BTG has not done well in communicating with viewers about planned breaks and now this. Really not a smart move.

This has nothing to do with the show, it's all Paramount/CBS.

I didn't get to watch yesterday's episode, because I only found out about the upload error on here today. I was planning on watching tonight, but then came on here to see it was taken down. I imagine there must be more people who don't watch daily or are further behind. I'm surprised they didn't at least keep this week up longer. Realistically, there should have been some kind of warning for weeks that certain episodes would disappear at a given date.

The sad part is yesterday's episode was actually good. Figures Paramount Plus would screw it up.

I was irritated to find season one gone but thankfully my YouTubeTV picked up episode 200. I know seasons are just a formality but I thought both Thursday and Friday felt so comfortable and lived in. It's probably more just the natural progression of growth but it made me excited for whats to come.

With Anita's storyline, this is the perfect thing to kick off season two and something I wondered if BTG could do. So far they're doing a great job with the story. The way it's unraveled and the way it's impacting the entire canvas has been brilliantly done. They were also smart to save this story for now when we know Anita and the Duprees and can feel the impact of it. I know she will make it but even knowing that, they're building so much tension that I still worry for Anita and the family.

Another thing I've enjoyed is that they've pretty much just let this story breathe. We've had some stuff on the side like Ted/Shanice but even that is still connected to the main storyline.

Another observation from the closing credits. June now has a surname: Hughes. Has her last name ever been mentioned on the show?

It's a stupid policy that works be changed.

Why not keep the latest year's worth of episodes online? For example, when January ends, remove the episodes from the previous January.

That would prevent this stupidity.

Peacock does something similar with Days. It definitely sounds like a better way to keep the episodes posted, instead of just pulling the rug out from under the fans.

I assumed they would do what Peacock does, keep the previous season episodes up.

I guess CBS doesn't understand the whole concept of binge watching. Soaps were designed and written for binge watching, and some people prefer to do a week or two rewatch at a time vs watching day to day.

There is no excuse to just drop episode 200 with less than 24 hours notice because they randomly changed "seasons" mid-week on a national holiday. This is wild considering they have thrown up so many random repeats over the year and actually had a new one on January 1 and then disappeared it overnight. This wouldn't fly with primetime. People should complain.

They definitely should. I had to sail the high seas to find one I missed.

One thing I've longed hope for is that they drop season one on Netflix. So many shows have found a new audience that way and I could see the same happening for BTG.

Preach! Totally agree.

And they are. I'm enjoying every minute of it, too. Cuz that was just plain stupid and they know it. Even more obnoxious as when the CBS player 'randomly' deletes a Y&R/B&B episode which it has been known to do. Back when both were more worthy of viewing.

I haven't watched the last two episodes yet, but I will never let anyone call me old school again because I have all the episodes that have aired recorded on my TiVO. Im pretty sure Thursdays episode may have been interrupted here in NYC for Mamdani's swearing in.

Anyway, I am so not cutting the cord.

After reading the comments, I can't wait to the episodes.
