Not even that.  They appear so infrequently I almost forget they are a couple.  Their scenes are usually so brief and shallow.  At least it seems like the Dalton story is picking back up now that Britt is involved😑

I also agree. It's very noticeable to me given what's going on on BTG with their teens where we have an adorable couple in Ty and Jessica. We could be getting that (or a story) with Gio and Emma. So why we are not is just silly.

I feel like at this point, they appear once every three weeks. It absolutely blows my mind as they have so much potential to be the tentpole younger couple on the show.

I still don't really care about Gio as much as I might wish, but it's a shame they don't see the potential in Emma. I truly do believe her not being Joss is the biggest factor.

It is insane that GH isn't capitalizing on Gio & Emma, but that's typical for this show.

EVERY possible relationship is slow-walked -- every single one. It's a constant tease with every couple, and it's maddening. Either we see them so infrequently it's absurd or a hundred obstacles are thrown in their way.

If we get an exception to the rule (see: Carly & Brennan) it's a couple we don't care about.

We know soaps, so we don't expect instant connections and love stories, but no other soap does what GH does -- to its detriment.

GM makes me care about a character I didn't feel needed to exist, because he's turned out to be very charismatic and talented (in addition to having a great body). Those scenes with Jane Elliot at the reveal were so powerful, but I was onboard before that. It just happens like that sometimes.

I do think Frank has a very specific pecking order at the show and anything that isn't a part of that gets downshifted. It's just so frustrating, with both this couple and Alexa Havins (among other actors or couples).

And I'm loving this tea party so far. It's nice to see all the GH ladies in one place and the layers of subplots going on. It actually feels different, refreshing, and at the same time old school soap. 

Oh the holler I just let out at Portia's 'if you don't get out of my frakking face' strut out of the Q mansion to Jordan. Brook Kerr know she can sell a superb IDGAF attitude. 

 

And I see what you mean @carolineg about Veronica vs Tracy and while you felt a way about it. Cuz I too am annoyed at how the ladies are treating her when Veronica started with Tracy at this tea party and Tracy has been mentioning how she was avoiding her at said party. So how is Tracy the villain and not Veronica if not propped writing?
