Given the way this year has gone, I'm saying sleeps.

I'm not holding out any hope that there's going to be less hot garbage this month.

I haven't watch an episode of this show for months and months.  I read the daily spoilers and can't find a thing that is interesting.  It's no longer the Y&R I knew for many years!

I hate how JG only focuses on one storyline at a time. Today’s CDN episode is just all scenes from L.A involving Noahs accident & the mystery around Matt Clark. This is why the audience gets tired of storylines so quickly because there’s no variety of story’s happening it’s just all heavily featured on one thing until the audience goes mad. This is why the sh*t with Dumas and France became exhausting after about a week.

This is supposed to be a soap. Where are all the other story’s? They’re gonna have Nick and Sharon on everyday for a month and then they’ll disappear for 3 months while he heavily focuses on another storyline that will get tiring and old as f*ck quickly because there’s no BALANCE!!

When you have 3 sets per show, very few sets overall, and a small number of actors per episode  it's pretty hard to have a variety of stories and much movement in plot.

I agree with you guys on the pacing and lack of balance with the stories.

I had to laugh out loud today. Holden and Claire have chemistry and are hot together, but seeing them wrapped in all those sheets was hilarious 😂

I'm trying to make sense of the Matt Clark story so far (probably a futile undertaking)

Sharon sees him and the whole cliffhanger is based on her being shocked.

First issue is that it's not the same actor, so immediately the effect is lessened. Had it been Ric Hearst it would have at least treated viewers from that time with due respect.

This was a similar 'shock' as to when Cane was revealed and it was a different actor.

The Sharon discusses it with Nick and they wonder why this bad man is back in their lives.

ZERO mention of the fact that he is supposed to be dead. Really?

So it's off to a rocky start and knowing Josh's track record we will be able to drive several trucks through the holes in this plot.

There was mention of Matt Clark's "death" at some point in Sharon's and Nick's conversation shortly after Sharon saw Clark. I don't happen to have the exact time it came up, but I can look for it later today...

Same sh*t Brad Bell does, focuses on one story to the point the audience gets sick of it and tunes OUT

OK, I just looked at the November 3rd episode, and actually when Sharon runs into Clark, she says, "...How can it be?...This is impossible. Matt, you're dead." The time interval is 2:47 to 3:02. I didn't rewatch any more of the episode, so I can't say whether Sharon and Nick talked about Clark being dead. But my point is actually that the writers had someone mention the Matt Clark death. That said, Paul, I do agree with everything else you said--the writers are very much mishandling Matt, or Mitch, or Todd, or whoever he is.
