I've always been a little suspicious about the whole Peacock Top 10 list because one day, not long after John's funeral, Days was just gone from the list. It was usually trending around #4 or #5 every day, but then it was just gone, without even dropping down a little first. I always thought that was weird. And also weird that some days, reruns of Everybody Loves Raymond were trending. I mean, I love that show too but come on 😂😂😂

That's interesting, I didn't know that. It's possible that Peacock removed it from the top 10 because they deemed it a wasted slot, as very few subscribers who weren't watching Days already clicked on it.

Out of the blue yesterday, a friend sent me an AI image of Jacqueline Courtney from Another World as a celebrity doll (I didn't understand the point, TBH, since the reproduction was awful).

Just for fun, I wanted to see if I could coax better images out of AI, with enough experimentation.

Et voila! Here are Deidre Hall and Susan Seaforth Hayes.

The reproductions may not be extraordinary, but they are soooooo much better than the unrecognizable image of Jacqueline Courtney. I think you can tell whom these dolls are supposed to represent (particularly the Deidre one).

An attempted photo of Suzanne Rogers failed completely.

AI still has a way to go.

Yep she's wearing a wedding dress.

Deidre brought a doll with her to see the Barbie movie in the theater in 2023, but she dressed the doll in pink for the movie theme. She reposted her picture of that recently when Ryan Gosling talked about her in March 2026.

It's a replica of her 1999 wedding dress when she married John on the original Marbie.

The real doll is better than a lot of the manufactured celebrity dolls I've seen, which so often bear no resemblance to their subjects whatsoever.

After a personal friend sent me a poor, unrecognizable image of an AI Jacqueline Courtney doll, a generous SON poster went above and beyond to treat me to the much-superior version below.

Wow.

I can see why and how creating customized images of your favorite subjects could become...addictive!

And also weird that some days, reruns of Everybody Loves Raymond were trending. I mean, I love that show too but come on 😂😂😂

It was quite peculiar how everything unfolded. Numerous websites share the Top 10/Top 15 rankings of streamers weekly, and I would say that until around the middle to late 2024, Days consistently ranked in the top 10 on Peacock from Monday to Friday. Then, all of a sudden, it just stopped trending completely. It didn't slowly tapper off, it just disappeared and as far as I know, it never regained its popularity. I found it strange that the show didn’t trend during significant events like Doug's memorial, John's passing and memorial, and the 50th anniversary. All of these were highly publicized events. I would assume that fans tuning in during the summer of 2024 would have watched again.

Not to imply that a significant number of viewers didn’t stop watching due to the show’s decline in quality; I recently stopped watching it daily myself. It feels like Peacock may have made some adjustments. I recall one of the individuals who posts the streaming charts mentioning before the show vanished from the rankings that Days was trending in the morning but not in the afternoon. They also had a second Peacock account where Days didn’t trend at all during the same period.

Once again, I’m not defending the show’s quality because it’s quite poor at the moment, but I can definitely see Peacock not wanting Days to feature in their top 10 to redirect viewership to other programs. NBCU has never fully supported Days, similar to other networks that tend to look down on soap operas, even though these shows have historically been more financially successful for them. These networks wouldn’t even exist today without the revenue generated from them in the past.

An interesting point to note is that Peacock recently announced it will finally turn a profit this year after six years. https://deadline.com/2026/06/peacock-profit-nbcuniversal-streaming-matt-strauss-1236939081/

This is largely due to NBCU holding the rights to nearly every major sporting event in the past year, including the Olympics and the Super Bowl. However, I think we can’t overlook the fact that Days has contributed to the streamer reaching this point, where it could become increasingly successful year after year. Hopefully NBCU won't overlook it as well.

Season 60 was the 4th most streamed show on Peacock, bringing them daily content at 1/10th the cost of the number 1 show on Peacock. story
