I thought Gina Tognoni did an awesome job today. I really don't blame her for being pissed at Mallet. He could have told her what was going on around the times they were engaged. It's kind of a contrieved story to say the least, but I'll take whatever stops this wedding and be thankful for it.

Blake and Jeffery, I just don't care about them. I wanted Blake to STFU when she was talking to Cassie though. Don't get in the way of our Cash, !@#$%^&*]! j/k (kinda).

Josh and Cassie were cute as always.

I can't believe Ava fell for Olivia's bs today. I hope they go ahead and make them Mother/daughter though.

I missed Jon/Tammy and Lizzie. It's never a great GL day for me without them.

I think Gina has another Emmy tape for next year in that episode. She showed alot of range.

ITA about Gina. She was incredible yesterday. She showed such a range of emotions. My heart just broke for Dinah. If that isn't emmy worth material then I don't know.

Good to see that I wasn't the only one that wanted Blake to STFU when she was talking with Cassie :angry: . Where does Blake get the nerve ? I love Jeffrey but where does he get the right to be all righteous with Cassie :angry: ? I couldn't stand the way that he was talking to her.

Loved Cassie and Josh yesterday. They were so adorable. The tension in the air between them was incredible. I can't wait to see more.

Take Care,

Welcome to the boards Dayna!!

Thanks Josh :D . I decided to come and peek over on this board. It appears to be a CASH friendly board which is nice to see. I'm a long time soap fan - been watching on and off for about 20 years. I can't wait to talk more.

Take Care,

Yesterday's episode was kinda hit and miss for me, but it was a episode that I liked the most outside of the spectacular Wednesdays episodes they put on.

I liked the Blake and Vanessa interaction. Talk about a sight for sore eyes. Two FAMILAR seldom seen characters over the age of 35 having a conversation other than Reva/Billy/Josh.

I liked the way yesterday's episode was directed.

I like the new(or shall I say old?) set that is the boathouse.

I LOVED Gina Tognoni yesterday. She was brilliant yesterday. Absolutely on the top of her game. This was another episode that could get her another Emmy win. IMHO if the show wants to keep giving GT this kind of material, they need to get her away from Mallet, and pair her up with Alan-Michael (not Jeffrey). So much story potential for that coupling than the coupling that Dinah is in now. From what I've seen lately, her pairing with Mallet is just a dead end for the character.

Speaking about Alan-Michael, even though I don't like the guy that plays him that much, he is dangerously underused. Alan-Michael is terribly being wasted IMO.

Welcome Dayna! It's always nice to have more GL fans here. This is a Cash friendly board. There are several people here who like them. I feel a little bad for Reva, but she is bringing this oner herself. Not to mention the woman has married Josh's brother and father, so I can forgive Josh for this one. He and Cassie are pretty hot together.

Is it just me or does Mallet/Dinah's conflict seem like recently re-written history? I wasn't watching the show back when they first met, but I am pretty frickin' sure he wasn't keeping tabs on her and reporting to the FBI. Was he?

Despite how convoluted the plot twist may be and how absurd the storytelling is, Gina Tognoni CONTINUALLY hits it out of the ballpark and makes me feel like Dinah is a human being, even more so than that last girl that played her. Wendy who?

Her and Rob Bogue make Dinah and Mallet one of the most realistic couples in daytime.

Cassie and Josh were SO hot yesterday. Reva sucks. I want LOTS and LOTS of Cash(can't believe I'm using a couple acronym, but I SO love this one).

That had to have been the easiest paycheck Kurt McKinney made in his life. Hehehe. But Matt is SUCH an [!@#$%^&*]. Dinah tried to ruin you and Vanessa's lives how many years ago? Yeah, I thought so. GET OVER IT!

Vanessa and Olivia's scenes were great too.

The musical montage was good too. But I think Gus just likes to be rough and tumble in bed anyway. Notice how he pulls Harley's hair.

Overall, REALLY great episode.

I love Bradley Cole, but don't like Jeffrey. I loved him as Richard but he's just icky as Jeffrey. I don't know, it's like he is at a dead end. I really like Cassie and Josh together, they are pretty smokin.

Gina Tognoni is one of those actresses who consistently delivers. I would like to see her paired with someone other than Mallet. I like him, but I still see him in the Foxwoods commercials. (Anyone living in the Connecticut area will know what I mean).

What did mallet do to Dinah because it seems convoluted from the spoilers?

I agree with you Bellcurve. Mallet was not filing FBI reports on Dinah from the beginning it's just not credible. He said his reason was to keep her out of jail, even though he barely knew her. He just "felt" she didn't belong in jail. Whatever. THey just needed a reason to break up this engagment and you know what? I'll take it.

Is AM the one who put the reports on the web for all to see? Wouldn't the FBI have an interest in catching whover made their files public? Best not to think to deeply here, I guess. God knows the writer's didn't.

yeah this whole plot twist is kinda rewritten history. but wasn't Mallet her parole officer?

Gotta comment on yesterday's episode. It was so good for me anyway. Gina is just ... wow. She is so good.

I really like Cassie and Josh.

I like Blake/Jeffrey for some reason. They are fun.

Harley and Gus were pretty hot at the end.

I like the song they finished off the show with.

WHAT?? :o:o Mallet is Dinah's parole officer? WTF? I'm pretty sure you can't be a cop and a PO at the same time. That sort of seems like a conflict of interest. First I bust your ass and then I decide if you should be staying out of the slam. Oh, and here, let me help you reintegrate into society while we're at it. Not to mention getting involved with your parolee (is that a word? Whatever, you get my point) I know it's a soap, but for the love of god, give me a shred of reality.

Finally got around to watching Tuesday's show and I really enjoyed it!

I totally agree! They kinda have tamed Dinah a little too much by pairing her with Mallet and worse, she has this self-righteous attitude towards people who remind her of herself (*cough* Alan-Michael *cough*). I think pairing Dinah w/ A-M would be a great idea because they are alot alike but at the same time, two completely different people because Dinah is fighting so hard to not go back to that dark time in her life unlike A-M..who has a "Yeah, I'm bad and I don't care who knows it!" attitude. Not to mention that Michael Dempsey & Gina Tognoni have a ton of chemistry together.

GT was fab in that episode! I can totally see her getting an Emmy nom for that one! Mallet filing reports on Dinah from the beginning is a tad contrived but I'm not much of a Mallet/Dinah fan anyway so it's no skin off my bones. And if they're not going to break up, then they need some drama to keep them going...and one that doesn't involve Harley.

Speaking about Alan-Michael, even though I don't like the guy that plays him that much, he is dangerously underused. Alan-Michael is terribly being wasted IMO.
I really like MD (he plays snarky and carefree so well...it's so much fun just watching A-M try to take everyone down but being subtle about it) and I agree that he has been sorely underused. I have a feeling, though that's about to change 'cause it looks like A-M's the one responsible for ruining Dinah/Mallet's wedding-to-be, he's the new CEO of Spaulding Enterprises, and if the writers follow through on Alan asking him to go help Lizzie, then he might get involved in the baby story as well. :)

I like Blake/Jeffrey for some reason. They are fun.

I'm quietly going to join you 'cause I really like them, too.

Josh & Cassie...great as always! Jeffrey was being such a jerk to Cassie and I'm glad she didn't take crap from him. Even though Blake was trying to bring down Cassie just a bit, I loved their interaction...it's been a while.

Olivia acting !@#$%^&*]y towards Vanessa was funny. And I gotta say this but Michelle Ray Smith is soo much better when she is in scenes with Crystal Chappell! :o I liked the scenes between Ava & Olivia. I'm glad the show is revisiting their relationship.
