As I've said, I had to switch to Firefox to sign in on my phone.

Chrome has been a problem for at least a month -- until today, when I cleared the cache on Chrome. Looks like that solved the problem.

I tried that on the recommendation of the AI program Claude. I went to AI because all of a sudden I couldn't sign into my Xfinity account on Chrome.

When the clearing worked on Xfinity, I tried it on SON, and it worked. Just passing this along in case anyone else has the same Chrome problem.

Yes, clearing the cache is something one should do often for every browser they use. Sorry you had issues with Xfinity, but I'm glad it helped trigger a solution to your connection issues at SON.

I was hesitant about keeping the confused icon, but I'll leave it for now since it's a neutral one, and there are cases where it might be necessary. Otherwise, happy people are responding well to thes

I actually like the monthly threads to keep up with the daily happenings of the show, so I’m hoping posters will still create them.

Until we start copying & pasting "I do NOT give Facebook permission to use any of my pictures, posts, or information, both past and future!!", there's probably hope we'll figure out the new format

Now I'm getting kicked in Chrome, and I've never had that issue before. I'm irritated. Grrr, but only if I'm on the main forum page or navigating from there.

Happening to me too just now - using Safari. Keeps logging me out - I log in and it works until I go somewhere else.

It's a caching issue. In looking into the issue brought up by @I Am A Swede all of a sudden caching problems started. If you logged in, even though you might see a page that says "Existing user? Sign in," you are likely still logged in if you click on other pages.

Trying to resolve.

Help @Errol - The site keeps logging me out now on laptop Chrome and cleaning cookies doesn't help. It's not possible to post anything. I had to login so many times just to get to write this and I am not sure that now when I will hit enter... it will post.

Yeah, this seems to be a https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/ URL issue (unfortunately, from my interaction with it) and then https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/forum/10-discussion/ as well.

The issue should now be resolved.

Just tested. Went to the main forum and came back with zero issues. You're the best. You need a nice vacation!

No time. Prepping interviews, Emmy coverage and trying to get back to news reporting, all while dealing with the message board's daily issues.

And you do it without complaining [outwardly]. How about a nice bottle of wine or a massage? 🙃
