I have a feeling the actress is on medication or something. I watched a clip of her from 2023 and she seemed completely fine. She had expressions in her face. Now it’s like she’s just spacey all the time.

Sharon Case has regressed so much as an actress. It’s tough to watch and that’s saying something when her co stars chomp every bit of scenery.

Sharon Case appears to have had some bad surgeries and bad injections, plus her voice has changed.

Someone needs to warn Sharon Case to stop doing whatever she's obviously doing to her face (and voice). It's getting in the way of her performances and putting her job security at risk, too.

Opening scene of Esther and Nikki chatting about Katherine came out of nowhere and landed with a thud. The intent was good but the execution was off.

I would have preferred Esther to be showing Nikki some photos of Miles and Bella and a chat of how they're growing up leading Nikki to make a veiled reference to Nick's issues. Save the Katherine references for another more appropriate time eg Esther talking to Devon.

Was pleased to see the NY cafe setting -it looked good and it was basically just a couple of walls. They need to do more of this. And there were 3 extras!

The first order of business is the set issue. Finding a way of having more sets and characters per episode so that one conversation isn't stretched out for the entire episode. And daily doses of GCAC,CL and Society are boring.

The Park Cafe has helped slightly but there are just too many cafe catchups.

-- That Nikki and Esther scene about Katherine did not work on any level. Awkward and forced.

-- Also awkward and forced? Holden and Claire. They're giving us flashbacks to a sex scene that was devoid of heat and passion. Get Nathan Owens away from that energy suck!

-- I have to agree with the comments here about Sharon Case. I've loved her for so many years, but this is hard to watch.

-- Josh Morrow has been really great, but that O.D. scene... my God. Watching then all pretend to do something to save Nick way laughable.

-- Clearly, Josh Griffith is looking for a way to keep Matt Clark on the canvas.

-- Before you know it, Matt will be forgiven and Phyllis will return Newman back to Victor.

-- I have no use for Victor these days, but hearing Jack tell Victoria he wants Nikki to leave her father for good was just ridiculous. Who talks that way to someone's kid?

-- The only story I care about these days is Cane and Lily.

I'm anti Claire on a number of levels

First the ridiculous retcon to get a new younger Newman on the show. And then tying it to another psycho.

Why not make her Matt Miller's long lost daughter? Or bring back Reed as a younger Newman?

Then having Hayley Erin back as a different character. She's not the most charismatic actress. And the shifts in the writing would challenge Meryl Streep.

I am sorry but I can't see Roger Howarth portray a monster like Matt the same way he played his wacky GH characters.
The episode looked fine, the stories are boring and/or stupid.

It's getting to Hunter Tylo levels of bad. So bad.

So the Newmans are all standing around wondering how they can go after Matt now that he has amnesia? As if that matters or changes anything? He’s still Matt Clark. He still committed multiple crimes. Throw him in jail maybe? Why are they acting like this is such a dilemma lol

Because, if the Newmans were as logical as the average audience member, they'd realize right away that Matt belongs in prison or a psych ward, amnesia or no amnesia. They'd see to it that he was locked up tightly, with the key conveniently misplaced afterward. Then, this asinine plot would be over; and once again, Josh Griffith would be the storytelling emperor with no clothes.

Of course he is. Ugh.
