  1. Bring it. If they have a witness as credible as Dr. Ford, by all means we should listen and believe. If the idea is that they will find people to fabricate stories than she should be ashamed of herself as should Lindsay Graham.
  2. Yes, he is. So many of these Senators are proving (once again) that they are not fit to lead us.
  3. Chuck Grassley is disgusting. We have to get rid of these cruel, amoral Senators ASAP. Me too and we have Anita Hill to thank for being a role model even though her harasser is on the court as we speak. It makes me sick to think another one even has a chance.
  4. It was mentioned in the article, but I still think DD was right when she said most people don't read beyond the headline and they know that. They should have made it more clear if they wanted to do the right thing. Writing well is their job, so there is no good excuse.
  5. Damn. It never occurred to me that they would do something like that on purpose until DD and you said it. Not the first time I've had a blind spot though. What a terrible thing to do.
  6. Yes, because lord know that if she'd been serving these preppy little bastards at the McD's drive thru, fewer people would believe her now.
  7. Unbelievable. That's usually how gang rape works dummy! Of course, he thinks we are the dummies and aren't smart enough to parse his language. He's supposedly one of the greatest legal minds out there and he doesn't know when to shut the @@@@ up? Please.
  8. The part about George Washington. I just can't. What an idiot.
  9. Things really are falling apart for the Republicans now. For awhile there I thought they would run out the clock, but the floodgates have opened.
  10. ^ The article does credit AA women with running the ad. I see where the headline is unclear though.
  11. I think they were buddies who were helping each other rape women. It reminds me of predators in the wild that work together to bring down prey. I bet if we could go back in time and talk to them in 1983, they wouldn't see it that way though. I don't think many people understood rape culture the way we do now. While I believe the accusers, I really wish that we could get an investigation and hear from all of the witnesses. I'd like to see the evidence and the corroborating witness lined up in an orderly fashion. At this point, you'd think Kavanaugh would want that as well, if he's innocent. The hypocrisy is off the charts. I remember seeing where Tucker Carlson had the header "Creepy porn star lawyer" when Avenatti was on his show. Umm How about the creepy porn star ******* President? Not that I think porn stars are creepy anyway. How other people make their living isn't mine to judge.
  12. Along with the women who have enabled and stood by these predators. I really have to keep reminding myself that there are good men and good people in this world. There are days I wonder what kind of hellhole I brought children into.
  13. This might slow them down.
  14. I would say it's much worse. Not that I want to compare people's trauma, but these allegations are about premeditated drugging and gang rape. I mean, damn. I'm disgusted he got away with it for so long. I pray to God you are right, although I have no faith myself. What a stain on our country this would be. How can we even see the government as legitimate with you have Trump and Clarence Thomas in the highest offices of the land and now this guy is on deck?
  15. My God. I think there is a pretty good chance we are going to have a SCOTUS who drugged and gang raped women.
  16. ^ God bless that man, but may he stay far away from the Presidency. The right wing trolls have been coming pretty hard for him.
  17. I've seen a few more stories about Yemen in the last couple of weeks at least. Seems like we are in it just to sell weapons 2 billion dollars worth of weapons. If there is a more disgusting reason to help starve children I can't think of it at the moment.
  18. It's like these people are too stupid to ever learn a lesson.
  19. Not sure they would really be dragging us into it, since at times 45 seems quite eager to make it happen. Why is beyond me.
  20. I do think building up someone like this to be a hero is a big mistake. I expect he has a few skeletons, maybe even bad ones. I don't care as long as he keeps sticking it to Trump. He's good at playing the social media game and making life harder for Trump and his cronies. That makes me happy.
  21. I agree. I even trust him to be a good lawyer. I hope he decides to stick with that and continues to advocate for underdogs going against high value targets. He has a gift for it and there is a lot of money in it.
  22. I think there are more late bloomers than most people realize (I was 21). It's not unbelievable that some people graduate from college without having sex. He belonged to a hard partying frat though and that makes it beyond my belief. There is no way he was accepted into that culture and was a virgin, imo. I believe the truth will out.
  23. It's a strange assertion. Why go there? Either it's a lie and someone is going to come forward to refute it, or it fails to address the allegations of his first two accusers anyway. Seems like a Hail Mary, meant to convince the gullible who watch Fox.
