Episodes S4 E206 – 240
The infamous Brooke and Eric wedding; I did see this episode in 2020, when we had the classic reairings of episodes during the summer months. And taking off in a hot air balloon? I would be sh***ing my pants, as the highest I can go is rollercoasters. I would have to get on a plane first, lmao. And the honeymoon spot is very cute. Eric really did go all-out to make sure it was as romantic as it possibly could be for Brooke... while she is busy dreaming about his son/her stepson.
Onto the infamous 1991 memory loss/Skid Row storyline; the person in Stephanie's driver's window was terrifying. William J. Bell knew how to produce some jump-worthy moments, matched with appropriate musical cues. Heard so much about it but have never seen it, as it was before my time. I am ready for this one!
Again, do not understand why Maria needed to be recast. Easily could have just said the Forresters have a new housemaid for themselves after Maria decided to retire. Rita Gomez just does not have the same warmth that Olga López had in the role.
Maria? At Forrester? Something I never thought I would see, but it is nice to see her outside of the Forrester mansion.
Damn, those men are encroaching on Stephanie's car like she is about to do something. ☠️
Sorry, but did Stephanie really think someone would help her in that moment? They would take the money and RUN to get more booze. Come on, Stephanie. And does she really think these houseless individuals give even a single f**k that her car is being stolen? I do not think so.
Life going on without anyone knowing what's going on with Stephanie is hilarious. 🤣 Blissfully unaware.
Felicia going to Spectra? What news... and Felicia vs Sally is not something I had on my bingo card. She really does have Stephanie's spitfire personality, doesn't she?
Damn... these folks are just manhandling Stephanie and abusing the f**k out of her. How petrifying. That is scary as f**k. Omg. Praying they don't do... more. Susan Flannery played the Hell out of those scenes. Wow. Terrifying.
I will say it is cool seeing Brooke and Felicia kind of get along, as I feel like Kristen was more aligned with Caroline. And knowing what I know about later years, Bold, that kind of "get along" no longer exists in the same way.
Damn, even when someone is trying to help her, Stephanie is snobbishly insufferable. Her belief in her class really speaks for itself.
Damn... Jake's uncle approaching him is creepy as f**k. And it's how it comes across in today's world in 4K television... imagine this s**t on box televisions during the afternoon hours. Whew. Bell knew what he was doing. The whole storyline just turned into a true horror story.
Such a better batch of episodes compared to the previous batch. Much, much better.
