Finally moving into March and...I'm good.

I'm happy that I got what I wanted with Laura's kids coming home finally. And that I got to see an old school GH writer come back even if he didn't get to live up to his full potential.

That said...the pushing of that silly Sasha/Jason plot, Sidwell smirking all over the place like FV's latest flavor of the month, the Joss-is-Sydney-Bristow plot, and the lack of Laura with said kids...not to mention Liz...add onto the overkill return of the wackas, wackas is just too much for me.

Which is sad since I liked Ms. Wu being back and in cahoots with Drew. I see Lucas and Brad made it to Miami (and Mr. Shen looks attractive to me...js). And now Drew continues to hit hints of true villainy with trying to blackmail Portia. And I'm always here for Drew vs Curtis. So there is some good going on, but the main writer is just not to my taste and the emotional resonance scenes that actually do pop up when I see ER in the header are being too much once in a blue moon for me.

I might check in in a month to see if anything is going on for the anniversary episodes. And of course, I'll be around for Leslie's tribute. And we know I'll come running when Vanessa Marcil makes an appearance. But nothing going on here I want to see, and I always say that I'm not one for hatewatching. Moreso with BTG giving me more to chew on and DAYS about to have a set of new writers and I'll always for when new writers come on.

Do feel free to tag me though when the Drew murder mystery starts, Michael returns, or any relevant Laura/Lulu/Lucky/Liz tidings.

I might go see if there are clips around. My viewing is more than likely going to stop on Wednesday's episode since I want to see the fallout of the Brad/Lucas Miami scenes.

I wouldn't even say it's the dumbest thing they've done this year. Anything with Joss is a failure anyway. They could have her go to clown school like Maggie on OLTL and it wouldn't matter.

Very good work from both ladies. Alexa has been a big gift to the show in terms of performances. Even after all the years out of daytime, she hasn't missed a beat.

She reminded me a lot of Bobbie in her argument with Brook Lyn - she will admit to her faults and not care if she's self-righteous, she is still going to say what she thinks.

She lacks Bobbie's warmth, but that's what happens when your father is a rapist and a deadbeat and your mother isn't there most of the time.

Of any Spencers left on the canvas she's the only one who channels the old Spencer vibes.

I've seen some fans say this isn't who Lulu is and it's ruined her, etc. but this is very familiar to me. Maybe they were just big Emme Rylan fans?

Lol. I've enjoyed being a regular viewer again for the first time since 2014 thanks to the pandemic bringing me back in 2020, but like people feel about bad camp over on RC's DAYS is how I feel about the silly slapsticky 'factory settings' style on CVE's GH. And regardless of EK's oversight, his (and therefore FV's) style shines through for me from the moment I made my disclaimer when I saw his name back in August. I have given credit where it's due, but the cons for me have grown higher than the pros. Cuz that WSB screams Emma. SCREAMS. The fact she's not involved is...NO.

So...short arc appearances for me.  Unless She of the Model Dark Hair appears and I know I will come running for one Ms. Barrett.

ETA: We will always have Ashley Abbott and the Damian storyline (not to mention Silk Press Shiela on BTG) on Y&R.  Oh and RHOA which starts tomorrow and I need to finish my last season binge.

ER? What? Do you possibly mean EK?

I thought we were done with Brad/Lucas. I thought they both reached closure. Which admittedly is not nearly as good as reaching other things could have been.

Oh, woe is me that our regular old baggage-ridden soaps are so dadblasted conservative when it comes to what oughta be "Love in the afternoon".

But apt given what I typed.

I'm surprised they showed the Miami trip. They been talking about it as long as they talked about the teens going to Sonny's cabin where Esme set up Sex-Tape-Gate to frame Trina.

But Lucas/Brad have slowly been growing closer. So it was coming...just been a C plot around all the Cyrus/Drew-as-Villain stuff. And once they do get back together...which looks like it's going to go the way of the taking forever to happen CVE style...they have the perfect spoiler in Carly so already does not want them together. But alas.

And destroyed a perfectly good couple, that being the people in the sex tape. I of course am speaking of Cam & Joss who were never the same after their having sex was e-blasted to the entire PCU email apparatus. Which should be prevented by the system!

I took what Lucas said as a final nail in that particular coffin. IMO Brad & Lucas are done & done & gone, too. Over. Kaput.

If he reversed himself the only thing I can see happening is Lucas cheating with some beautiful dude.

I just finished binging GH and I thought this week was damn good. From Portia/Ava to Isaiah/Jordan and all the Quartermaine drama, I was very impressed. I also loved the scenes with Sidwell and Alexis.

The highlights of the week for me were the scenes between Tracy and Sonny about Gio. Maurice Benard doesn't always give it his all but you could tell Jane Elliot pulled it out of him. Then the scenes with Lulu telling Carly, I found Laura Wright's performance to be so layered in a way I didn't expect from those scenes. I truly bought everything she said about Brook Lyn reminding her of Bobbie. The final highlight for me was Lulu confronting Brook Lynn. I don't think I realized that Brook Lynn didn't even now she had a son. I find her to be the most boring character on the show most of the time but I was completely invested in a way I haven't been about this missing baby saga.
