How come the Dani/Bill wedding photos (supposedly 30 years ago) have the character looking like they do today?

Dani went straight for that golf club w/o a sideways glance. Does Bill always leave it there?

I've been thinking the same thing.  If you're creating a soap opera with a big core family, and if you want that core family name to survive the generations, you need some male offspring.  Have they definitively said in the scripts that Anita and Vernon have only two children?  Or is it possible they have other children who are just off the canvas and living elsewhere?

My first guess is that Ted may turn out to be Eva's father, and the two are in two plotting revenge against his family.

Anita has a secret but that wouldn't work out to be a legitimate Dupree.

Omg!!! I literally typed that out and then deleted it, because I didn't want to get attacked. But that is exactly who I thought of, as well. 

He's great eye candy and hopefully in a few months he will ease into this role more seamlessly. 

An interesting plot point that I saw somewhere else. Dr. Ted's late brother was his twin. Who Leslie was spying at was the person she thought and slept with was the one she had Eva with. Leslie had no knowledge of him having been killed in an accident, so she thinks that Ted is THAT man. I like it.

The show has been on for two days, and this thread already has almost as many pages as the GH thread, and almost twice the number of the B&B, Y&R and DOOL threads combined....

I loved the transition at the 17:21 mark on Paramount Plus. It felt like a 90's soap transition with the music.

Okay, so I could not watch the show live due to working, but I watched Monday and Tuesday's episodes last night and I am really enjoying the show.  I will say that Tuesday's episode was alot better than the premiere, but that is to be expected.  I am loving Nicole and I will admit Haley as well.  I do think that one of Haley's parents is somewhere on the canvas, we just don't know who....YET. I do think their is more story to Nicole's assistant and would like to see them explore that too.  

 

I think Eva is connected to Nicole's husband somehow??? Maybe a ONS that produced the daughter???? I am enjoying the cast, but do hope they will add some additional daytime names to the show that are not so Green (Hint Victoria Rowell as the sister of Tamara Tunie's character Anita or better yet a secret former lover of Vernon that no one knew about).  

Also, I do feel that the need to bring in another core family on the show to balance it out a little more. Someone who is competition for the Dupree's, etc.  Someone whose Patriarch is the baddie so to speak (opposite of Vernon).  

But so far I am impressed and enjoying the show. Here is hoping the other networks, stand up and take notice and either bring on some new shows or revive some of the cancelled ones.

I’m getting more of a fatal attraction vibe from Leslie. She’s using Eva and her friendship with Ashley to worm her way into Dr. Ted’s family and inner circle. Ashley’s mother apparently worked for the Dupree’s and she grew up around them and has their respect as well. 

Leslie could have more of a history with Ted and his family though, we’ll see. But I think, ultimately, she’ll seduce him, then become obsessed with him, and try to steal Nicole’s life. 

I do think Ashley's dad is somewhere on the canvas, we just haven't met him yet.

Not necessarily; Dani is clearly using the Dupree name, as is Nicole (with Richardson). But of course a long-lost son could be in the making, although it makes me wonder if it'd be from Anita (pre-marriage) or from Vernon.

Well, doing twice the number of B&B/DAYS/Y&R is not that difficult. Things are actually happening on this soap in comparison to the others.
