I keep getting the error I've pasted below 95% of the time when trying to reach the main page of the forum, it happens when I use IE 7 and Firefox.

SFK and MichealGL, Me too, same threads as well, it's frustrating I get IE blank page after I get bumped off the board, really frustrating cause it's fun to read some of the reponses and answers.

I get it on the Y&R potpuri thread too and I just got it on the ATWT July thread. I don't know why. They only thing I posted was a youtube video..maybe thats why I can no longer see that thread. Does posting youtube videos now make some the threads appear with forum errors??

Something seriously needs to be done. The board is taking forever to load with Firefox, that's when I first click on the link to come to the board.

It now takes over a minute for it to load, yet with IE it doesn't take any time to load at all.

It's getting frustrating and irritating, I don't use IE, I hate that browser.

This board is not Firefox friendly at all

Is ANYTHING going to be done about what I mentioned previously? This is beyond ridiculous, it's taking longer and longer with Firefox now to load the main page.

I have to click on one of the discussion threads links on the main board just to even access the board.

Sorry to hear you are still having problems. Thank gawd I am not having them anymore. My computer got a bad virus and had it sent to get fixed. Got everything cleaned out and added more memory to my computer and havent had any problems with SON.

Sounds like since the upgrade it made the forums less Firefox compatible, and I'm even having trouble using IE on the boards too.

I use Firefox and I have zero problems in that regard. You're using the latest version?

I'm using the latest version which to my knowledge is 3.5.2......

ZF are you using any FF extensions?

Just adblock plus, and I do have the google and yahoo toolbars as part of the FF browser.

I'm using adblock plus too and I just tried disabling it which helped a teeny tiny bit but not enough to leave it disabled. I liked SON better before this upgrade and Invision Boards should have done better testing before releasing this new version.

I agree, and disabling only helps a teeny bit, not much overall.

There are two things I'm going to see about getting done this weekend. Another new version of the board is out, so 1 is to upgrade to it. 2. is to have Invision check out our Database and see if there are any issues within it.

Okay, yesterday I had everything uninstalled from Firefox, Adblock, Google and Yahoo toolbars and the page loaded instantaniously. I load them back on and same problem occurs.

I have something with my anti-virus called "Private Browsing" I turn that on and the main page loads instantly. What the heck is going on? LOL

Not that I'm complaining, it's just so freaky
