  1. @JaneAustenAl Jazeera does a lot of reporting on the situation in Palestine. I wouldn't exactly call it objective, but if you read the Times of Israel (also not objective) as well you can usually get some sense of the truth.
  2. Lindsey Graham is really off his rocker.
  3. Please let this guy win.
  4. Thanks. This is among the worst of 45's policies. Traumatizing children cannot be forgiven and it won't be forgotten by history. There is no justification.
  5. Me either, but I'll be thrilled to see some of these guys go to jail or bleed in civil court.
  6. Yeah, this whole thing has been a debacle right from the start. Not having Mark judge testify, not talking to all the credible accusers or supporting witnesses. None of that is confidence inspiring. Sure looks that way.
  7. Hell yes. I'm not as sure about Avenatti's client, but this woman deserves to be heard.
  8. I feel this way too.
  9. She absolutely deserves to be heard. What is the excuse for excluding her? https:// twitter.com/RBReich/status/1045761718482157568 I think his never Trump stance hurt him with rural Nebraska, but he'll continue to be elected here I think. Deb Fischer is even worse if that's possible. She never steps out of line. She may be a woman, but not for second did I think Ford's testimony would move her.
  10. It disgusts me that it's his choice. He should have been subpoenaed and questioned under oath.
  11. He is completely useless. He doesn't realize that the way he tries to play both sides without ever voting against 45's agenda makes him look weak. He should have been the one to call for the investigation, but I knew he wouldn't. ^ I suspect it was being confronted in the elevator that make him call for the investigation.
  12. No kidding. He cannot be counted on.
  13. ^ Maybe, but I'll take the delay and investigation. That gives the chance for pressure to mount and other victims to come forward if they exist. Damn right.
  14. Yes, he did. I really hope this is what happens.
  15. Looks like Flake is asking for a delay.
  16. This is truly horrific.
  17. Amen brother. I admit I fell for this a little bit. I knew that the post 9/11 period led to a serious erosion in privacy due to Bush, but I was pretty out of the loop just having started in the job market. I wasn't following the day to day on what they were up to, but I do know nearly a million people died in the ME due to their warmongering.
  18. Very true. I guess I was just hoping we wouldn't have another sexual deviant in the highest echelons of our government. Three known predators sends an awful message. It's further confirmation that you can prey on women, harass and disrespect them and still attain the highest offices in the land. I don't blame only men for this though. 52% of white women voters and 41% of all women voters, voted a known predator and racist into the presidency. Until more women get some self respect we will continue to be ruled by these awful and dangerous people.
  19. After all is said and done I do think they will confirm him. I hope to be pleasantly surprised.
  20. He should be held in contempt for not answering the questions put to him.
  21. This guy gives me the creeps. I can't believe anyone thinks he belongs on the court after witnessing this out of control, disrespectful testimony.
