As detailed in previous post, JJ found the transcript of Lawrence Alamain's trial for raping Jennifer; and during that trial, Jack admited that he had raped Kayla.

So anyone who was at Lawrence's trial knows about Jack raping Kayla. It wasn't private info (unless there was testimony in a private room or judge's chamber).

The one thing that I noticed this week, probably more than before is how low stakes this whole show is. Both the custody battle and this stalker story for example is just scene after scene of people talking ad nauseam about these things, but there is little action involved. The show built this brand new courtroom set last summer, they should of trotted it out and had a real custody battle between Chad and J&J. This could have been a huge story for the Horton family, and the 60th anniversary. During that mediation, when Chad brought up Jennifer's addiction, I literally said out loud, what isn't Chad bringing up Jack raping Kayla? Why isn't J&J bringing up Stefano and EJ? Chad literally is the last person to call out any horrible behaviour with in his own family lately, why wasn't that brought up? I just kept imagining the scenes we could have gotten of this going on in court. Imagine having Horton's and DiMera's testifying on the witness stand, and all their dirty laundry being aired out.

The same with this stalker story. We get scene after scene of Stephanie and Alex in that apartment now with Steve, talking about how dangerous this stalker is. What has the stalker done that is dangerous? Posted disturbing messages about Stephanie. Do any of these writers read social media. People post vile and disgusting comments all the time about celebrities, it doesn't mean they need police protection and criminal investigations. This stalker should have been doing horrible things, not just posting messages about it. Literally the worst thing that has happened at this point is Alex has huffed some powder sugar, and Stephanie and Alex had to go stand in the HTS for 5 minutes, not exactly the type of material that leaves you on the edge of your seat. My advice to these writers is amp up the stakes here. Less talk and more action. I know the budget makes it hard to write a lot of things, but be creative. It's not really that hard, Chat GPT could probably help lol

Agreed.

There needs to be much higher stakes in both of these storylines. When it comes to the conflict, it's like the writers only scratch the surface a little instead of really going there with high stakes drama. I wouldn't mind all the scenes of talking, if a lot of those scenes just dissolved into full on arguments or fights. And I was hoping we would get a full on custody battle as well, if anything, just to use the courtroom set again, which at this point, seems like just a waste of money on an already cash strapped show.

And honestly, the stalker thing should be tearing Alex and Stephanie apart, not bringing them closer together. You could've gotten so much drama out of Stephanie eventually coming around and thinking that Jeremy isn't the stalker, while Alex becomes more and more determined to prove that he is. Alex could even like use Sophia's mother or someone in order to get Jeremy fired from his teaching job.

Even with the excuse that the writers gave us about basically being in a holding pattern until they heard news about the renewal, I don't get why their choosing not to go there with any storyline. It can't be a budget issue.

I don't know who is currently aware that Jack raped Kayla. But the year it happened, Kayla filed charges. I don't know if that went to court or not.

He pleaded guilty to a lesser assault charge and got like community service or something.

Dude has only 2 purposes on this board. 1) Telling you ad nauseam that he has famous daytime friends, for real and 2) "subtly" baiting for negative engagement via his flopsweat compliments of SON's anti-favorites at every possible opportunity. Did you know how brilliant JFP is? How amazing Carlivati is? I met them at a party and they laughed at my jokes. Don't you know how fantastic and fun Leo is every day? SON just doesn't understand the real audience. Believe what you want!!

I've had him on block for years but it cracks me up any time I stumble across something like this and it is always the same 3-4 talking points. Once people stop biting he'll move on to defending McTavish or Stephen Miller or something. Gotta get the clicks!!

@Vee loves me! Always claims to ignore yet always knows what I say. Vee’s jealous of my connections. Research absolutely ranks Leo at the top.
