DAYS: Behind the Scenes, Articles/Photos
Susan Hayes and Denise Alexander were really close during their time on Days. There were a lot of photos from them together in magazines at each other's homes cooking etc...When they did the lifetime tribute, Michael Fairman said Denise wanted to do it and express how much she felt about Susan....and Bill. I assume she a Denise are still good friends.

B&B: Old/Classic Discussion & Articles
Thanks for the info. They kept Moss around for decades and people complained he was wooden. I think Clayton was fine in the role. Norcross has carved out a career in Italy. If you google him, most of the stuff that has been written about him is in Italian. I remember when Macy first met Thorne it was still Norcross in the role. Then Trachta came on and Thorne and Macy became the singing couple ala Steve and Betty Jo Elliott on Petticoat Junction. Speaking of Moss, I read that article done a few months back that said the real reason he left B&B was because after an auto accident, his ability to memorize lines was shot. He also said he wished the show had left his character remain without a recast. The show also dumped Stephen Shortridge as Dave by the end of the first year. They could have used him in other pairings. Maybe Dave/Macy/Thorne ?

B&B: Old/Classic Discussion & Articles
I never understood why Judith Baldwin was replaced so quickly after the shows premiere. Does anyone know why the switch ? I wonder what Constance Towers would have been like as Beth Logan ? I don't think there was ever a reason given for the switch from Clayton Norcross to Jeff Trachta.

Rumors of Storylines/Casting/BTS
Speaking of Matt played by Robert Parucha......there was an actor that looked similar to him named John Darby. He was the boyfriend of Barker Beauty Holly Halstrom on the Price Is Right for a period in the mid 80's. It stated on TPIR that he was on Y&R and Capitol. I do not remember him on either show. I was in school then and only go to see the shows on breaks. Does anyone remember him and the roles he played ? I assume they were short stints. Here is a clip of him surprising Holly in a showcase in 1984.

Rumors of Storylines/Casting/BTS
I had read that rumor about Lilibet letting herself go on the old media domain boards. Supposedly she was an exercise instructor and nurse at one point in her life. There was also a story of a nasty divorce from her first husband and details about the home they were living in. She is now in real estate and looks good. She goes by her re-married last name Iken now.

I agree. A lot of episodes were written by David Jacobs (Dallas & Knots Landing).

Yes. A woman called them all one by one to meet at The Colonnade Room, but it was never revealed who it was.

Rumors of Storylines/Casting/BTS
Back in the mid 90's on Y&R when Bug was planning her wedding to Paul, they randomly started talking about Patty and they showed pics of Lilibet Stern while Mary and Bug looked at a photo album. Alex Donnelly was brought back as Diane Jenkins at that time. The history of Jack/Patty/Diane was brought up and Paul was ranting how Jack had hurt Patty. On the day of Bug & Paul's wedding, the phone started ringing after everyone had left for the church. They showed the back of a blonde woman in a phone booth calling. Then it was all dropped and Diane was put into Victor's orbit. I wonder if Lilbet Stern was asked to return and she declined ?

Game Shows
I always remember Peggy Cass as the hilarious big mouth mother of Abby, Gidget's rival in "Gidget Goes Hawaiian (1961)". Jeff Donnell (Stella on GH) was Gidget's mother and Carl Reiner was her father. Reiner and Donnell were great together. There is one scene where she is trying to feed him pineapple on the beach that makes me chuckle. Vicki Trickett was good as the snotty jealous Abby, but dropped out of acting to become a teacher according to her imdb bio. She was already a mother in real life when she won the role at age 22.

Dallas Discussion Thread
The Dallas Fanzine is an awesome page. They have a lot of rare behind the scenes photos. In one they show Victoria Principal on the set of the 1978 5 part mini series with the Box family maid. The interior of the Box mansion is different than what was shown on camera. They used a different interior (with the dark woodwork) from another house. The Box house had painted trim typical of colonial style homes like the permanent Southfork. It's a shame that house burned in 1987.

He did an appearance on that show with Vicki Lawrence called " The Cool Kids" and I saw him with the long hair and beard. He was almost unrecognizable till he spoke.

Y&R: Old Articles
Yes, it sad how cigarettes have taken so many lives. Bill also told the story when he met Lucille Ball in the 80's and she told him she loved watching the Turner Super Stations. By that time her voice was wrecked with cigarette smoking and she was lighting one up as she was talking to him. He was saddened to see what it had done to her. She was a hoot. Bill Tush said he didn't know the exact reason why Mike Douglas was let go, but speculated maybe Ted Turner and the other's in charge felt he was old hat from the 70's. I say Ted Turner also didn't have to pay Bill as much as Mike and figured a cost cutting measure.
