No. The girl that won I Wanna Be a Soap Star was involved in Shawn/Belle/Claire's kidnapping stuff I think?, but didn't get picked up past her initial episodes guarantee. The girl that played Morgan (Kristen Renton) was rumored to be sleeping with someone high up or at Sony. I think quite a few names have been bandied about, but I don't think anyone ever was sure. Once they broke up Morgan and her dad were gone.

Not that I want Orpheus back, but him being behind the Devil Possession makes about 1000 times more 'sense' than Colin Murphy lol.

I liked Morgan/Phillip lol🤣. I honestly didn't mind Morgan period. I know she was pushed because the actress was sleeping with someone important, but I liked her.

The only thing about Colin is that he had strong ties to Andre. So it's possible Colin would be involved if Andre is which ugh......... I am sure Marlena and Colin shared scenes though. He was a Dr. I believe. I wonder who they would get to play him. Justin Melvey has like 1 credit since 2005 so I am not sure he still acts. I don't think we need to know why the Devil came back to Marlena. It already explained it and it was enough for me. The initial exorcism didnt take and they had unfinished business. That is not on the top of my list of things that need to be explained to me further about this whole story lol. Seriously, Jennifer's outfit was awful. The one thing about Jen is I generally thought she dressed cute. Maybe if we saw the full outfit with the cut of the dress and shoes it would be better? Agree with those about her hair though. It looks good.

I mean, my expectations were low for the devil stuff so I get the criticism, but overall I find everything more watchable than it was even 6 months ago. There were many times when I would skip days/weeks because I hated everything and I am not saying days is running on all cylinders, but there is more than one story/one character/etc that I enjoy. Even when the devil stuff is ridiculous (and it is all the time) I can't say I am not entertained even if I am laughing at them. I have definite issues with Ron, but with the movie and spinoff show, I am feeling very positive about Days trajectory and it's been years since I thought that way.

I *believe* John said it was because MarDevil's power was weakening and that's why it couldn't easily break out of the ropes. Is this all of GV we are going to see? It really wasn't an exorcism it was like 4 scenes of trying and poor Eric didn't even get a flashback with Marlena lol. This can't be the end of all the devil stuff. And to be on the opposite side of pretty much everyone, I don't think the show is that bad. I already knew the Devil story was going to be crap so it's fine, but I am actually finding the show more watchable than it was a few months ago. I don't love any particular story, but day to day it seems to flow better.

Lol! This cap is hilarious. I really thought Chad Duell was a cutie when he debuted. He hasn't aged well and that hair does not help at all. It has JKJ/Phillip vibes to me which is not good.

I strongly dislike Hattie and always have except when Andrea Hall played her. The work I have seen from DH in the 70's/80's was fantastic! I was actually shocked how good she was. I wonder if not even getting a emmy nominee for the first Possession just took the wind out of her sails. I think after that she just fell into this cheesy, comfortable thing with Drake and just went with what was easy and her fans liked. Unfortunately, this all could have been avoided had they said Stacy's Kristen was Kristen with plastic surgery to begin with. Then, at least on the main show, Kristen appearing to these people as ED's Kristen makes sense because that was her appearance at the time.

I agree Marlena comes off like Hattie, but I actually don't think that's Deidre's fault. The Devil was written like Hattie with glowing eyes and a deep voice. I agree Deidre acting has regressed and become more silly and campy as the years have gone on, but it's honestly hard for me to compare the acting. The whole premise/vibe of the previous Possession was so different. Marlena spent less time torturing the town and most of the time trying to seduce Father John and I think that type of story works a little better for Deidre. Not the seductress part lol, but the love story part. Anyway, I did like today's episode and I am glad people (at least Marlena's family) are taking it seriously. It's a true pacing issue if this is the end, but again, I knew this was going to be awful so I can appreciate the few things I did like.

This does seem like a quick resolution for everything. The last Exorcism went on forever and ever. I liked her family coming together and the flashbacks, but the first Exorcism had so much drama and pathos and fake death. Idk, I have a hard time believing RC would resolve this that easily. I am hopeful for at least a break from the devil for a minute.

I used to laugh in 2010 ish when Michael was getting into fights and on the verge of getting kicked out of school and telling us the kids in school were scared of him. Young Chad looked like a hangdog puppy that needed a hug 99% of the time lol. Spinelli seems more threatening than Duell's Michael. I know CD has to pay for his multiple quickie divorces, but I think it's time to recast. It would be lovely to find an actor who has chemistry with a single women on the cast.

The Michael is tough and has a temper thing has been going on for at least a decade. DG's Michael seemed like a rage monkey, but once they cast Duell as Michael and kept him as a tough guy getting into fights it never worked. CD has never been believable as scary or threatening.

I didn't think yesterday's show was awful. I already had low expectations for this Possession story and the Exorcism, so it's not any worse than I thought it would be. I'm not raving about it, but it is in the range of what I expected with budget and what not. I love John/Sami together. It's one of the more complex, long standing relationships on the show and I like when they get to interact like they did yesterday. They really have such a complicated history and work well together. Jules and Carver are the cutest babies ever! But Lani is really annoying. She has every right to be angry, but Paulina was only part of the problem. It was a deception that involved 3 women and roped in an innocent Abe, but Paulina is getting all the blame. And Lani's reactions to Paulina come off childish and petty.

Yeah definitely, but they were sort of setting that up when 'kristen' was seducing John saying she seduced Eric. There is no reason on earth Eric would be tempted by real or fake Kristen because that was never a thing.

Drake takes this stuff deadly seriously for sure. And let's be real, he's the only character that does in this story, so I do think it works.

Agreed. That's where I kinda thought Shawn started acting dumb with the Jan mess, but he at least showed some smarts when he was first cast. Beemer is definitely classically hotter, but Jason Cook was always cute. I always thought he was a great casting choice as Bo/Hope son. He had a nice blue collar earnestness about him that worked well.

I thought Cook's Shawn was intelligent at least in the beginning. Like he always knew Hope was Gina when Bo didn't. I thought JC was good on GH too when they allowed him to have a story. BB is definitely sexier, but he's always been wasted on MM, whohe has little chemistry with.

Am I the only grossed out by the Kristen morphing because it's actually his mom? I know she's morphing into Kristen, but Jan was still Jan even though she morphed into Belle so wouldn't this be Marlena just morphed into Kristen making out with her own son?

I have said my piece about MM a million times, but I will agree she looks a lot like Deidre Hall I also agree she's a good actress but she is/was very mature and almost matronly. Plus, she used to have the worst haircuts in the mid 2000s. I find Shawn/Belle to be very sexless as a couple. They've never had that chemistry together. Kirsten and Jason had good chemistry together, so that saved that pairing to me in the beginning even if I wasn't a huge KS fan either. She did sort of embody the innocence and sweetness you would think Jarlena's golden child would have. I thought Jason Cook was fabulous as Shawn though, but BB has never bothered me much either. Although he does make Shawn seem dumber.

Shawn/Belle were written for ad nauseum for years. I agree they deserve story now, but they burned through about 10 plus years of stories in about 2 years back in the day. It's not like they have always been criminally ignored as a couple. I just don't think they are leading couple material, but they are more interesting than half the couples on the show. Obviously that's faint praise though lol. Y'all are being so hard on the devil stuff today. I thought it was hilarious and entertaining. Missy's hair looks good like that and that's all I have to say about Jen.

I find Carrie/Austin more exciting although that's mostly because of Carrie. Austin and Shawn are similar, but Carrie is more exciting than Belle even though I admit they are similar as well. Just Carrie/Sami's dynamic alone makes Carrie > Belle. To be clear, Shawn/Belle deserve to be on the show and used more, but they just don't do much for me. John fighting the Devil was fantastic lol. That's the entertaining camp I need because Drake sure takes this Mardevil thing seriously and he is not afraid to give it his all. I actually think these type of stories work to Drake's 'strengths' because he can just let it all go.

Belle's always been boring. Shawn seems to like that. I mean BB is hot, but is Shawn really all that exciting either lol? Crazy Jan needs to find her own crazy partner. Shawn's not worth her trouble.

Both Ava's intro and the beginning of John as RoboJohn was good. Both stories honestly had potential. I don't really remember the pairing very well, but I do remember the back and forth between Marlena and John was extremely repetitive and tiresome. I did enjoy snarky RoboJohn though. Anyway, I enjoyed TB's first run as Ava a lot, but she has no purpose now. I don't even know how to fix her at this point. She really doesn't fit on the canvas.

I had the same question about JKJ, but I can't find the answer. I want to say no, but it did seem like an ending of sorts. At least for awhile. I did a minor check on other boards and online and couldn't find anything definitive, so I assume he will be back. Maybe it's a break like EM/Brady and GV/Eric and Sarah did a year or so ago.

Yeah, I guess it was time for her to move on from Steve, but I do think they should interact more. Or Kayla/Ava should butt heads more or at least be snarky to one another. TB is lovely and my favorite Carly, but there was no reason or plan when they brought her back. Honestly, it might have been better if they brought her back as Taylor at this point. Thanks, I thought Ava/John were at least sleeping together but it was so random and never spoken of again I thought I might be wrong. The whole RoboJohn story started so well and went off the rails later on.
