Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
It's crazy! I understand that typically you don't make much from doing a talk show appearance, but you have to offer them SOMETHING. Like Alex said, if you won't even showcase her products and you aren't paying her, what is she doing it for?? With that said, I wish Andy would call Alex up. She would handle herself well on Watch What Happens Live and she was an asset to the show.

Yeah, it definitely seems like she dumped Alex on her way to the top. Alex was the only HW to appear on Bethenny's spin-off as well. I think Bethenny should've invited Alex to talk about her new kitchen products and then used that as an opening to later do a reunion show.

RHOC doesn't get the credit it deserves in terms of ratings. Until this season, ATL and NJ were in a league of their own. Beverly Hills is nowhere close to being where those two are in the ratings. During the first season of RHOBH, it had lower ratings than DC for some episodes and it's past season had similar ratings to RHOC. Neither are flops, but RHOBH doesn't deserve it's status. With all it's buzz and press their ratings should be the same as ATL. I definitely think Diana, Marlo and the other "bride"maid's are keeping people tuned in. I don't think Marlo has been central enough to say she's the only reason, but she's a part of it. Where Marlo really had an impact was on season 4 of RHOA. She was a major source of tension in those later episodes and during that classic reunion.

Andy's sorry ass waited until August to thank her for her Christmas card as well. I found that tacky. It seems like once he saw the tapes for I Dream of Nene, he knew he couldn't resist her and tried to get back in her good graces.

Marlo WON the costume contest at the party Kenya threw for the season 5 finale. By cutting that, it speaks volumes. SHe was clearly blacklisted and it was stupid. Everything Marlo said in the classic season 4 reunion came true! And she wasn't there to enjoy that! Plus, I feel that she was more relatable to the ladies so the reactions felt real. Her stuff with Kim and Kandi was natural because they were dealing with real issues. Kenya doesn't work for me because we know she's acting and THEY know she's acting so nobody really pays her much mind. How long can we play the "Crazy Kenya" story? And then Porsha is just too out of her element to make an impact.

I still think season 4 of NYC was good and it did have good ratings. They should've taken the complaints and done a slight revamp, but not make the show seem like such a failure. Look how dark and crazy NJ has gotten and they refuse to make changes. They ruined a good thing with NYC.

New Jersey needed a reboot two seasons ago and they knew it. I don't understand why they went into the current season wi thout any changes. You can't center a season around a rumor of something that may or may not have happened years ago with all of this happening off screen. It was different with Cop with a Badge because it was a book and we know there was truth to it. I felt the same way about NJ last season. WHO CAREs if Melissa was a stripper? This stuff should be summed up in an reunion question like when Nene was revealed as a stripper. Beyond that, you had the EXACT same stories in circles and it was unwatchable. I can't believe they survived last season.

The fact that they filmed this gold before RHOA and STILL didn't have the good sense to make Marlo a HW shows they are nuts. It's their loss. I'd take Marlo over Kenya and Porsha anyday.

Married to Medicine
I'm glad Dr. Jackie is back, I worried she would pass on a second season. Her and Simone make this show for me. I must say, I'm a little disappointed Kari won't be continuing. I wouldn't have minded if they shifted her to RHOA.

New Marlo interview with some effortless shade: http://cocoafab.com/exclusive-marlo-hampton-dishes-on-nenes-wedding-crazy-bridesmaids-style-secrets/ There are so many reasons to watch I Dream of Nene: The Wedding and one of the biggest reasons is the return of Marlo Hampton to the small screen. It has been a while since we watched her on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and now she’s back to help her friend get down that aisle…again. In an exclusive interview with CocoaFab, Marlo dishes details on the lavish wedding, crazy bridesmaids and secrets to her sexy style. “My style comes from my mother. She couldn’t afford expensive things when I was little but we would go to the Goodwill to get our outfits and she would come home and clean them and press them really good,” she says. “When I tell you we were the best dressed kids, it was crazy because we had things from the Goodwill. One of the key things is accessories. It’s all about accessories like bracelets or scarves or hats or earrings and I just go with it.” According to Marlo, she’s not as high-maintenance as she seems. “I just go with what feels good. Me and my stylist get into it sometimes because I believe it doesn’t have to match it just has to look good,” she says. “I wasn’t always able to afford labels. I do like them, but I don’t have to have them all the time. A piece I buy at TJ Maxx will get mixed with Chanel.” The starlet is serious about her passion for fashion. “I love all designers. I love anything that blings. I love pearls, I love patterns, I love it all.” Marlo met Nene long before she shot to superstardom and even had a hand in her style transformation. “I owned a boutique and I styled Nene for her first episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” she reveals. “She looks beautiful. I know Nene admires a lot of my style and fashion sense and that’s where a lot of it came from but I love it. I think these are some of the best years of her life as in appearance and fashion.” Her expert opinion came in handy since Nene’s girls were asked to design their own dresses for her big day. Marlo’s style savvy scored her a gig as the wedding’s Creative Director. “I got to help her pick out linens and pick out the design for the wedding and flowers and crystals and all of that,” she says. “That’s what a lot of the girls don’t realize is that I was a bridesmaid and the creative director of this wedding.” The other girls didn’t always appreciate Marlo’s efforts and last week was just the beginning of the battle between the bridesmaids. We expected some drama to unfold with the all-star line up of bridesmaids in the mix, but no one could have predicted the shade we saw on last week’s episode. Diana Gowins didn’t mince words with the fashionista and a few other friends she doesn’t approve of for Nene. You know I was really shocked. She caught me by surprise. I’m like, ‘are you serious?’ I was just really appalled,” she said of Diana’s catty comments. ”Diana has a single black female thing going on. I have never in my life seen a woman be that protective of and that crazy over another woman having friends.” Diana didn’t understand why Nene would ask certain women to join her wedding party and called Marlo an “opportunist” to her face in the shady showdown. “I think Diana is just really cuckoo and needs to get a mental evaluation. It’s just really bogus and the girl is just crazy,” she says. “I had met Dianna before because my friend has kids and Diana has two by a married man so I met her before at the baseball field. I thought we were cool,” she said. “If Diana had any sense, she would be trying to be my friend so I could help her out with her fashion. We may have trouble trying to style a linebacker though, she’s a little too wide.” Marlo admits she was caught off guard, but he should be used to her haters by now. “For her to try to act like she’s living in this glass house and she’s not living in one and you just wanna sit and put accusations on me and what I’m doing and how i afford my lifestyle–i just think it’s so hilarious. I’m like, ‘don’t you have children by a married man? Are you serious right now?’ I mean that’s awful.” While she says the ladies were watching her every move, some should be more worried about their own behavior. “No matter what you can say you’re never gonna hear about Marlo dating a married man. Thats a no no. Not at all.” Marlo’s days on RHOA didn’t prepare her for this much drama. “You never know what the hell to expect because you never know whats gonna come out of someone’s mouth. When I was with Diana that day for brunch I was seriously shocked,” she admits. “Like, day one? For real? You’re gonna go here seriously? Can’t you just get to know me?” We’ll get to watch the rest of the drama unfold on this week’s episode of I Dream of Nene: The Wedding, and according to Marlo, it’s gonna be a doozey. - See more at: http://cocoafab.com/exclusive-marlo-hampton-dishes-on-nenes-wedding-crazy-bridesmaids-style-secrets/#sthash.0j8bcmcV.dpuf

Supertrailer for the second half of RHOM S3: http://www.bravotv.com/the-real-housewives-of-miami/season-3/videos/the-i-dos-have-yet-to-be-said?CID=RHOM_VID ETA: WHAT HAPPENED TO THE REST OF MY POST?! Basically I was gushing about how that trailer was giving me EVERYTHING. It looks like things are going to build to a satisfactory conclusion. I just hope Adriana and Lea do reconcile.

Oh I agree! I'm enjoying Miami, but it doesn't have that same energy as last season.

I didn't find Ana boring. Not too exciting, but good enough for a first season. I liked the different types of relationships she had with the ladies, that's where she had the most to offer. I LOVED seeing Ana with Joanna, because I thought she brought out a softer side to her.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
This season sucks for Miami. The combination of 5 makes no sense and Marysol has appeared enough that she needs to be a housewife. The lack of supporting characters has also hurt the show. It seems too isolated and focused on just the weddings and Lea vs Adriana with the only other major story being the fuckery with Alexia's family. I'm glad Alexia is back, but she needs to be one of 7 housewives, not one of 5. By having her as part of a smaller cast, that means we have to see more of her and it's just too cringeworthy to watch her family for extended periods of time. Anytime Peter is on screen I'm revolted. I also think it was a HUGE HUGE mistake to get rid of Ana. If anything, they should've pushed for Ana vs Lea, not Lea vs Adriana. Adriana was a popular character for her and I think this story is damaging her too much. The way these shows are scripted I don't think we have the real story about Adriana's marriage. I feel like Lea knew about it and played along because it suited the original story Bravo wanted to tell.

Well one shock for me is seeing these early episodes so heavily deal with Eve's past and I know this wasn't revealed until 2004. I have no idea how they'll stretch it out that long. From the beginning they setup Chad as Eve and Julian's son, setup Chad/Whitney and already had people finding out about Eve. I had assumed we'd learn this information as a slower pace, but the episodes I'm watching now make it seem like Eve will be revealed soon.

Now that Gretchen and Alexis are gone, what do yall want for RHOC Season 9? I don't want a huge shakeup, because the previous season was so good. Right now they have 4 strong wives (Vicki, Heather, Tamra, Lydia) which is a good base to start with. I'd beg Lauri to become a regular (she can take Gretchen's place as Vicki's new rival), bring on one newbie and try to get Jeana back full-time at all costs. That would be perfection IMO, but it's not what will happen I'm sure.

Melissa just needs to do like me and buy Poo-Pourri. There will be no smell. If that stuff from her book is true, then it must be a parody. I can't believe somebody let her release that.

I love Passions! I'm watching the show from the beginning and right now I'm in May 2000. The episode I just watched was the debut for Y&R star Brenda Epperson as Crystal, a friend from Eve's past. The show is too repetitive, but is still very interesting and fresh. Plus I haven't reached the beginning of the crazy recasts yet.

The View is so far away from what the original lineup was, even Elizabeth's role was more as the Republican than being the young one. I don't think the panel makes any sense so I'd just like Ana there to have a housewife in the mix. Then maybe next year she can join RHONY. Looking long term, I could see Whoopi, Sherri, Jenny, Katie (Couric) and Ana being a good lineup.

I read an article that The View wants their final slot to be filled by a latina. Considering this is the second time Ana is appearing, without RHOM to promote, I'd say she obviously has a good shot at getting that position. Why else would they have her back on? I wish her luck!
