Wow. Sounds like the love is lost!

SHOCKED that Six Feet Under didn't make the cut as a drama series nominee. It has always been a critics' favorite... Not to mention that the final season was mindblowing, utterly brilliant and Emmy worthy on a weekly basis. They did not even sweep the writing category!? WTF!? The series finale was the best ending EVER of any series!!

Overall, they tried spreading the nominations diversely as it seems. Still pissed that noone from Gilmore Girls can be found in the final ballot. And why didn't Lost get a nod for best series? I'm sick of the constant Sopranos and West Wing pimping...

Its about time that Christopher Meloni was recognized along with Mariska Hargitay!

And YAY for Jaime Pressley!

Uh......WOW. Just WOW. Those look as odd as the Daytime Emmy Nominations.

Glad there is diversity this year, though. More of a chance for someone new and different to win.

I think with the CW launching this year, that will make for a much stronger network in terms of Emmy nominations.

Yup, the Charlie Sheen, Jon Cryer, and Kevin James nominations are crazy, but supposedly the blue panels loved the tapes from Two and a Half Men

Otherwise, the noms are actually okay, better than a few year's past. Not too sad for Lost, the buzz has worn off and there were far more deserving shows NOT nominated. Happy about the DH snub

I was so unethused watching them. The emmy's need a huge make-over. Supporting Actress (comedy? drama? can't remember, lol) is the best category, IMO. SO MANY deserving nods (Sandra Oh, etc).

Yawn.

Right along the lines of damning FOX...DAMN you ABC. Geena Davis was the only ABC actress to pick up a nomination in both the leading actress races...I think it's funny that the Housewives didn't get anything. I wish they had not canceled CIC.

Wow...these nominations are just...bizarre.

I can't believe Lost and Desperate Housewives got snubbed, especially Lost. I thought Lost was amazing this season. I can't believe House got in over it - yeah, it deserves a nomination for Hugh Laurie, but I don't think it does in series. If any show should have been snubbed, it should have been The Sopranos. Yuck. I was one of the few who enjoyed Desperate Housewives this season, so I'm sad it got snubbed. I just can't believe it got snubbed for the likes of Two and a Half Men. Ew.

I am pissed that Marcia Cross and Eva Longoria weren't nominated. They were great this year. While all of the actresses nominated are great, none of them matched up to them IMO. And Alfre Woodard? What the hell did she do this season?

I wasn't expecting much acting love, but I wish Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje had been nominated. And I'm still not its exclusion from drama series.

I am glad that Arrested Development and Will Arnett had been nominated. I'm disappointed Jason Bateman and Jessica Walter didn't make it. She totally should've been there in Woodard's place. I hope they win. It'll be the only reason I'm watching.

Yeah, these nominations are as fucked up as the Daytime Emmys.

I am estatic that Stockard Channing got a nomination for "Out of Practice"

I think the Marcia Cross thing was she prolly submitted comedy. DH is a drama w/a some comedy. I'm sorry if she was drama, she would have got the nomination.

And please give Martin Sheen the Emmy!! The West Wing kicked ass in Season 7.

I don't watch primetime TV except for Court TV at night, but I was sure DH and Lost would get some nods. Clearly, the Emmy panel wasn't as impressed with their sophomore seasons. I know I was extremely disappointed with DH this year and stopped watching.

I'm glad Jean Smart got nominated though. I saw her on an episode of 24 a few months back and she was riveting. She really has come a long way since Designing Women.

I would like it if Will and Grace wouldn't get anything. That show is and was extremely overrated, but I predict Sean Hayes, Debra Messing, and Megan Mulally will win simply because it's gone and it's a sympathy vote.

I'm glad that the ladies on Desperate Housewives did not get nominated! Finally, some diversity in the friggen nominations! Bravo! I remember that 1 or 2 years ago, EVERY leading lady on DH was nominated... WHAT THE [!@#$%^&*]?

On the flipside, I'm mad that Lost actors didn't get nominated, but, as I said before, there is finally some diversity... I'm not surprised that it wasn't up for Outstanding Drama because the show was a snoozefest this season.

Congrats to Kevin James (I don't think he's ever received an Emmy nomination), Alan Cryer and Martin Sheen! Also, bravo to Jean Smart, Gregory Itzen and Kiefer Sutherland (all from 24) who were all excellent this past season. And not to mention Tony Shalhoub who plays the obssessive-compulsive detective, Adrian Monk. He's just fantastic on Monk.

It's nice to see shows/actors get nominated that aren't usually nominated.
