I agree that Alison is coming across crazy. I personally don't agree that she is doing a terrible job. Is she amazing, no, but she is selling crazy pretty well. I'm actually shocked more people aren't having criticism about RhonniRose's acting.

RhonniRose is not great, but I'm chalking it up to if she gets plenty of coaching she'll get better.

We don't know if Hailey was really pregnant, but I felt kind of bad for her when she went to the Duprees. Why wouldn't she want to stand by her husband.

Huh? RRM is selling this big time.

Ok, then maybe she has the same cadence or affect that the Martin actor has where things come across a bit monotone and it doesn't read well all the time especially for more emotional scenes.

I personally struggle to watch her acting. She has always been at the bottom of my list for acting ability on this soap, but like Martin I hope to see they improve with support and guidance.

I think we're seeing a Kristin Dimera, Annie Dutton, Virginia Harrison be born.

I did like that Hayley stood up for herself. I hope we continue to see that side.

I was conflicted with Hayley's actions. Yes, the Duprees need to accept that she is Bill's wife and that's that. However, she knows the family is dealing with something serious and they aren't on good terms with her. I believe she should have taken Bill's advice and stayed away.

This isn't a critique of the show. I think it was a good choice that brought good drama. It is more an analysis of Hayley and it is clear she is very insecure in her marriage with Bill.

I'm conflicted. I agree she should want to be by her husband's side, but she didn't listen and the timing was awful in the moment. I was really enjoying Hayley/Caroline in the beginning, but then Hayley lost me with her inability to see that being at the DuPree house wasn't where she's needed/wanted, and only causing more stress/anxiety. Support Bill outside of that specific environment.

I haven't been Team Naomi lately, but that scene with Nicole sure was good and really needed, so kudos to the writers.

Kat stays doing the most, which part of me loves and part of me wants to jump through the TV screen, pull her to the side and set her mouth straight LOL.

I'm really enjoying this Alison/Chelsea storyline. Are there flaws? Sure, but overall it's giving more classic soap opera with modern twists (like lesbian/poly relationships, social media reach out and online stalking/catfishing, etc). Granted, I haven't watched a modern day soap opera since AMC/OLTL went off the air, so maybe the current soaps have done some of this more recently.

Exactly my feelings on it! :) You said it better than me haha.

I think she doing a good job too. Allison is extremely delusional and thinks she can will Chelsea. Roberts is playing it subtle and not over the top.

She's playing it as someone truly believing Chelsea is into her, but not in a scary way.  She seems to be approaching these scenes as someone trying to keep hold of hope that Chelsea really does still like her (though I'm still curious why Allison turned down the opportunity to explore something deeper with Chelsea when Chelsea confessed her feelings.   Has that been answered yet?)

Just saw your post! I see we are having similar feelings about Hayley.

I also agree with you about Kat. Sometimes it's great and sometimes someone needs to tell her to go sit somewhere.

I didn't love her judgy tone when she said some comment about Craig being an escort either.

Hayley was completely self-centered and didn't even seem to really care about Chelsea. Bill and Dani weren't even acting like a couple, but as parents so her outrage was misplaced.

Allison gives Jan Spears vibes, except the story isn't as cartoonish as Jan keeping Shawn in a cage.

I never watched Dimera or Harrison. Wait, is Harrison the one with the turkey baster?

As for Annie Dutton, I really hope we don't get that from Hailey. That would be too much.

I still think this show has been hella predictable. Too predictable oftentimes, but good job today on the revelations of Craig. He's still breathing first of all. I actually thought, like many others, that he'd been done in at some point by crazy Allison. But nope! Then comes the revelation that he's one of Joey's paid whores. I really didn't see any of that coming. It was a good way to use the revelation we got months ago about Joey also owning an escort service specializing in male sex workers.
