We don't all have to agree but we should at least be adult enough to use correct names especially when this poster is using official dates in his posts lol.

It's about respect. Some have it. Some don't. You are one of the ones that does have respect, and that makes you a better individual.

Today was a bit of a slow one. But there were some good showdowns, even though I think that Days is still making some of the wrong choices in these storylines.

Surprisingly, I found Rafe/Cat interesting. I liked the two of them going head to head over EJ. But it's definitely time for this storyline to have some movement or have another dynamic added to it, either with Rafe/Cat or EJ/Cat. I feel like it's been stuck on this one beat for too long now.

Speaking of EJ, I thought he and Theo worked well together today. I don't mind Theo going back to work for Dimera as Johnny's second in command, mostly because of what it could lead to for the two of them, and everybody around them. I wouldn't mind a close friendship, or a feud developing between the two of them. Giving the two of them that dynamic could add additional beats to their own storylines.

I still think Johnny and Chanel deserve a better storyline than Chanel having cancer though. They can do a lot more with the two of them than this. And this whole unfeeling oncologist thing seems a little too preachy, and PSA-like. But I like that Johnny was able to express his fears and concerns to Chanel, and that Abe went to go comfort her and Paulina once he found out about her diagnosis. Abe having to walk on eggshells because of Lexie was annoying though. Seriously, Lexie should've stayed dead. The storyline's not working and the character's not working. I'm not even impressed by Nikki Crawford either.

I feel like the show is intentionally writing NC's Lexie as annoying and mean on purpose. No one is really commenting on her behavior though so I am not really sure. There is no reason to make Lexie unlikeable to prop Paulina. Nikki Crawford may just be wrong for the part. RJ's Lexie was full on stealing babies and still more rootable lol.

About to watch... can't wait to see how HORRIBLE it is because of Cwikly and Ford... and if Lio isn't in it, omg, it's why we're not in the top ten, right? Because that's how we measure how good the show is? And yes, I spell names wrong because it shows how much I can as an online bully.

Once again, we play "let's review things that happened for Lexie", and it's more a replay of the same things we've discussed.

Chanel's and Johnny's scenes really did not hit the way they needed to. Her having cancer while pregnant is not landing simply because it does not feel like any research was done to ensure things were told more fluidly beyond "hey we're going to tell this story because we're a soap opera!" There is no intent to it, and that's irritating to me as a viewer.

I really enjoyed the scenes between Cat and Rafe. But we do need some movement to happen sooner rather than later. But I did thoroughly enjoy their scenes together.

Movement is happening. But it just needs to be kicked up a pace or two.

Some of the dialogue and emotion with Chanel/Johnny/Paulina was great. Very raw, and I appreciate that they aren't making Chanel some saint just because she's pregnant and has cancer. That said...

These episodes have felt soooooo slow and sluggish. There's just no energy to most of this. I feel like Rafe and Cat have had this same conversation 40 times. EJ and Cat have been in this same dynamic for a good 6+ months. The pacing has been very poor, even when the ideas are okay.

I’m not a he, thank you very much. So glad you found a friend with Liberty.

Moving on, Days is still lethargic and slow. There’s no story, just scenes. It’s a chore to watch each episode. Nothing really happens. Characters talk. Where are the cliffhangers that get the viewer to tune in tomorrow? They are non existent at Days. Reddit has them at Snores of our Lives.

-- The truth is that Cwikly and Ford are a snooze, and that it's a shame we won't get Ryan Quan scripts until NEXT JULY.

-- The truth is that it DOES matter that DAYS has dropped out of the Peacock Top 10 when it had been appearing there regularly before Cwikly/Ford.

-- The truth is that while we're getting some good scenes, overall the show is slow and dull, with stories that don't really seem to be going anywhere.
