The fault of that scene not being the cliffhanger falls on the breakdown writer (Ron C) since they're in charge of outlining the events of the episode while the script writer fills in the words spoken by the characters.

I am not sure. I think it also depends on actors' guarantees/sets etc. Maybe the apartment set won't be available for the following episodes, or Kat's actress wasn't supposed to be onscreen etc.

Leslie's downfall is her own stupidity. It never made any sense why she created the Anna persona and approached Kat. Even if she wanted to do that, why not just do it as Leslie? She was being too extra for no reason

also why does she still have photos up in that place after Ted walked in? He could come back to see if she actually left or something like what happened yesterday could have always been a possibility. Im not understanding her

I agree. It doesn't make any sense. The concept of the story was extremely simple but they managed to make it convoluted and filled with plot-holes, starting from the whole 'I'm Leslie but I'm Dana, your mother but your surrogate mother' mess.

Of course they have the camera angled to capture that bottle of Febreeze perfectly in the frame

Ok shirtless Derek ;)

More Febreeze spraying... smh haha.

I do love the different characters mixing it up today!  And my favorite script writer, should be a good one.

Go off, Jacob!

The Martin and Bill scene wasn't long enough but I loved watching Martin walk away.

Good lord why do they exist? Completely kills the momentum and feel like they are on a different show than the rest

eta:

Ashley: "You want tot get married?"

Derek: "GOD NO!"

LOL...thats the only time I ever laughed during their scenes.

LOL why is there a solo picture of Derek on his refrigerator?  At least put a pic up of both y'all.

I'm glad Doug finally came clean to someone, even if under patient confidentiality.  I want him to succeed here, but considering he's not a contract player, I just have a feeling he won't make it out of this alive.
