Dante could've talked to Geo like he was an older brother who put his little brother in a awkward position. Instead Dante put malicious intent on Gio, making it seem like he doesn't care about Rocco.  What a self righteous prick further alienating his son. Speak up BrookLynn!

It's clear that Dante views Rocco as his one "real" son and doesn't have the same paternal affection for Gio, who he distrusts. Which is perfectly realistic, since he raised Rocco and only knew Gio vaguely as the neighbor's kid. But in the world of soaps, where a few months after a paternity reveal, we expect a long-lost biological child to be fully accepted as family, it comes off as shockingly harsh. But I think Dante is a self-righteous prick most of the time, so at least it's in character.

Caught my mom defending Sonny and Jason and I was like whew, you've fallen for GH's warped logic.

Your poor mom. I guess I should’ve realized if someone’s watched GH long enough they’ve probably accepted Sonny and Jason as the good guys because the show repeatedly tells us that and anyone that says otherwise is somehow in the wrong.

I will say Daniel Goddard is much more suited to this unlikeable prick role of Professor Dalton instead of the trying to force Cane as a romantic hero on Y&R despite totally being an assh.ole conman.

Some of Daniel Goddard's best moments on Y&R was when the writers would make Cane a prick...especially vs Victoria who could have had a hate sex thing a la Drew/Nina themselves. But Daniel Goddard had to whine.

When your viewers can't remember everyone who's in your cast, guess what you've got?  That's right: you've got too. Damn. Many. People in your cast.

I really hope Laura doesn’t get reelected. She doesn’t deserve it. Imagine her campaign staff, freaking out at the Metro Court as election results come in while she’s hanging out with Sonny.

Despite my wish that Ric get revenge on Alexis and the gang, I really enjoyed their scenes today. RH and NLG have honestly never lost their chemistry with one another.

Seems like Carly genuinely let herself give into Brennan today and regret it.

Also just cause I smoked earlier it, it randomly hit me for the first time in over a decade. They had Michael murder Claudia played by the actress that played all of the most important early Michael stories. Kinda twisted lol

Kate Mansi directed today's episode.

I wonder if she may be transitioning to behind the scenes.

How many GH actors have also directed while acting on the show?

Kimberly McCullough shadowed at GH and completed an ABC directing program, but I don’t believe she was ever credited as director or given an episode of her own to do. One of the reasons why she got work so quickly was because she had multi-cam knowledge from years on soaps.

Kate previously shadow directed or directed some scenes? on Days before GH, so it's been a passion of hers for a bit.

Thanks. I'm glad she got to as I know some producers tend to get mad if actors want to direct.

I could've sworn FV let other people direct either here or at OLTL. I may be wrong.

IIRC Kimberly is now very active directing multi-cam/sitcom work. I'd forgotten she even did Netflix's One Day at a Time.

This show is really trundling along BTW. When is someone going to show up to slit Beastmaster's throat or crack the whip on metrosexual Sidwell? (BTW, openly presenting this cheery bon vivant as casually bisexual would at least be something vaguely diverting.) At least kill Brennan by year's end. I'm bored.
