I've gone from really loving KO's Coronation Street to really hating it. Mary and this ridiculous storyline. Anna/Phelan/Faye/Seb bs. Gary's affair. Now this nonsense with Billy and his past. The show has gone off the rails and I find myself not closely following any of the UK soaps these days.

What's everyone's opinion on this war of words between Lavar Ball and Donald Trump? I don't follow sports so I'm not familiar with the guy, but it's quite delicious seeing someone take on the orange one without any [!@#$%^&*] to give....

The sad part about it is that the show just finished one rape storyline, which was preceded by another rape storyline.

Prediction: Debbie will become the next lady of Home Farm thanks to this new Tom guy.

Fascinating episode. Quite a bit of eye candy, most notably Warren. Didn't know Corbett was on SFT before going to Y&R as David Kimble.

Pierce, Gordon, etc. so wasted potential male leads.

So much yes to this. Rhona's rape turned me off because of the brutal scenes that took place. However I did tune back in for the trial which I actually liked watching. Now that I've learned that Paddy and Rhona are in the process of reuniting, the story involving Pierce has forever left a bad taste in my mouth. This would be the SECOND rape story on this show used to reunite a couple on this show. The first being Robron. It's overkill, lazy, and just plain offensive. McLeod started off pretty strong, but his tenure at this moment has stalled and I honestly can say that I want Kate Oates back.

For me the show lost all steam after Ashley died. There was some interest there when it seemed like Emma might get found out by Faith, but everything has been piss poor since then. I could care less about the triangle involving Pete (which was random and came out of nowhere).

That was a pretty damn good episode.

Totally don't know this Andy character (as I had just started watching after he had "died") but he does look cute.

I've always thought that if one was going to campaign against Trump a great song to use during the campaign trail would be Creedance Clearwaters "Fortunate Son" which basically is a F-U to people like Trump.
