Dani got dropped? GOOD! Im glad there are real life consequences for her acting a damn fool in public. She's not in jail so she should consider herself lucky

I got to say, I'm really impressed with Tamara Tunie's acting; I never realized until now just how good of an actress she really is. And until recently I only knew her from her recurring stint on Law & Order: SVU as M.E. Warner.

Martin is very winning this week with Smitty and the girls. There's been much more warmth from BC lately.

Dani did ask Anita not to intervene and it's clear Anita probably would not have stepped in had the charity not waited until after Dani finished the fundraiser to drop her. Anita's anger was justified in that instance.

I think the beauty of what the show has done is that Dani (like her typical daytime archetype) is divisive. You have people on here or on Twitter repping for her and Anita hard, and then you also have people who hate what Anita did and think it's more enabling of Dani. That's just soap. I think the writing does show both sides of Dani, for good and ill.

You can tell how much Karla is loving playing this very arch stuff, clashing with Bill or MC'ing at the fashion show, etc. I've been very impressed with her, both in the key scenes with Timon Durrett last week(?) and now. And I was never a big Karla Mosley fan before this show.

I think Karla had a difficult road to travel at the start with Dani in manic mode-that was done to grab eyeballs-how many times did we see the golf club sweep in Bill's office?

Those actions coupled with her getting into the role itself made Dani hard to take at times, but I think it is settling down and she and Dani are becoming more nuanced.

As for villians being punished thru karma, I'm not there for it.

There's also the fact that they have clearly laid track for Dani being potentially an alcoholic and/or bipolar, through her repetitive behaviors (and the repetitive cycle of scenes with booze, fúcking Andre, acting out, etc). Any time Dani gets on an even keel she self-sabotages. I get building groundwork but I do hope the treadmill of those scenes is ending with this week's developments both with the board and Samantha.

She definitely feels entitled to the prestige that comes with marrying wealth. She should do what Derek said and look for friends instead of begging to be accepted at the country club.
