Whether or not Britt is doing this to push Rocco away for his own good out of fear of her 'mystery' boss, it's a disgusting look. The show had already tried to excuse and whitewash Britt's actions with Dante and Lulu weeks before her onscreen resurrection. By the time they get around to the reveal unpacking Britt's latest ugly behavior no one is going to care. I've said it before, this crap Frank, CVE, etc. are pulling (because I do not believe Liz Korte gives a damn about Britt lol) is what will sink KT this time around.

The last scene where Britt took out medicine with the note-"Don't forget to take your medicine-C" made me think she might be being drugged and acting out because of that, but she's always been awful so I don't even blame C, Cesar, or drugs.

If this is actually some Faison microchip nonsense where RP is playing NuFaison with some magic USB in his head or something again I am out lol. I didn't watch that crap in the late '10s with Drew and Franco and I'm not going to now.

I can absolutely see Frank and CVE trying to do a last minute saving throw retroactively in future blaming Britt's most extreme bitchery here on 'the chip' too lol, but I think they just think this is more of her 'layers' of low self-esteem, defense mechanisms and la la la and that the rest will be blamed on the bad guys threatening her. Like they're writing for Sarah Brown in 1996 lol. This is what you get when you try to put over an aggressively divisive character with an actor with a very limited range, a merely serviceable writing staff and a meager fanbase who's already done terrible things to popular characters (even if the EP doesn't currently favor them). You can't put someone as acid yet superficial as Britt over the way you could in the '90s or 2000s when they were backstopped by some big onscreen personalities and some of the best in the business still on dialogue.

I can't believe Britt told Lulu out loud that she has a better connection with Rocco than Lulu does.  Horrible human being.

Britt is awful. I'm also rolling my eyes at Rocco's investment in her. I think it's over-the-top and ridiculous and not believable.

And why do we have Rocco referencing "MyFace"? It takes me right out of any scene when these fake names are given to social media platforms or anything else.  Just call it Instagram, for God's sake. BTG references pop culture all the time, and there's no reason the other soaps avoid it.

Why is there such a musical chair homing situation with Outback?  Like I love the dog, but why is this a story?

It's not a story, and I don't get it either. I do have to laugh that Outback never looks at anyone on screen😂

It's been especially embarrassing ever since Prospect Park was able to use real brands onscreen (ofc they were also so overbudget they could never give the cast like Erika Slezak their last paychecks lol), and now BTG of course. Using "SpyderFinder" and MyFace in 2025? Come on, ABC.

I do find it ridiculous that Gio, Emma, Cody, etc. are all preoccupied with catching a dog vs. bigger story. Even if I do love Outback. I'd much rather watch them all in real material vs. the Clan Obrecht/Faison or more of Joss and her latest doomed piece (whose winged retro coiff increasingly resembles a bygone 80s adult film star - Dennis Parker, we shall always remember you).

To be fair, this is done all over prime time. Do these productions simply hate giving "free publicity" to a platform or product?

Granted I don't watch a ton of network primetime these days, but I have never seen a ton of imaginary brands or search engines on primetime. Certainly nothing as egregious or cartoonish as GH's. I'm pretty sure the folks on Abbott Elementary, etc. are regularly shown using real social media and Google.

Seriously, wtf are they doing with Britt?

I actually had high hopes for this storyline and now it's basically FF material. It's like they've basically forgotten that post-Ron, Britt wasn't a lunatic anymore.

And yeah, Michael, grow some balls and tell your J/O parents that they're not welcome at Monica's funeral.

Again, I think they want us to feel Britt is deliberately amping up her bad behavior today to push Rocco away and keep him 'safe' from her employer/captor. But it doesn't really matter IMO. The groundwork was lain weeks ago to paper over what she did and pretend her relationship with Rocco was something else, and the general audience reacted very poorly. Britt is not popular or multifaceted enough and KT is not versatile enough to sell this 'layered' behavior. It's just going to turn more people off.

Okay, but imagine if they had Tracy react to Sonny/Carly, like Alexis did at Kristina's funeral. Might be worth it.

Let me go ahead and get this out of the way before I dive into the Monica week because today has been a good day for a good cry for me (a lot of family medical issues, but got some good news on my sister).

I felt the week before last was very much giving last week's BTG. It had good moments and I was not nearly as bored with GH as I was with BTG, it was just...THERE. I guess for me, I agree with what everyone else said...Drew woke up too soon in his murder mystery. And even that, he still hasn't changed (note to me: GOOD...Drew is best as villain). And because of that, it felt like they are already losing that momentum for that part of the storyline. Same for Britt's return which I felt has a good flow to it, but now that I've gotten to the scenes that @carolineg mentioned I agree. It's giving too much WannabeBrenda/Jason-lite and not what I came to expect from Britt/Jason scenes in the past. I immediately started to side-eye.

I must have missed the scene (or just not cared) where Sydney Joss and Vaughn officially decided to get together. That said, I did giggle when they pulled collective guns on Brennan. Now that Jason knows about Joss, I do admit that I'm interested in seeing if he will tell Carly and will it finally blow up Carly/Brennan.

I thought the Jason/Anna scenes were too on the nose. Now that the writers have Britt back, no need for them to play Jason/Anna scenes like they are wannabe lovers. Good said I. But THEY were the only ones who wanted that so the scenes played like they were trying to have a tantrum over something NO ONE in the audience wanted. What's the phrase...let it go. The audience do not mind Jason/Anna as friends...we just didn't want them as lovers.

I can't believe Britt just walked back into the hospital like she hasn't been gone for two years. And then she said BEN. Ooooo I saw red just like Lulu which means I'm Team Lulu on that. I don't like the storyline, and it doesn't help it has no layers to it. On the nose again. We are giving up the much more layered and entertaining (even with slanted writing) Lulu/BLQ rivalry. Le sigh.

I see how over Kai I am. And his recent scenes with Drew where Drew is trying to use him to get all of his blackmailing dirt just makes Kai look so daft.

I really like seeing Trina and Emma together and of course Emma and Gio. I was meh on the return of the professor.

Liz is love and apparently comic relief and I'm not hating on it.

I still feel Willow shot Drew and how K McMul is playing her...I feel like Dark Willow is far from over and I love that. Jacinta and Michael...I don't. Though I've enjoyed RG and DZ in scenes both looking like snacks.

I have liked seeing so much Nina.

And Isaiah is totally coming across as obsessed so I feel at some point he will be thrown under the bus.

I admit I no longer watch GH on a regular basis. I peek in from time to time, keep up with its news on the internet, and listen to friends' commentary about it, however.

Still, I am curious: someone has told me that the show seems to be starting a story about mad scientists/doctors conducting secret experiments in a hidden lab under the hospital, reanimating the dead. Is this true?!?

Now I hear about brain microchips and USB devices in characters' heads, and my own head is spinning. This is not the 1980s with crappy sci-fi nonsense all the rage.

Is the show really going there? UGH!

(If the show is really going to embarrass itself with back-from-the-dead plots, TPTB should at least try to reanimate important, legacy characters who never should have been killed off in the first place, rather than irrelevant side characters. How about Tony Jones, AJ Quartermaine, Karen Wexler or Logan Hayes Baldwin? I'd love to see a beloved vet take over as chief of staff at GH, and Tony would fit the bit perfectly. The show needs to rebuild the decimated Q family, and AJ could drive a lot of story. The Hardys, the Webbers and the Baldwins could also use a boost. Josh Duhon, who played Scotty's son Logan, was sexy, a good actor, and had a je-ne-sais-quoi that actually reminded me of Kin Shriner.

This show has so many minor, irrelevant, side and/or worn-out characters. Clean house and refocus on the core.

Where is Tommy Hardy?🤔

You're right, although IIRC there may have been real life issues as to why Logan was killed off.

It's a shame Scott is gone and they made such an awful mess with Jagger, as a Karen revival makes a lot of sense.

I'd like to see Tony back in some capacity - he had ties to the Cassadines so it could work.

When you break down the story the way you have, then along with the Obrecht reunion tour, I almost wonder if Ron is secretly involved with the show again.

Really? That's too bad. I hadn't heard. Still, I'd love to see Scotty, Karen, Logan and Sabrina back in Port Charles. The core families have all been decimated.

UGH! That recast Jagger and his pointless reintroduction to the show was insane! What an insult to the character, the show's history, and GH's longtime audience. (I'll always contend that Rick Webber's return as an evil degenerate was the soap's worst retcon/reintroduction of a character ever, however.)

Yes, and the show could use a beloved patriarch to provide a moral core.

Scribes keep changing, but the swill they dish up all tastes the same, alas. Along with a huge chuck of the pointless characters, Frank needs to get axed.
