Oh, hello new Peacock intro! No more "do-do-do", I noticed. Paulina's reaction to Chanel's news of her having breast cancer was... a choice. I got zero sense of emotion from Jackée Harry as Paulina, and everything felt very robotic and to the script, which shows a lack of talent to handle such material. At least Raven Bowens was trying to give something in those scenes. Why is today the day to just drop the news of Chanel's cancer to their parents? 🤣 It feels very much like, "We need to push this story along now, so let's just drop everything in, and f**k emotional intent." Gabi vs. Philip could be an interesting story. Lovers turned to enemies, possibly back into lovers? I would be down for it.
