I think the set up for Dante/Liz is cringe. DZ/BH have some chemistry, but that was to be expected from those two. There needs to be more to the story than they just started to like each other one day after knowing one another for years. Some sort of catalyst that unexpectedly brings them together-not Fizz getting into a dog fight lol. Dante quickly deciding he has no interest in Lulu because she's been dating Nathan for 5 minutes is a real let down. And is Liz dropping Ric? Glad we wasted months on nothing happening there. I was a little confused about Molly and her endometriosis. Was it a secret? Cody had to know Molly had difficulty getting pregnant because Kristina was her surrogate. Did he not put 2 and 2 together? They have been dating for a while now he never asked why Kristina had to carry a child for TJ/Molly? And one of my pet peeves is characters putting off fairly minor medical procedures to be in pain instead. Molly, the dr. only suggested surgery to alleviate the problem she didn't ask to remove your uterus or your arm. Just do it or pass out and be in debilitating pain every month until you are 50 lol.

Ethan is absolutely useless to me but I did like BB's Johnny making fun of his hair all the time. That was a cute little bromance. I actually was an advocate for him and LA's Kristina ala Robin/Jason when she finally looked old enough.

I actually thought Dante/Liz were okay today, but after @ranger1rg posts I deep dived BH's hair situation so perhaps that says more than anything. They will be a likeable couple with low stakes.

Was it like a clip on hair piece? I have never noticed BH's hair to be thin like some of the other cast. Oh, ETA...that does look weird. Lol. I didn't even notice during the show. I wonder if Becky cut her hair or something and those clip ons were fix until she can reveal new hair because I think it's been the same day for awhile in PC time.

The whole conception is weird in the first place and then the strange stronghold with Valentin is weird too. It's like Charlotte has Stockholm Syndrome or something. I thought her hair looked fine? I didn't see anything wrong with it. BH has curly hair so it may just be a matter of styling?

Fizz is my favorite character on the show. He gets to hang out with shirtless Gio, Dante takes him on walks, and he almost makes Sonny look cute. See @Vee's avatar. I mean, if Frank ever goes over budget just cast cute dogs instead of annoying humans.

Lol. You have clearly a better thought process than any of the current writers. I honestly wouldn't notice if Jacinda disappeared with Kristina in "the closet"

I think Guza would immediately speed dial Vanessa, but perhaps not frontline Sonny. He would push Brenda and probably Jason/Brenda. I don't think Guza was ever a huge fan of Sonny/Brenda and preferred Jax/Brenda. It was more of a default than love to put them together. He prefers his own creations/couplings. I also think he would dump a lot of characters. He'd probably bring back Morgan though lol. I wouldn't mind a more Dante focused show. Not Dante all day, everyday like 2010, but used properly at least. Plus, Guza would go for Dante/Lulu for sure and position Dante as the leading man instead of whatever he is now. You have points on Jill and I think she has done some good work. My biggest issue is that she appears to hate women and anyone over a certain age. I would prefer a woman in this male dominated industry to stand up for women not kill them off or fire them.

Yeah, I agree Frank does tributes quite well and does value his vets a lot more than JFP did. I would still say GH is the most watchable soap on air, although I don't watch Beyond the Gates. Things could absolutely be worse, but I think the show has the ability to be so much better with its cast and characters. Guza's writing team would probably be better than the man himself. He would immediately move Carly, Jason, and Sonny front and center (if Steve returns). Guza just had the ability to keep things exciting. Sure, there were plenty of errors, but sweeps rarely disappointed. In the end I don't think Guza was a bad writer and had great ideas-I think he got burnt out and overstayed his welcome. I know Frank is great with the budget, but I have to believe a new EP could cull the cast, still keep the same look and be in line monetarily. It's more depressing to me to think FV probably has this job until he wants to leave because certain characters will never be back, certain couples will never get back together, and certain characters will always be favored. Plus 10 more babies will be born lol. It's the same predictable cycle year after year.

That's fair. I am not necessarily advocating for her return lol. I tend to romanticize Guza/JFP's era, but I remember hating most of it at the time. I would still probably take Guza back and certainly Wendy Riche although I doubt either is looking for a long-term job at their ages. GH is certainly very watchable still, but I think I despise Frank's run more than JFP's. They both are bad, but it seems Frank gets praised for his stale work. To me, GH gets by with being under budget and keeping the status quo going. No risks are taken at all. And while it seems like Frank is probably a nicer guy to work for he still hires his buddies as often as JFP did.

I don't think JFP's tenure was a massive failure or anything. She dropped the ball with women-ie Vanessa and Genie, but the show moved at a quick pace and looked good. She's definitely not here for the women, but she was also mostly sidelined by Guza by the end of her run and a de-facto figure.

I mean, yes, bribing Britt with life saving meds is gross, but can't she use regular treatments? Isn't she using experimental treatments that aren't even available to regular people that have this disease? Unless Britt is supposed to be a special princess that deserves having this medicine, I don't really see a problem. There are other options for her besides being a criminal.

I think Scott just disappeared. I know Kin had an injury and surgery, but I think we are to assume he is still in town? Someone correct me if I am wrong though.

Maybe Finola really likes that picture of her and Lynn lol. They have enough friends in common for me to buy they may be closer than what is shown on screen. Lucy doesn't appear that often and for all we know Anna/Lucy were off screen having girls night for years lol. Yeah, I am prepared for Jacinda/Kristina, but Mansi did not like being paired with Blaze, so maybe the punishment of getting no story for a year or so made Mansi change her views lol. Lucky being in the WSB would have been amazing. I understand the idea of a large cast and trying to make the PC world seem bigger. With the cast being so bloated you lose focus. There are too many characters to juggle so no one wins. GH could legitimately fire 10-15 people, hire or re-hire pivotal characters and run under the same budget with tighter storytelling.

There were obviously places to go with Brennan, but the show stalled on the character. I am sure there were some backstage issues that affected the character's trajectory, but GH never knows when to cut their losses with a character. They constantly do this with characters that really only have a short term purpose because the actor was once on OLTL or in a primetime show 2 decades ago.

I don't think it's McKenna or Mesure's fault. Brennan has always been a C level character. I frankly can't believe the character has lasted this long. Well, I can because of Frank things. Mesure and Wright were okay together, but Laura Wright tends to have some chemistry with everyone she's paired with unless their names are Mo or Steve lol. I even think she has a little chemistry with JPS, but Valentin is awful. Anyhow, I just feel like Brennan's a character that basically has gone nowhere. He was never fully integrated into the cast and pops up to do some WSB stuff, romance Carly a bit, and have the same conversations over and over with the same 4 or 5 people. I immediately thought Kristina had a crush on Jacinda and it does seem like it's headed for a triangle. Honestly, it would be nice if Kristina actually had a friend she wasn't related to as well. Unless Mansi's chilled out in the last year or so, I don't see how Jacinda would be an upgrade for day player Blaze in KM's mind. I wonder if the picture of Lucy/Anna replaced another picture from Anna's office. Perhaps someone that is no longer on the show? I would have to check back at older scenes, which I won't lol, but I don't recall it always being there.

Jacinda being a former "hooker"/"sex worker"/"escort" or whatever is the least of the characters problems lol.

Does anyone think the show will go back to Michael/Willow? I would be kind of disappointed since I don't think Rory/Katelyn have much chemistry, although I know some people are hoping for an Alan/Monica dynamic. I tend to wonder if this Chase/Willow and Michael/Hooker stuff is just to waste time before it becomes Michael/Drew/Willow again.

That's what I always heard as well. It was the Labine proposed spin off. Ned/Lois would be such an odd fit for PC.

Hmm...interesting. I have never heard that before nor do I remember Ned/Lois ever being part of promos. I would love to read or see them if you can direct me anywhere.

Ned/Lois were never supposed to be part of Port Charles to my knowledge. They were going to be in Claire Labine's proposed spinoff that was set in Bensonhurst. ABC passed on that and went with GH2/PC instead.

Lol! I was thinking of the dead dayplayer lady's baby from this week. But why not give Brook Lynn 4 babies and an adult son?
