It's called "The Perfect Art of Imperfection: My Life So Far."
So far Michael Fairman has a review on it, and, It's a bit shocking what she says about what went down on DAYS during her last stint and how it affected her.

From what was written in the review, I totally buy what was said about Alfonso.

Not to take away from the contents but that's a horribly ugly cover. That looks like one of those rock albums from 15 years ago that you find on sale in a CD bin for .99.

Yeah, Crystal, everyone really wants to see you naked. This is how people end up exiled to Logo.

I like Chappell, but...
I'll stick with Team Alfonso ![]()

I know other actors who would problems at DAYS with said individuals, so I'll side with Crystal on that one.
And at GL, everyone thought they were better than everyone else, so I really cannot take sides there.

From what I've observed of CC on twitter she's a self entitled, self absorbed bitch and I have not one lick of sympathy for her.
If KA was a bitch to her, I really doubt it was one sided

Agreed. I don't think anyone is an innocent in any of this but, with all the stuff Crystal admits to about herself, you can't say she's not a loon.

Frankly, I'm always suspicious about this-or-that celebrity's need to share with the rest of the world their struggles with addiction and other forms of self-destructive behavior. Are they doing it because they truly need catharsis and healing, or are they doing it merely to continue the cycle of adoration and self-gratification with their followers?
Then again, I come from a place and kind of folk where, if you had troubles in your personal life, you dealt with them privately and anonymously. Not because you were supposed to feel shame, but just b/c you don't put your business in the street, as they say.
And as CC's battles with several of her co-stars: look, I think we all can agree that actors often are insufferable beasts and that, with rare exception, battles between them are hardly ever one-sided. KA, PR and others might have given CC a difficult time throughout her career, but she probably gave them reason to be difficult, too. As Mama Khan would say: there's her story, his story, and the truth.

I've wondered about this too. Is the rationale, "Well, people are interested in me; therefore I will share with them the intimate details of my life." Hmm. God knows I'm nosy and I enjoy "dish" and there are celebrities who fascinate me and whose personal lives I would love to know more about. But they don't owe me anything. I don't slight them if they don't share. Khan, if you or I (or All My Shadows!) or any of us were famous, there are certainly some GREAT stories we could tell. But some things I would never share beyond my family and circle of friends. Do some people just get off on telling all their business? Must catharsis be so public?

Y'know...I kind of get why someone like Kim Zimmer or Susan Lucci gets some kind of book deal---they are names in the industry across generations of fans. Is CC truly in that class, or is this simply more of a hook to keep her Otalia/Venice undies buying public shelling out more money to support this "ground-breaking entrepreneur"?

Frankly, I felt like even KZ was a stretch. If I were an editor for a publishing company, I'd be more inclined to publish a memoir from, say, Genie Francis than I would KZ.

And a cover with someone's (CC's?) bare ass on the front definitely puts the "vanity" in "vanity press."

It was self-published, you can only get it as a PDF on Chappell's own site, not even amazon.com.
I think different people have different comfort levels with sharing private stories. When it comes to CC getting along with people, well who gets along with all of their coworkers all of the time. Actors have egos, so at times they will clash like the rest of us and unlike normal jobs they can't always just quit.

So basically it's just a blog.
