  1. ^ God bless that man, but may he stay far away from the Presidency. The right wing trolls have been coming pretty hard for him.
  2. I've seen a few more stories about Yemen in the last couple of weeks at least. Seems like we are in it just to sell weapons 2 billion dollars worth of weapons. If there is a more disgusting reason to help starve children I can't think of it at the moment.
  3. It's like these people are too stupid to ever learn a lesson.
  4. Not sure they would really be dragging us into it, since at times 45 seems quite eager to make it happen. Why is beyond me.
  5. I do think building up someone like this to be a hero is a big mistake. I expect he has a few skeletons, maybe even bad ones. I don't care as long as he keeps sticking it to Trump. He's good at playing the social media game and making life harder for Trump and his cronies. That makes me happy.
  6. I agree. I even trust him to be a good lawyer. I hope he decides to stick with that and continues to advocate for underdogs going against high value targets. He has a gift for it and there is a lot of money in it.
  7. I think there are more late bloomers than most people realize (I was 21). It's not unbelievable that some people graduate from college without having sex. He belonged to a hard partying frat though and that makes it beyond my belief. There is no way he was accepted into that culture and was a virgin, imo. I believe the truth will out.
  8. It's a strange assertion. Why go there? Either it's a lie and someone is going to come forward to refute it, or it fails to address the allegations of his first two accusers anyway. Seems like a Hail Mary, meant to convince the gullible who watch Fox.
  9. Yes, it is.
  10. ^ That's good news. This is not. I was hoping that CBF and DR would not have to testify. I hope Avenatti really has what he says he has.
  11. Well, this is an honest take at least.
  12. Yes. I think it's the idea of 45 outright firing Mueller that has people alarmed, not so much a pardon for Manafort and Cohen. I certainly see why people are concerned that our institutions won't withstand this onslaught. It's not like the Republicans can be counted on to reign Trump in. I feel very grateful that Trump has pissed on this counties generals time and again.
  13. I certainly don't have as much as I did before 2016. That election showed me that there are far more awful people in this country than I ever imagined. Not that I think I'm some saint, but damn. I never thought I'd see the day Nazi's marched in our streets and POTUS would shrug it off and millions of people would stick with him. I think there is some hope that democrats are more energized and that more will vote in 2020. Also, maybe some hope that fewer Republicans will vote. I won't be counting my chickens before I see 45 escorted out of the white house.
  14. Looks like he does.
  15. I'm sorry that happened to you. Women are definitely a part of the problem. I'd need a degree in sociology to understand why so many women go along, but partially it has to be socialization. A lot of evangelicals still believe women should submit to men, so I understand why that group supports the status quo. It's just beyond me why educated women in positions of power (like the one from Yale law school) don't stand up and try to stop it more often. She should know better, but I guess some people only care about holding onto power.
  16. Lord. It's really seems all the worse when you have a woman with so much power and she just goes along, instead of trying to change things.
  17. Some of the corroborating witnesses that Ramirez has are men. I know it's sad, but I think that will help her case.
  18. Yeah, but it wasn't exactly an allegation. She was advising the women on how to fit into his mold, which makes her complicit at least. How messed up is that?
  19. Yeah, but of course they don't. At least not until there are severe consequences, which is why so many of us cringe when we hear alcohol used as an excuse. These guys know they have behaved badly under the influence before, but they keep drinking.
  20. I did. I love watching Micheal Avenatti in action. Now Ronan Farrow has another accuse. This is going to be a better week because whatever the result the truth is out.
  21. Yes!!! Not that I think this will change the outcome, but I am pleased CBF will not have to stand alone.
