Jared...lol. And we even have a semi-silly feud coming between her and Whitney. But the main feud looks to be Lisa vs Bob. Bob quickly set that up with the Lisa money issue tea. I also loved her Reverse Uno she pulled on Heather's attempt to attack with the necklace tea. Poor Heather...some people really do OWN IT...when they mess up. Not you, but some people. Decent premiere. Happy they are back. And liked that (for now) we have THREE Housewife shows going on (MIA, OC, SLC) with MIA handing off to POTOMAC (and BH).
  17. Le sigh. A week worth of episodes away and still not ready. Hehe. Not you saying that after RHOSLC's premiere. Le sigh. So it begins...
  18. You are not alone on that. I know I felt a way realizing during my binge...when was the last time I saw Ned? Though hopefully given what is coming up, that is coming. Heck...when was the last time we saw Leo?
  19. I must admit that it has crossed my mind that we have really seen Ned or Olivia too much as of late.
  20. I gasped. And it seems like some of that will be on the show, too.
  21. Speaking of this crazy show (and since I got wiggle room waiting for a certain show with snowflakes)... I can't believe how much I'm almost caught up. Right in time for something that probably going to make me cry. But as of right, I'm been liking...don't hate me ... JASON/BRITT. I know I'm in the minority on this board. They were a happy accident the first time around, and then the writing decided it wanted to go and be slanted. And I didn't like the whole 'let's bring back a character and isolate them with dayplayers forever.' Because it worked so well on Lucky, Brenda, etc., etc. BUT...slapsticky writing aside...I have been liking it so far. They even got a good cliffhanger, and I feel SB and KT DO have chemistry. Or perhaps I should have said great longing chemistry. And I forgot that Jason was dead when Britt died. And they paid off the beat of Jason finding out Britt died when he got back. I have even come around to Joss being involved in this story. I want to see where it goes and what Britt's story will be. CURTIS/PORTIA/ISAIAH. I still can't figure out how Isaiah went from being into Jordan to being basically obsessed with Portia, but I did like Portia and Curtis's knock-out dragout argument that winded up with Portia sleeping with Isaiah...and going back for seconds...thirds...though I bet a WTD storyline is coming since she also slept with Curtis. Jordan almost feels like an afterthought. DREW'S ATTACK. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!! That murder mystery trope finally hit its bullseye!!! I'm with the group who say it's Willow. I can't believe she got back with Drew. But I felt she had not forgiven him and was using him. How...evil of her. I hope that means her dark turn is farrrrrrrr from over. I loved Tracy helping Michael. And I love how it's going so far given so many people wanted Drew gone (not those Kai/Trina scenes). And the reveal of people gradually finding out is just so soapy good. ERICA, JANET, & SKYE...I MEAN...ALEXIS, AVA, & KRISTINA. I admit that I was disappointed in the story turn of Cody confessing that Kristina paid him to seduce Ava because he has feelings for Molly. I just don't care about Cody/Molly and no oneliners about people still in town is going to change that for me. That said...I was not expecting Ava to pull a Nikolas on Ric. Nor was I expecting Alexis to tie him up. Karma for Carly and the panic room? It is soapy, but it's delicious. I wonder who will find out first...Molly or Liz. And of course...somehow I expect Carly to be roped into it. ON THIS EPISODE OF ALIAS. I think I've warmed to Joss and Vaughn. lol. Still don't like the storyline. And I actually gasped at Brennan's henchwoman being a triple agent. I do like that Anna appears to be getting mixed in, but I feel the idea of a Carly/Brennan/Anna triangle has sailed with the recast. And I am long overdue ready for Carly to find out what Brennan with her daughter...and that Anna knew. Oh and... MAXIE'S COMA. That was a nice pivot and put momentum on a lot of characters that the audience cared for. And that Sidwell was the reason for it since he's going after Deception? Good to see him do something evil again.
