Thoughts:

• JFC Dana... it is not like YOU are working, either. You have been busy planning a wedding for March 2027 that may not take place. Pathetic. Good on Derek for holding his own against her.

• Good job, Katherine. You are right: this is none of your business. Back down and focus on your miserable life for once.

• I love that the sight of her naked husband immediately improves Dani's state of mind. And I do not blame her one bit. Go on, girl, enjoy your man (while he is still yours to enjoy)!

• Dr Monica has her eyes fixated on Kial like she is about to work her magic for both herself and Shanice... if only she knew. If only...

• Lia is no-nonsense. It is not Ashley's fault that there are not enough staff in your hospital to handle the demand. Wake up, ma'am. Good for Ashley for not revealing the nurse's identity (although she may be persuaded to do so).

• Good 👏🏻 on 👏🏻 Eva 👏🏻 for 👏🏻 calling 👏🏻 out 👏🏻 her 👏🏻 mother 👏🏻 for 👏🏻 her 👏🏻 tomfoolery.

• Dr Monica seems to love all of the tea she is getting from Shanice about the happenings at Garland Memorial.

• I applaud Ashley for taking that lashing from Lia the way that she did. She is doing her best, and that is the best she can do.

• Dana frequently crosses boundaries, and I appreciate the effort Ted has taken to confront her. Someone might have to commit her.

• Get her, Dr Monica. GAG HER! Yass!!

Notes:

• Outstanding work from Zimmerman, Tate, and Williford today. They brought everything to life. Thoroughly enjoyable. Thoroughly.

• The episode's character interactions were refreshingly varied. Not everyone was stuck with the same character the whole episode. It was lovely.

• Despite my annoyance with Dana, Trisha Mann-Grant, who portrays her, excels in her role and clearly enjoys it.

• The men on this soap need to UNBUTTON their suit jackets when they sit down. For the love of God, UNBUTTON YOUR JACKETS!

On the other hand, if Carlton does turn out to be Eva's actual dad as opposed to Ted, then maybe that might give him more ties to the canvas other than simply being Nicole's lovesick puppy dog following her around.

There is something about her. Love her. Hope she stays around.

-- I like Dr. Monica, although I'd prefer Shanice fight her own battles with nutjob Leslie.

-- The free clinic operation is laughable. Leslie signs the checks? Huh? She sees Derek out for lunch and accuses him of not doing his job. Are we supposed to be OK with this nonsense because Leslie is so crazy?

-- Derek basically runs the clinic. Say what?

-- Ted shut Leslie down, but I wish the scene with Leslie putting her ass in his face was played differently. Ted acted as if he was tempted, but he should have been repulsed.

-- Ashley has now made a couple comments about the computers at Garland Memorial being slow. Huh?

-- Lia's criticism of Ashley and her warnings would make more sense in a busy hospital, but that main desk is NEVER busy, so I don't get what they're doing. I realize we're to see Lia as bad, but make it make sense.

I just feel it in my bones that they're about to do a who shot Leslie story. She's pissing damn near everyone off in FC lol

Unpopular Opinion: The only positive thing about Bill and Hayley is where they live. The interior design is actually cool, the furniture is just too close to the ground. There's nothing tacky about what the place looks like. And honestly real interior design is supposed to be tacky. This constant need for everything to be "tasteful" is exactly why white, beige, and gray became popular and it sucks.

Ohh that last scene was amazing. Dr. Monica needs to stay! She's not going to put up with Leslie's BS at all.

-- And since we're discussing Kat, I'll repeat that I'm still on her team.

She jumps the gun occasionally, but she's just about always right. Her entire damn family stupidly forgave Eva for what she did and has not been hard enough on nasty Leslie. Kat has had terrible parenting from Ted and Nicole.

Kat was also right in her argument with Chelsea. Did Chelsea run anything by her when she planned to move to Copenhagen? No. But Kat was wrong in wanting to move out on Chelsea and Madison, the sickenly sweet lovebirds.

Leslie and Derek's constant back and forth gives vibes that they might end up sleeping together. Nothing says soap like characters who are at each other's throats sleeping together.

Monica can match Leslie without letting her push her buttons like so many other characters do.
